"Mike Faulman, a longtime aide to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, has joined watch and luxury goods maker Shinola/Detroit LLC as the company prepares to launch eyewear manufacturing in the Windy City....The job title and details of what Faulman will do for Shinola in Chicago haven't been disclosed.
"I can confirm that Mike will be joining our brand team this fall and assisting with initiatives that we have planned for that region," a Shinola spokeswoman said via email Monday afternoon.
