"Joe Scarborough, co-host of “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, gave viewers a jarring reminder during Monday’s broadcast about the real roots of the rumors of President Obama and his Muslim beliefs – none other than Democratic White House hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Scarborough made the remarks while discussing Clinton’s criticisms of those who further the mantra of Obama’s Muslim ties and faiths – specifically, Donald Trump – to co-hose Mika Brzezinski and Bloomberg politics managing editor John Heilemann.
“It was rich this weekend,” Scarborough said, Breitbart reported, “for Hillary Clinton to come out and criticize anybody for spreading the rumors about Barack Obama when it all started with her, and her campaign, passing things around in the Democratic primary, rich.Now listen, the Republicans are wrong for doing what they’re doing.
It started, this started with Hillary Clinton and it was spread by the Clinton team.”

Brzezinski, meanwhile, added her two cents, speaking of the rumor actually originating with Clinton during a “60 Minutes” interview.
