Establishment's new name, Effin Bar & Grill, draws mixed comments from Dalton Township residents | MLive.com:
"DALTON TOWNSHIP, MI – The new name and a sign for a renovated bar on Holton Road was a hot topic at the Dalton Township Board of Trustees meeting Monday night, May 12.
Effin Bar & Grill’s name and sign drew a few complaints -- and one speech in support – during the public comments section of the meeting. 
Dalton Township resident Janice Niles invoked obscenity law and a township ordinance in a speech trying to convince the trustees that the sign was questionable from a legal standpoint.
Township Supervisor Chris Hall said earlier that the sign was within the rules.
“I don’t feel that that sign is promoting the moral standards of our community,” Niles said."
