"July 24, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — The Minnesota mother whose son was maneuvered through a “sex change” by county officials has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review her case.
She is charging the government with usurping her parental rights when its agents provided her son with transgender services and narcotic drugs against her wishes.
"July 24, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) — The Minnesota mother whose son was maneuvered through a “sex change” by county officials has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review her case.
The Thomas More Society petitioned the High Court Wednesday on behalf of Anmarie Calgaro, arguing that Calgaro’s due process rights were “trampled on” when St. Louis County and its referred health providers “ended her parental control over her minor son without a court order of emancipation.”
“It’s a parent’s worst nightmare,” Thomas More Society special counsel Erick Kaardal said.
“Anmarie Calgaro’s child, while a minor, was steered through a life-changing, permanent body altering process, becoming a pawn in someone else’s sociopolitical agenda and being influenced by those who have no legal or moral right to usurp the role of a parent.”..."

Conservatives reject Facebook's instructions to 'pound sand' - WND:
Kyl spent more than a year hearing the concerns of reportedly 130 conservative groups, and in turn, shockingly left us with a hollow report devoid of substantive policy proposals. This audit is exactly the opposite of what conservatives were hoping for.
"Facebook has listened to the conservative movement's complaints and in response has invited us to pound sand. It's insulting but unsurprising. Unfortunately, this is how Facebook routinely responds to criticism.
"No conservative leader or organization should accept this as a legitimate response to the undeniable issues we have raised. This is purely another superficial attempt by Facebook to placate conservatives with empty promises.

"Did you know that only a handful of corporations, 6 to be exact, control over 90 percent of the media?
That means nearly everything we hear on the radio, read in the news, and see on television (including ‘news’).
I’m talking about General Electric (GE), News-Corp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, and CBS.
Ever since Operation Mockingbird, a CIA-based initiative to control mainstream media, more and more people are expressing their concern that what we see in the media is nothing short of brainwashing.
This is also evident by blatant lies that continue to spam the TV screen, especially when it comes to topics such as health, food, war (“terrorism“), poverty and more....
In the below eyeopening talk, veteran investigative journalist (and Former CBS NEWS investigative reporter) Sharyl Attkisson shows how “astroturf,” or fake grassroots movements, funded by political, corporate, or other special interests very effectively manipulate and distort media messages.

Despite making up only 7% of the entire U.S. population, non-citzens amounted for 64% of all federal arrests in 2018. Federal arrests of non-citizens over the past twenty years increased by 234%, while federal arrest of U.S. citizens only grew by 10%. Yes!----Finally, conservatives have a street fighter as president
Finally, conservatives have a street fighter as president"Has there been a president in living memory who relishes a fight more than Trump?
I don't think so.
That is a major reason why he remains popular with conservatives and has seen his favorability ratings rise.
Sure, I like President Trump's actions on job-killing regulations, tax relief, border security, energy independence, military funding, judicial appointments, and so on.
But what really invigorates me and millions of other EverTrumpers is that he is fearless -- impervious to attacks by his adversaries and merciless in responding to them.
Trump is an oddity: a Republican president who stands up to the Left's defamations and brickbats and returns fire.
His prickly personality is one driving force; another is Twitter, the social media megaphone he uses to bypass the legacy media's censors..."

One Of Kavanaugh’s High School Classmates Is Suing HuffPost For ‘Fabricated’ Reporting | The Daily Caller
A former classmate of Justice Brett Kavanaugh sued HuffPost for defamation Wednesday, alleging that the liberal news site concocted a false story about their high school’s “party scene” as the Senate reviewed Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations of sexual misconduct.
The lawsuit accuses HuffPost and reporter Ashley Feinberg of publishing false information and failing to contact persons she implicated in a crime in a September 2018 article about Georgetown Preparatory School, where Kavanaugh was a student when he allegedly assaulted Ford in the early 1980s.

"Cheers and cries of pure joy erupted as the judge handed down the ruling in the world's first ever climate liability suit.
886 Dutch citizens, including teachers, entrepreneurs, grandparents and students united to sue their government for its inaction on climate change. In a decision likely to reverberate across the world, the court ordered the state to reduce emissions by 25% within 5 years to protect its citizens from climate change.
A HUGE congratulations to all involved, including Urgenda, the group that brought the suit on behalf of the citizens."
25 common sense truths that you’re no longer supposed to say
25 common sense truths that you’re no longer supposed to say"America is turning into such an intolerant, victim-centered, outrage-based, politically correct, that joke isn’t funny, how dare you hold an opposite opinion-centered culture, that a lot of people are afraid to tell you the truth anymore.
It’s easier for people to sometimes just keep their heads down and hope that the outrage mob will pick another victim.
But, unfortunately, when people become afraid to speak the truth, common sense can die in the darkness because everyone is caught up in saying what we’re “supposed to” believe instead.
1) All lives matter.
2) People wearing MAGA hats are risking far more to advance free speech and tolerance than most college professors do today.
3) Racism still exists, but it isn’t a serious impediment to anyone’s success in America like it used to be several decades ago.
4) Women make less money than men because they prefer less stressful work and take much more time off to raise kids.
5) You can’t be a good American if you don’t speak English..."

CNN Immediately Botches Facts On Trump Admin’s Move To Terminate Flores Settlement | The Daily Caller:
DHS officially announced the rule change during a scheduled 9:30 A.M. eastern press conference. Just under an hour later, CNN misled viewers of its cable programming by suggesting that the new policy meant children could be held in cages indefinitely. CNN anchor Jim Sciutto told viewers during the 10 am hour that the Flores agreement means families can be held a maximum of 20 days “in the facilities you see here.” The program then cut to a shot of an El Paso, Texas Border Patrol facility featuring migrants behind chain link fences and wearing foil blankets.

MSNBC Calls Republican's Belief in Only Two Genders 'Incendiary'
"MSNBC anchor Chris Jansing referred to a Louisiana Republican's belief that there are only two genders as "incendiary" on Friday.
..."We've got an important question now," Jansing told viewers.
"What does it mean to be a mainstream Republican? It is the question that some Republicans have been asking in the age of Donald Trump, and increasingly, it seems the answer might be to make incendiary comments about women and members of the LGBT community."
"In Louisiana, the Republican candidate for governor, Ralph Abraham, is out with a new TV ad this week making incendiary comments about gender," she added.

Ditch cars to meet climate change targets, say MPsBy Roger HarrabinBBC environment analyst22 August 2019People will have to get out of their cars if the UK is to meet its climate change targets, MPs say.The Science and Technology Select Committee says technology alone cannot solve the problem of greenhouse gas emissions from transport. It says the government cannot achieve sufficient emissions cuts by swapping existing vehicles for cleaner versions. The government said it would consider the committee’s findings. In its report, the committee said: “In the long-term, widespread personal vehicle ownership does not appear to be compatible with significant decarbonisation.”It echoes a report from an Oxford-based group of academics who warned that even electric cars produce pollution through their tyres and brakes.Read more: https://www.bbc.com/news/business-49425402

Lindsey Graham: Democrats ‘Can’t Have It Both Ways’ On Immigration Reform | The Daily Caller:

South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham criticized Democrats for their across-the-board opposition to immigration proposals by the Trump administration.
“Democrats can’t have it both ways,” the lawmaker tweeted Thursday. “They object to immigrant family separation because minors can only be held by [the Department of Homeland Security] for 20 days. But when [President Donald] Trump tries to keep families together for a period of time to adjudicate claims, they also object.”
