Center for Medical Progress Releases Financial Documents That Allegedly ‘Demonstrate an Illegal Scheme’ by Planned Parenthood | TheBlaze.com:
"The Center for Medical Progress released financial documents Thursday that they say provide evidence that Planned Parenthood profited from the sale of aborted fetal body parts.
On Monday, a Texas grand jury indicted David Daleiden, the founder of the Center for Medical Progress, and Sandra Merritt for their roles in the release of controversial undercover videos of Planned Parenthood executives appearing to negotiate the price of aborted fetal body parts with actors portraying buyers from a human biologics company.
Both Daleiden and Merritt were indicted on charges of tampering with a governmental record, and Daleiden was additionally indicted for prohibition of the purchase and sale of human organs. No Planned Parenthood employees were indicted."

Man Jailed for Unregistered Cat
Man Jailed for Unregistered Cat - Hit & Run : Reason.com:
"File this under one way America's overcriminalization hasn't caught up to Canada's, at least: retired Quebec refrigeration technician Dan Smith is going to jail for failing to register his cat.
Under the law in Smith's hometown of Gatineau, Quebec, all cat owners must obtain proper documentation for their furry friends. Smith, however, insists the cat in question isn't his, but rather a feral cat that his estranged-wife would feed.
Nonetheless, Smith has accepted his fate, turning himself in to Gatineau police on Thursday morning, the Ottawa Sun reports.
"I want to get this over with," Smith said. "I’m turning myself in," Smith told a woman at the front desk of the station. "I’m surrendering."
Smith has been chased for months by animal control officers and police in Gatineau over a $276 charge — fine and court costs — after being found guilty last summer of not having a licence for a cat, as required under municipal bylaw.
Smith, however, says that "Winnie" isn’t his, and it’s feral anyway, and he doesn’t even live in Gatineau.
He says Winnie belongs to his estranged wife, with whom he still shares a Gatineau home even though he also has a place across the river in Vanier.
Smith says he bears no resentment against the animal.
Who Smith does blame is an overzealous SPCA officer and a Gatineau bylaw, which requires cats to be licensed, but doesn’t make a distinction for a feral cat such as Winnie.
The cat first showed up their door 12 years ago and stuck around because his wife kept feeding it, Smith says.
Smith opted to spend three days in jail rather than pay the $326 in fines and court fees he owes by this point.
"It’s the principle," he told the Sun. "Why should I pay a fine if I don’t own a cat?""

10 Reasons ESPN is MSNBC With Better Video
10 Reasons ESPN is MSNBC With Better Video:
ESPN is the latest on the dump Trump bandwagon.
The network is pulling its July 14 ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic from Trump National Golf Club over Donald Trump’s comments about Mexican illegal immigrants last month.
Except, of course, those who don’t want their favorite games served with a heaping side of lefty social commentary.
ESPN is the latest on the dump Trump bandwagon.
The network is pulling its July 14 ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic from Trump National Golf Club over Donald Trump’s comments about Mexican illegal immigrants last month.
The only surprise here is that it took ESPN so long to join NBCUniversal, Univision and Macy’s in punishing the billionaire GOP hopeful. ESPN, after all, is an exquisitely liberal outfit and has been for a long time – like MSNBC with cool video clips and catchphrases.
True to form, its statement about moving the golf tournament included fluffy boilerplate about “diversity” and “inclusion of all sports fans. Except, of course, those who don’t want their favorite games served with a heaping side of lefty social commentary.
To watch ESPN is to be reminded that liberal groupthink isn’t just a problem in “hard news” organizations.
Here are 10 reasons why.
Here are 10 reasons why.
- Courage for ‘Caitlyn’ –The Arthur Ashe Courage Award is going to ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner, beating out a double amputee Iraq vet who competes in Crossfit races and Dancing with the Stars.
- Sam the Sham – Gay football player Michael Sam’s NFL career went as far as his on-field talent could take him, but it wasn’t for a lack of cheerleading and highchair pounding from ESPN, which elaborately planned its broadcast of Sam kissing his partner.
- Lefty Bullpen – People are policy, and ESPN’ boasts toxic liberal blowhard Keith Olbermann, while ombudsman Robert Lipsyte hails from The New York Times and Mother Jones.
- The Race is to the Race-Obsessed – When St. Louis Rams players made the phony Hands-Up-Don’t-Shoot gesture before a game, ESPN’s Howard Bryant approved, while host Jemele Hill bemoaned “a mentality in our society that it’s ok to … kill black men period.”
- Foul (Corn)Ball – In 2012, Rob Parker wondered on First Take (with full knowledge of the show’s producers) if Redskins QB Robert Griffin III was a “brother or a cornball brother” (ie. sufficiently black).
- Drop the Mascot –Outside the Lines host Bob Ley compared the Washington Redskins’ name to slavery and Jackie Robinson, while Olbermann was predictably bombastic.
- Throw them to the Lions – When NBA player Jason Collins came out as gay, Chris Broussard said his faith taught him it was a sin. ESPN issued a corporate apology.
- Par for the Course – In 2011, PGA pro and analyst Paul Azinger tweeted “Potus has played more golf than me this month. I’ve created more jobs than him.” ESPN publicly rebuked Azinger.
- Hooking it Left – Pardon the Interruption hosts Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon played golf with Obama. Kornheiser recently attacked Marco Rubio for having been a gullible 8-yr-old.
- A) Rushing Offense – In 2003 Rush Limbaugh controversially said on NFL Sunday Countdown that the Eagles’ Donovan McNabb was overrated because the media wanted a black QB to do well. Rush resigned. ESPN accepted.
B) In 2009, when Rush joined a group interested in buying the St. Louis Rams, Wilbon said Rush “may be a straight up bigot” and called him “universally reviled by African-Americans.”

“I think America needs to know the truth about whether or not the situation was from a lack of training or something more,” he said. “Where did the Iranians intercept them? Did they intercept them with a superior force? Were they actually in Iranian territorial waters or were they in international waters?”

JOHN SCHINDLER: Why Hillary’s EmailGate Matters: In casually disregarding basic security, Secretary Clinton harmed our country and helped our adversaries.
"Her disregard wasn’t casual.
It was a conscious and involved scheme to avoid the Freedom of Information Act, and possibly also Obama Administration scrutiny of her actions.
She put the nation as a whole at risk, along with individual lives of intelligence sources, for political reasons: to avoid accountability."

HUMAN STUPIDITY KNOWS NO LIMITS
"The entire rationale for wind turbines is to stop global warming by reducing the amount of Co2 being returned to the atmosphere from the burning of fossil fuels.
In the attached picture, recently taken in Sweden, freezing cold weather has caused the rotor blades of a wind turbine to ice up bringing the blades to a complete stop.
To fix the "problem" a helicopter is employed (burning aviation fuel) to spray hot water (which is heated in the frigid temperatures using a truck equipped with a 260 kW oil burner) on the blades of the turbine to de-ice them.
The aviation fuel, the diesel for the truck, and the oil burned to heat the water, could produce more electricity (at the right time to meet demand) than the unfrozen wind turbine could ever produce. (Before it freezes up again).
The attached picture is a metaphor of the complete insanity of the climate change debate.
In decades to come this one photo alone with sum up an era of stupidity, when rational thought, logic and commonsense was abandoned and immense wealth and resources needlessly sacrificed."

University Academics Say Pedophilia Is ‘Natural, And Normal For Males To Be Aroused By Children’
University Academics Say Pedophilia Is ‘Natural, And Normal For Males To Be Aroused By Children’ - Supreme Patriot:
"An academic conference held at the University of Cambridge said that pedophilia interest is “natural and normal for males”, and that “at least a sizable minority of normal males would like to have sex with children, and normal males are aroused by children.”
These sentiments were discussed at a conference that took place last year to discuss the classification of sexuality in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of
Mental Disorders (DSM), the standard international psychiatric manual used by the legal system.
The conference, which was titled “Classifying Sex: Debating DSM-5″, had featured a number of speakers who spoke in favor of sex with children, which, in essence, is supporting pedophilia.
...One of the attendees, and enthusiastic participant, was Tom O’Carroll, a multiple child sex offender and long time campaigner for the legalization of sex with children and former head of the Paedophile Information Exchange. “Wonderful!” he wrote on his blog afterwards. “It was a rare few days when I could feel relatively popular!”"

Obama's Hug-A-Thug Policies Backfire In NYC, St. Paul Schools
Obama's Hug-A-Thug Policies Backfire In NYC, St. Paul Schools | Stock News & Stock Market Analysis - IBD:
As serious crimes in schools soar, teachers unions in New York and other cities are pushing back against new softer student conduct codes inspired by the president’s national anti-discipline strategy.
New York public schools are dealing with escalating classroom chaos after adopting minority-friendly discipline policies that the Education Department pushed to close so-called “racial disparities” in suspensions and expulsions.
Educrats have been threatening school districts with lawsuits and funding cuts wherever if finds disparities.
High-school kids are getting “warning cards” for offenses that normally would result in a criminal summons and suspension, such as drug possession and disorderly conduct.
Liberal New York Mayor Bill de Blasio says crime is down in the schools, but it’s not.
It’s just that schools are ignoring it.
The only thing that’s down is suspensions.
In fact, “Forcible sex offenses are up 69%, and assaults are up 40% in New York schools after de Blasio implemented the Obama administration’s policy of replacing suspensions with ‘restorative justice,’ a kind of talk therapy — even for serious offenses such as fighting, arson and assault,” former Education Department civil-rights attorney Hans Bader said.
“This type of turning your back on illegal behavior is grooming criminals,” complained the head of Teamsters Local 237, which represents New York school safety officers.
Meanwhile, in a shocking election, the St. Paul, Minn., teachers union led a campaign to oust the city’s liberal school board that has allowed unruly students to bully teachers and students.
Classroom violence in St. Paul is so bad that the 3,800-member union has threatened to call a strike until school safety’s restored.
...“There’s no consequences,” complained a veteran St. Paul high school teacher.
“We are teaching our kids it’s OK to disrupt the learning environment, and all they’ll get is a slap on the hand.”
Obama’s racial bean-counting is just making inner-city schools more dangerous.
And the biggest losers are minority kids who can’t afford to escape them.

UMass students can earn academic credit for building LGBTQA-themed electronic light displays
UMass students can earn academic credit for building LGBTQA-themed electronic light displays - The College Fix:
"Take some electrical engineering and throw in a little LGBTQA and what have you got? “Queer Lights.”
No, seriously.
It’s the newest class at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Students can earn academic credit for literally “building LGBTQA-themed electronic light displays.”
The 1-credit course, first reported on by The Liberty Standard, was announced Jan. 27 via the “Engineering E-News Letter.”
“‘Queer Lights’ will cast light on lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and asexual (LGBTQA) topics while the students in the class literally cast light–building LGBTQA-themed electronic light displays,” an online description of the course states.
“An engineering professor will teach the students how to create and program the displays, and the director of the Stonewall Center will lead the students in discussions about LGBTQA issues in the news and in their own lives.”
“Some of the topics to be covered include the intersections of racial and LGBTQA identities, the campus climate for LGBTQA students, and the legal and political rights of LGBTQA people today.”"

Kids' lead levels high in many Michigan cities
Kids' lead levels high in many Michigan cities
Across Michigan, in cities large and small, lead poisoning continues to plague children, limiting them in school and on the playground.
While much of the state’s focus on lead has rightly been on poisoned water in Flint, the metal continues to turn up annually in the bodies of thousands of children across the state, at percentages well above the numbers that raised red flags in Flint.
Elevated blood-lead levels are seen in a higher percentage of children in parts of Grand Rapids, Jackson, Detroit, Saginaw, Muskegon, Holland and several other cities, proof that the scourge of lead has not been eradicated despite decades of public health campaigns and hundreds of millions of dollars spent to find and eliminate it.
“This is still an issue. It’s not going away,” said Dr. Eden Wells, chief medical executive of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
Many in the state were shocked earlier this year by the findings in Flint: After a steady decline in lead levels, they began to rise in 2014 after the city switched its water source from Lake Huron to the Flint River. That change in water supply, experts say, triggered the increase in lead poisoning because the more corrosive river water may have stripped lead from older pipes and bled it into the drinking supply.
That uptick in Flint, noted by researchers, is what finally forced state officials to confront the dangers in the city’s water. Five percent of the Flint children tested had elevated levels of lead, though certain parts of the city had much higher percentages.
Now consider lead exposure rates in some other parts of Michigan:
■In Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park, 10 ZIP codes saw more than 10 percent of children tested have a positive test in 2014. That was nearly 1,000 of the 7,263 children tested, or 13.5 percent.
■In Grand Rapids, nearly 1 in 10 children of those tested in four ZIP codes tested positive in 2014.
■And in Adrian in south-central Michigan, more than 12 percent of the 640 children tested showed elevated levels of lead.
“We do have areas in our state and areas in our country where children are at risk,” Wells said.
