"GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- As the fallout continues from a racial discrimination lawsuit involving Founders Brewing, the company’s diversity and inclusion director announced her resignation.
Graci Harkema posted on Facebook late Friday, Oct. 25 that she was resigning effective Nov. 8.
She posted the lengthy resignation letter the same day as Founders announced it was closing its Detroit tap room partly out of concern for employee safety and because of “recent events.”
Founders is receiving backlash this week after a leaked deposition from a racial-discrimination lawsuit against the company revealed a Founders general manager wouldn’t concede the black employee who filed the lawsuit is black...
