LA wildfires point to a long list of failures by California authorities | Blaze Media:
Los Angeles continues to be engulfed in flames as a number of wildfires raze various parts of the city.
As the destruction escalates, more and more information is surfacing about a number of failures on the part of California authorities.
The extent of the fires in LA were totally preventable, even considering the Santa Anna winds and the lack of removing tinder for the sake of the environment. - William Steiner
And it has nothing to do with climate change. - Scientists Skeptical of Anthropogenic Global WarmingIt was the politically correct and incompetent leadership of CA from Gov. Newsom, the mayor of LA, and the fire chief to be the cause.
2. CA had funds allocated to replace those dams at other locations 10 years ago and they have NOT been built.
3. Newsom would not allow for the clearing of dead brush buildup, creating a lot of tinder for fire.
2. She took 14 million of that an used it to create "green docks in the harbor."
3. She took some of that money to also create DEI training.
2. She replaced them with less qualified personnel based on race/gender.
3. She used a lot of money for DEI training.

The true narrative is quite simple: “Progressive government” has failed comprehensively in CA, which has been on a spiral into incoherence and incompetence since Gov. Pete Wilson left office at the end of 1998.

Some reporters and scientists are blaming climate change for the lack of rain in LA. It's ridiculous. There's no trend in annual rainfall from 1877 to 2024. We have wet years and dry years.
The Climate Agenda’s March Through the Institutions: Can It Be Stopped?
A spate of stories in the media recently provides a remarkable illustration of how the globalist policy agenda of the climate industrial complex has captured key international institutions and perverted their original organizational aims. - Tilak K. But there was nothing, at least nothing that I received.
On Tuesday when the winds picked up, I took some videos of my enormous Newfoundland dog, Hugo, sitting in the front yard, his fur blowing dramatically and his body standing firm even in 60 mph winds.
A few hours later I saw there were deadly fires in the Palisades, some 25 miles away, and felt badly for posting fun videos on Twitter, though not badly enough to take them down, since they were getting a lot of likes.
Around 6:30 I learned of a fire in Eaton Canyon, a few miles to my east. I learned of it on Twitter...

Environmentalism-Obsessed LA Doesn't Have Enough Water to Fight Fire Effectively
Environmentalism-Obsessed LA Doesn't Have Enough Water to Fight Fire Effectively:
“Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
“He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn’t work!), but didn’t care about the people of California. Now the ultimate price is being paid. I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to FLOW INTO CALIFORNIA! He is the blame for this. On top of it all, no water for fire hydrants, not firefighting planes. A true disaster!” the president-elect added.
Must read/view/listen to all! - Why summer drought or date of first rainfall in Southern California is meaningless wildfire climate fear mongering.
Anthony Watts | Facebook - Jim Steele Southern California’s vegetation primarily consists of 1-hour and 10-hour fuels that quickly adjust to moisture changes.
Fire experts consider the abundance of these fast drying fuels when posting red flag warmings!
Thus, as soon as the rains stop, the drying process begins.
Thus, as soon as the rains stop, the drying process begins.
Dead grass might become highly flammable within just 12 to 24 hours.
There are always many dry days to make 1-hour fuels highly flammable!
No need for climate change!
- Although Los Angeles’s rainy season begins in December thru February, it only averages 6 days with rain.
- There are 24 dry days during each winter month that will make the vegetation flammable whether the planet is warming or not.
It doesn’t matter if the first rains begin in November or January.
It doesn’t matter how long the natural summer drought lasts.
Furthermore, the winter rainy season coincides with the winter Santa Ana winds season.

The Santa Ana winds originate in the high dry deserts.
As the dry winds descend, they warm and dry further, drying the vegetation more.

After all that wealth of information, one reporter decided to challenge Trump about whether he would use military might against Canada.
REPORTER: Are you serious about making Canada the 51st state of the United States[..]. The leader of the Conservative Party of Canada said, 'Under no circumstances will Canada ever be the 51st state.' He stated that there is no way it would happen. Here's the full, unscripted moment. With Trump inauguration looming, Mexico takes action on migrants heading to U.S. border * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh:
Illegal migration has been one of the hallmarks of the Biden administration, with millions and millions crossing America's borders and entering, in violation of federal law, under his open borders agenda.
The impacts have been huge, with cities from Los Angeles to Denver to New York saddled with hundreds of millions of dollars in costs related to an exploding population of illegal aliens. Gang members have unleashed their crime waves.
Now Fox News is reporting the Mexican government "is working hard to break up migrant caravans trying to make the treacherous journey north to the U.S."
On Dec. 19, 2024, state pumping was reduced down to 5%-6% of capacity to protect smelt that "could be" migrating.

Did the Vegas Cybertruck bomber just reveal the secret behind the elusive drones? | Blaze Media:
Achilling story has emerged: A whistleblower, claiming to possess knowledge of advanced military technologies and covert operations, took his own life in a shocking explosion outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. He left behind a manifesto filled with claims so extraordinary they sound like science fiction. Yet if even a fraction of them prove true, the implications are staggering and demand immediate attention.
This whistleblower alleges that the United States and China developed “gravitic propulsion systems,” technologies that manipulate gravity itself to enable silent, undetectable flight at unimaginable speeds. According to his claims, these systems are not theoretical — they are operational, deployed both in the United States and China. If true, this would render conventional defense systems obsolete, fundamentally altering the global balance of power.
Biden's AG not just a liar, he makes it easy to prove he's a liar!-----Garland Uses Cops Who Died By Stroke, Suicides To Rewrite J6
Not a single Capitol police officer was killed on January 6, 2021, yet Attorney General Merrick Garland’s dishonest statement about the protest released Monday may have people thinking otherwise. - Brianna Lyman
“On this day, four years ago, police officers were brutally assaulted while bravely defending the United States Capitol. They were punched, tackled, tased, and attacked with chemical agents that burned their eyes and skin,” Garland said. “Today, I am thinking of the officers who still bear the scars of that day as well as the loved ones of the five officers who lost their lives in the line of duty as a result of what happened to them on January 6, 2021.”But not a single officer was killed by any January 6 defendants — which is perhaps why not a single defendant was charged with manslaughter or murder.
- Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes on Jan. 7 after suffering two strokes, according to the Washington D.C. chief medical examiner. Members of the propaganda press, however, spent weeks telling America that Sicknick was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher during the protest (I’m looking at you, New York Times). Other outlets like The Associated Press, BBC and USA Today repeated the egregious lie, as pointed out by my colleague Jordan Boyd.
- Four other officers died by suicide within months of the protest — including two officers who were not present for the actual protest...

“The US launching a preemptive strike on Iran. You said you don’t want to answer that,” a reporter asked Trump.
“I don’t talk about it. It’s military strategy,” Trump said.
The reporter pressed Trump: “But, it is a legitimate question.”
Trump lit up the reporter.
“Only a stupid person would answer. It’s a military strategy, and I’m not answering your questions on military strategy,” Trump said.
