WATCH: Congressman shows how Biden's border crisis is 'deliberate'

Millions have responded to what essentially was Biden's invitation, and now even "sanctuary" cities are complaining about the massive financial burden of caring for those millions. Hunt explains we know the move was deliberate because Biden canceled procedures under which "we weren't talking about more than seven million illegal aliwn encounters at the southern border."

Instapundit - Mass cellphone outage sparks fear...

"PROFESSOR CARRINGTON, CALL YOUR OFFICE: Mass cellphone outage sparks fear of communications, electric grid failure.

Thursday’s sporadic interruption of national cellular phone networks has raised new concerns about how a large solar flare event or an atmospheric nuclear attack could shut down a wider network of phones or even the electric grid.

While the number of phone outages was small, they showed up coast to coast, and some media spun the story up into a major crisis. “World Is Ending,” screamed the Drudge Report in a red headline.

Early indications are that it could have been caused by successive solar flares big enough to interrupt cellular service but not affect the electric grid.

Early on I was hearing it was hackers, but whatever.

The EU's Complicity in Financing the Iranian Regime :: Gatestone Instituteby --Behind these seemingly benign economic [trade] transactions... lies a troubling reality: the funds generated from Europe's trade with Iran are being funneled into activities that are now prolonging violence and conflict, and posing a direct threat to European, Middle Eastern and North American security interests.... Since 2012, the Iranian regime has allocated more than $13 billion to support its network of proxies.

New Testimony Reveals an IRS Contractor Stole Much More Than Trump's Tax Returns - Katie Pavlich
"In 2019, then IRS contractor Charles Littlejohn stole President Donald Trump's tax returns and illegally leaked them to the media.
They were also given to Democratic operatives.
Last month, Littlejohn was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to a number of federal crimes...
“Charles Littlejohn abused his position as a consultant at the Internal Revenue Service by disclosing thousands of Americans’ federal tax returns and other private financial information to news organizations. ..

According to recent testimony by IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel, it was tens-of-thousands of Americans.

Former prosecutor dumps cold water on Dem narrative that FBI informant's arrest clears Biden family of corruption allegations | Blaze Media

Former prosecutor dumps cold water on Dem narrative that FBI informant's arrest clears Biden family of corruption allegations | Blaze Media

Last week, a grand jury indicted Smirnov for allegedly lying to the FBI. Special counsel David Weiss accuses Smirnov — previously a confidential human source for the FBI — of falsely claiming Ukrainian energy company Burisma paid then-Vice President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden $5 million each in 2015 and/or 2016.

Democrats are using Smirnov's arrest to absolve the Bidens of wrongdoing.

But Democrats aren't being honest, according to McCarthy, who explained on Wednesday an obvious fact: Smirnov's allegations were not the "lynchpin" of the corruption allegations.

Rather, the problem lies with the St. Louis office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which failed to process St. Lazare's grant renewal in time for its upcoming fiscal year, which started May 1, 2023...

Appeals Court Upholds Ruling Striking Down NYC Voting Rights for Foreigners

A New York appeals court upheld a prior ruling that struck down a New York City law giving local voting rights to nearly a million foreign nationals. As Breitbart News chronicled, Democrats on the 51-member New York City Council approved a plan in January 2022 that gave more than 800,000 foreign nationals with green cards, visas, and work permits the opportunity to vote in citywide elections so long as they have resided in the city for at least 30 consecutive days.

Michael Smith - Moral hazard is when a person or persons act... | Facebook
"Moral hazard is when a person or persons act differently when they are not exposed to the consequences of their actions.
  • Student loan "bailouts" are examples of moral hazard.
  • Letting criminals off without detention is moral hazard. Releasing illegal aliens with no expectation of deportation is moral hazard.
  • Fani Willis is a walking moral hazard.
In a way, moral hazard explains our federal government and its attendant bureaucracy, but in the linked case below, it indicates what happens when we dole out unearned money to people who have no skin in the game.

Biden Pours Out Another $6.5 Billion for CHIPS Act's Costly Protectionism - VARAD RAIGAONKAR
"...While the legislation was likely well-intentioned, it was doomed to have protectionist ramifications. "To defeat China, the argument goes, the U.S. must adopt the tactics of the Chinese Communist Party, at least when it comes to high-end manufacturing," Reason's Eric Boehm wrote in January 2023...
It's likely unsurprising that many large corporations lobbied for the CHIPS and Science Act, including Meta, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Apple, Northrop Grumman, Carrier, Trane, and General Dynamics, as well as labor unions like the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations and the Communications Workers of America.
"Big government means big lobbying," wrote David Boaz, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. "When you lay out a picnic, you get ants. And today's federal budget is the biggest picnic in history."...

Harvard professor published study finding no racial bias in police shootings, then needed police protection as 'all hell broke loose' | Blaze Media - PAUL SACCA
"...and he needed police protection.
In 2016, Harvard Economics Professor Roland Fryer published a study to explore racial differences in the use of force by police...
  • However, when it came to police-involved shootings, minorities were found to be less likely to be shot at by an officer.
  • The research revealed that blacks are 23.5% less likely to be shot at by police than whites. Meanwhile, Hispanics were 8.5% less likely to be shot at by police compared to whites...
During a recent interview, Fryer revealed that there was tremendous outrage over the findings of the study – to the point he needed police protection for his family.
  • Within four minutes of publishing the paper, Fryer received an email that read: "You're full of s**t."
  • He explained, "I had colleagues take me to the side and say, 'Don't publish this. You'll ruin your career.'"
  • The hostilities toward Fryer were so intense that he required police protection for about a month, including his then-7-day-old daughter...
