• When the deal was first announced back in 2012, the estimated cost was $2 billion. 
• Then it was $4 billion. 
• Then it was $4.8 billion. 
• Then it was $5.7 billion. 
• It was supposed to be completed last year at a cost of $6.4 billion.
• It’s still not done, and the smart money puts the final costs north of $7 billion. (This does not include the unspecified millions the U.S. will shell out for customs and border inspections each year.)

Traffic across the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel has fallen by nearly 60% since the year 2000 as auto manufacturing has shifted to the Southern U.S. and Mexico. 

At that rate, according to an independent study from 2018, the Gordie Howe Bridge will never pay for itself.

Americans for Public Trust (APT) released a bombshell report unearthing the extensive financial activity of British billionaire Christopher Hohn in U.S. political causes.  - Shawn Fleetwood

Through the use of his nonprofit, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), Hohn has “funneled over $553 million into U.S. organizations from 2014 through 2023 to bankroll advocacy campaigns and push a radical green energy agenda,” according to the analysis...

The APT report focuses on numerous subject areas touched by Hohn’s foreign dark-money influence, including radical environmentalism.

• Per the analysis, the British billionaire is “one of the largest disclosed individual donors to date to the global organization Extinction Rebellion, or XR,” which APT describes as an “international collective founded in 2018 … [that is] behind a series of mob-style protests across the globe.”..
• The report also details how, in 2018, Hohn (via CIFF) purportedly dumped $7 million into the D.C.-based Center for Climate Integrity to back so-called “climate litigation efforts”...to bring lawsuits against energy companies over claims that they are responsible for climate change.”
• Hohn’s financial tentacles also extend into the sprawling dark money network known as Arabella Advisors...
• Another “alarming” feature of Hohn’s dark money shenanigans flagged by APT is CIFF’s “ties and relationships” with communist China...

Within hours of this horrific crime, the same left-wing voices who spent years justifying and downplaying actual violence from their own side were rushing to condemn political violence and trying to flip the script by claiming that political violence is predominantly a right-wing phenomenon. - Matt Margolis

...The go-to talking point making rounds among Democrats and their media allies centers on a study from the Cato Institute’s Alex Nowrasteh, which purports to show that right-wing extremists commit the majority of politically motivated killings in America...

When I saw a graph from the study showing murders in politically motivated terrorist attacks (excluding 9/11), two things immediately jumped out at me.

• The first is the big spike in 1995. While obviously because of the Oklahoma City bombing, the question I had was how Nowrasteh categorized it. As I suspected, he categorized Timothy McVeigh's ideology as “right-wing,” but this classification is debatable. McVeigh was an anti-government extremist whose rage stemmed from anger over the 1993 Waco siege and the 1992 Ruby Ridge standoff, not from conservative ideology. McVeigh rejected both political parties, described himself as agnostic, supported abortion rights, and drew inspiration from militia and anarchist movements rather than conservatism.

• The second red flag is even more damning. Notice how the data conveniently shows a dip in 2020, the same year America witnessed the most destructive riots in its history. The George Floyd riots not only caused billions in property damage nationwide, but at least nineteen known deaths. Yet somehow, none of these deaths made it into Nowrasteh’s tally of political violence. How convenient.

The scheme ultimately involved nearly 70 'prominent m*slim migrants and the democrat party in what ended up being the biggest Pandemic-era fraud scheme.
According to court records, a 23-year-old juror, identified as Juror #52, received an unexpected visit at her home on a Sunday evening, just before the trial was set to conclude.

• A woman arrived at the juror’s home carrying a bag with $120,000 in cash inside.
• The woman left the money with the juror's father with a message, vote to acquit the defendants and get another bag of money.

The juror immediately called law enforcement and handed over the cash-filled bag, which was described as containing bundles of $100, $50, and $20 bills.

• The following day, U.S. District Judge Nancy Brasel was notified of the incident and dismissed Juror #52 from the case...
