"An Arizona State legislator is doing something no one has thus far had the courage to do at the federal level — he’s introduced legislation to ban the use of taxpayer money to fund overt social justice coursework in state schools.

Rep. Bob Thorpe, who represents a rural Arizona district and is a member of the state’s Government and Higher Education Committees, has introduced legislation that seeks to deny funding for class that “violates civil rights laws” or “promotes division or resentment”"
