1666 - The Great Fire of London broke out. The fire burned for three days destroying 10,000 buildings including St. Paul's Cathedral. Only 6 people were killed.

"Many people would gladly have Katie Hopkins removed from TV shows.
The liberal British TV personality was part of The Apprentice, and made a shocking statement. Hopkins doesn’t really know how things work, and she better stop acting like an expert.
The liberal supports the euthanasia of old people, and her excuse is the lamest thing you will ever hear.
According to Hopkins, old people are nothing but a burden to society, and euthanasia is the only solution to her problem.
She even suggested that communities should have “euthanasia vans” that would roll across the country and collect elderly people. 
...“We just have far too many old people.
It’s ridiculous to be living in a country where we can put dogs to sleep but not people.
Euthanasia vans – just like ice-cream vans – that would come to you home. 
It would all be perfectly charming. 
They might even have a nice little tune they’d play. 
I mean this genuinely.
I’m super-keen on euthanasia vans.
We need to accept that just because medial advances mean we can live longer, it’s not necessarily the right thing to do,” Hopkins said..."

"We've written frequently over the past couple of months about the litany of unanswered questions surrounding the mysterious case of Debbie Wasserman Schultz's (DWS) IT staffers.  Why did DWS seemingly threaten the chief of the U.S. Capitol Policewith “consequences” for holding equipment that was confiscated as part of an ongoing legal investigation?  
Why did DWS keep Awan on her taxpayer funded payroll all the way up until the day he was arrested by the FBI at Dulles airport while trying to flee the country to Pakistan?  
What, if anything, does the Awan family know about the DNC hacks that may have caused DWS to act in this way?

Now, Andrew McCarthy III, the former assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York who led the prosecution against Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and eleven others for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, says there is "something very strange" about the recent indictment filed against Imran Awan and his wife Hina Alvi in the District of Columbia.

In a National Review article, McCarthy points out that it's not what's in the indictment that is necessarily surprising but rather what is seemingly intentionally omitted. 
For instance, McCarthy points out that "the indictment appears to go out of its way not to mention" that Imran was apprehended while in the process of fleeing the country, a fact that would seem to be the best evidence available to prove the fraud charges..."

She already has $3,000 in late penalties for three required reports on donations and expenditures that her committee never filed.
That means Scott is voting on a wide range of bills with the public having little or no way of knowing who funded her campaign..."

Back in April 2016, Obama Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, said that the black abolitionist hero would appear on a new version of the bill.
It would be the first time a woman has appeared on U.S. paper currency in over 100 years – and the first time ever for a black woman.
In a CNBC interview that aired Thursday, however, current Treasury leader Steven Mnuchin was asked whether he supports putting Tubman on the $20 bill.
He responded, “Ultimately we will be looking at this issue, [but] It’s not something that I’m focused on at the moment...”
