Seattle Green Jobs Program Gets $20M, Creates 14 Posts FoxNews.com
A green jobs program in one of America's greenest cities is being called a bust 16 months after a $20 million federal grant to weatherize homes in Seattle ended up putting just 14 people to work in mostly administrative jobs and upgrading only three homes in the area.

"The jobs are not there," Todd Myers, who wrote the book "Eco Fads," told Fox News.
"So we're training people for jobs that don't exist."

Seattle is not alone.
The Department of Energy has allocated $508 million to 41 states for its Better Buildings Neighborhood Program and 600 jobs have been created or retained.

• Delaying air pollution rules for utilities, preventing electricity price increases of as much as 24%.
• Stopping new EPA emission rules for boilers, cement and coal, possibly saving hundreds of thousands of jobs.
• Legislatively keeping the National Labor Relations Board from regulating the relocation of employers — a response to Boeing's wish to build its 787 Dreamliner in the right-to-work state of South Carolina.

Not a Race Card

Not a Race Card - Hans A. von Spakovsky - National Review Online
A number of states have recently passed voter-ID legislation — among them, Texas, Alabama, Kansas, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Rhode Island.
Two others, Georgia and Indiana, implemented such laws years ago.
This trend has the Left hyperventilating.

When every social ill is "caused" by right wing racists, every cry of racism is diminished.
This is good legislation intended to keep those who legally vote from disenfranchisement.
Those who shout racism are the enemies of our country.

Articles: Early Obama Letter Confirms Inability to Write
The response is classic Obama: patronizing, dishonest, syntactically muddled, and grammatically challenged. In the very first sentence Obama leads with his signature failing, one on full display in his earlier published work: his inability to make subject and predicate agree.

Obama at a loss

JOHNSON: Obama at a loss - Washington Times
When stock prices were plunging earlier this month, President Obama strode to the teleprompter and utterly failed to calm the markets or the American people.

Mr. Obama does not know what to do.
He never did.

Ouch.
Big time.

CURL: Why so glum, Michelle? - Washington Times
About 2½ years into her ceremonial stint as first lady, Mrs. Obama seems to have had quite enough of the gig.
More to the point, she doesn’t seem to have ever warmed to the second-fiddle slot as other first ladies before her did.
And even more than that, she doesn’t seem all that happy with the man she married 19 years ago.
