- Leaked lesson plans from a freshman education course at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign are blowing the lid off what students are actually being taught — and it’s not reading, math, or classroom management.

First-year education majors were trained to 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧𝗤+ 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬, 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗦 — instead of learning how to actually teach kids.
