Trump and Musk exchanged cheap shots via posts on their social media platforms in June stemming from Musk's criticism of the reconciliation bill Trump signed into law on July 4. Kirk expressed hope the two of them would reconcile during the July 1 episode of "The Charlie Kirk Show."
