MSM sorta let this one slide. Didn't they?

Think before sex. Maybe save yourself an abortion AND breast cancer? What a concept! New study from China helps to prove the Abortion-Breast Cancer Link

The left's WAR ON WOMEN continues as they try to stifle the truth.
Another common sense, personal responsibility concept that is totally covered up by our despicable media.
Articles: New study from China helps to prove the Abortion-Breast Cancer Link:
"In the US we are used to abortion advocates claiming that the risk of elective abortion is relatively trivial, and major medical organizations denying any link between abortion and breast cancer.
Now a powerful new study from China published last week by Yubei Huang and colleagues suggests otherwise.
The article, a meta-analysis pooling 36 studies from 14 provinces in China, showed that abortion increased the risk of breast cancer by 44% with one abortion, and 76% and 89% with two and three abortions."

"The trouble with socialism......" Judge Rhodes: Detroit bankruptcy, filed in good faith, will continue

Judge Rhodes: Detroit bankruptcy, filed in good faith, will continue | Crain's Detroit Business:
"The city of Detroit is insolvent, and bankruptcy was a foregone conclusion - and should have been filed years earlier.
That was the opinion of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes, who ruled from the bench this morning that the largest public bankruptcy case in U.S. history will continue."

"What difference does it make....." Cartel Hangs 2 girls, 25 Missing In A Month

Cartel Hangs 2 girls, 25 Missing In A Month | Conservative Infidel Conservative Infidel:
"We might not hear much of it in our news but the cartel war has not died down in any way.
In the last month 25 girls have been abducted, recently two have been found hanging from a bridge Fresnillo Zacatecas after they were taken by the Gulf Cartel Gang.
There intent was to gather information on the Los Zetas, the girls had affiliations with the Zetas.

This fight is over territory the CDG is moving in on the Los Zetas and it is all about retaliation.
It is relevant to us because of the map.
These are border towns.
We know they have no value for human life and how close this is to some of our towns.
We need to make sure we inform each other of what is going on, since we can not count on anyone else to do so."

Maybe just a glitch. Or maybe treasury buys are sittin' on the sidelines-------Auction System Failure Forces US Treasury To Postpone 3, 6-Month Bill Auctions

Auction System Failure Forces US Treasury To Postpone 3, 6-Month Bill Auctions | Zero Hedge:
"While nobody is impressed by breaking equity and options markets anymore, since this has become a virtually daily ocurrence and the habituation level is high, bond markets, and especially the US government's "guaranteed" bond issuance machinery, are a different matter altogether.
Which is why any time something out of the ordinary happens, people pay attention.
Such as what happened moments ago when the US Treasury announced that it would delay the closing of the 3 and 6 month Bill auctions, originally scheduled to close today, to tomorrow.

The reason: "an error that occurred during a test of Treasury's auction system."

This is curious, as it implies there was a test of the system running concurrent with the actual bond auction. One wonders if instead of the stated reason, there simply wasn't yet another "glitch" with TAAPS, which as we reported in September, had an error due to an order by none other than Goldman Sachs, being stuck in the quere, for reasons unknown resulting in yet another abnormal 3 and 6 month Bill auction."

Not ALL the monkeys are in the zoo-------US lawsuit demands 'legal personhood' for chimpanzees

Obama has infamously said "I mean, I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money."
In this case.
With these Nonhuman Rights bozos, he may be right.
Even a blind squirrel.....
US lawsuit demands 'legal personhood' for chimpanzees - Telegraph:
"A US animal rights group has filed what it said is the first lawsuit seeking to establish the "legal personhood" of chimpanzees.
The non-profit Nonhuman Rights Project asked a New York state court to declare a 26-year-old chimp named Tommy "a cognitively complex autonomous legal person with the fundamental legal right not to be imprisoned.""

Lots of opportunity for "personal gain" here. Lots........Land Banks Profit By Cutting In Front of People Wanting To Buy Property

Another public-private "partnership" hidden in the shadows.
Land Banks Profit By Cutting In Front of People Wanting To Buy Property [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"In some cases in Michigan, land banks have scooped up property for the price of back taxes owed and resold it for the benefit of the land bank.
Taxpayers lose because the practice bypasses private sector buyers who may offer more money for the properties at a public auction."

Watch out folks, the taxman (and his trusty sidekick Ms. Spend-it-all) is comin' again! -----Muskegon County-wide technology millage proposal will be on Feb. 25 ballot

Hmmm, I think I can do that one in my head:
"$43 million per year "
10 years.
So you are telling us they're gonna take almost half a billion dollars, $430,000,000, from the taxpayers of Muskegon county and give to people to spend it on really-really-important-stuff-that-they-promise-will-make-kids-smart?!!!
And safe!!!
What greedy monster could possibly be against that.

The sad reality is that even though this is (it should read $43million...I hope!) a mistake, it wouldn't surprise me if it was really $430 MILLION.

Whatever the amount, taking more millions of hard earned dollars from the families and businesses of Muskegon and giving it to unaccountable bureaucrats with the same old promises, the same old lack of public accountability, is a bad idea.
Muskegon County-wide technology millage proposal will be on Feb. 25 ballot | MLive.com:
MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI -- It's official: Muskegon County voters will be asked in February to approve a county-wide tax increase to fund school technology and security improvements.
...The 10-year millage would raise an estimated $43 million per year, which would be distributed to the 11 traditional school districts on a per-pupil basis. It's estimated that schools would receive about $164 per student.
.......The millage would cost the owners of a home with a market value of $90,000, and a taxable value of $45,000, an additional $45 in property tax per year.

And even though they "oppose guns", you'll see theirs pointed at you to force you to comply with their theft----Why Liberalism Is On The Wrong Side Of History

Why Liberalism Is On The Wrong Side Of History - John Hawkins - Page full:
"The problem with that is not so much liberals living how they want to live; it's that liberals want to force everyone else to live how they want to live.
They don't like guns; so no one should have guns.
They like gay marriage; so everyone must be forced to like gay marriage.
They like PBS; so everyone should be forced to pay for PBS."

Think Detroit as an island "paradise"-----Puerto Rico, with at least $70 billion in debt, confronts a rising economic misery

Puerto Rico, with at least $70 billion in debt, confronts a rising economic misery - The Washington Post:
"SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Boxes and wooden crates filled with household items bound for the U.S. mainland are stacked high in the Rosa del Monte moving company’s cavernous warehouse, evidence of the historic rush of people abandoning this beautiful island.

The economy here has been in recession for nearly eight years, crimping tax revenue and pushing the jobless rate to nearly 15 percent.
Meanwhile, the government is burdened by staggering debt, spawning comparisons to bankrupt Detroit and forcing lawmakers to severely slash pensions, cut government jobs and raise taxes in a furious effort to avert default."

Must Read: "A Sailor's Dying Wish"

BLACKFIVE: [Updated] Must Read: "A Sailor's Dying Wish":
"Via our own Mr. Wolf, if you read one thing today, you should make it this piece from I Drive Warships...and have a box of tissues handy.

"After signing my Pop, EM2 Bud Cloud (circa Pearl Harbor) up for hospice care, the consolation prize I’d given him (for agreeing it was OK to die) was a trip to “visit the Navy in San Diego.”
I emailed my friend and former Marine sergeant, Mrs. Mandy McCammon, who’s currently serving as a Navy Public Affairs Officer, at midnight on 28 May.
I asked Mandy if she had enough pull on any of the bases in San Diego to get me access for the day so I could give Bud, who served on USS Dewey (DD-349), a windshield tour..."

But that's not exactly what happened.
Go to IDW and read about what the crew of the Dewey did for Bud Cloud.  "

Nixon vs Obama

Our government at war with its citizens-Why will Obama make it illegal to pay bone-marrow donors?

But Obama wants to force blood banks to pay for blood from homosexuals with high risk lifestyles.
Why it's OK to pay bone-marrow donors - Health - AEI:
"Now comes the bad news.
On Oct. 2, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services proposed a new rule that would overturn the Ninth Circuit’s decision.
The government proposes designating a specific form of bone marrow -- circulating bone-marrow stem cells derived from blood -- as a kind of donation that, under the 1984 National Organ Transplant Act, cannot be compensated.
If this rule goes into effect (the public comment period ends today), anyone who pays another person for donating these cells would be subject to as much as five years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
The problem with this rule is that donating bone marrow is not like donating an essential organ.
Indeed, the Ninth Circuit based its decision on the fact that modern bone-marrow procurement, a process known as apheresis, is more akin to drawing blood. "

Unintended consequences---Pilot use of automation eyed in air crashes

My Way News - Pilot use of automation eyed in air crashes:
"Pilots are becoming so reliant on the computer systems that do most of the flying in today's airliners that on the rare occasions when something goes wrong, they're sometimes unprepared to take control, according to aviation safety experts and government and industry studies."

Fascism=Government+Business colluding to screw you and me------Blues reap big savings by axing individual plans

Blues reap big savings by axing individual plans | Crain's Detroit Business:
"However, Blue Cross did not project losses in the individual market from 2014 to 2017 in its 2012 financial report.
Was that because Blue Cross knew it would drop many of those money-losing individual policies?"

"Payne, Paxton, Sternhell, et al. argue that while fascist economies share some similarities, there is no distinctive form of fascist economic organization.[2] Feldman and Mason argue that fascism is distinguished by an absence of coherent economic ideology and an absence of serious economic thinking. They state that the decisions taken by fascist leaders can not be explained within a logical economic framework. "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economics_of_fascism

"NZXT Panzerbox"- The 10 Worst Product Names in PC History

The 10 Worst Product Names in PC History | Digital Trends:
"NZXT Panzerbox
While many names are unfortunate or misleading, there are some that just make us scratch our heads and ask “what does that even mean?”
Such is the case with the NZXT Panzerbox, a squat computer case that was released in 2009.
Is it a box full of Panzers?
Is it supposed to be like the German tank of the same name?
Is it going to blitzkrieg the opposition?
Apparently no one could figure it out, because the the case was abandoned shortly after its release despite some impressive reviews from enthusiast websites like TechPowerUp.
Rest well, Panzerbox – whatever you were supposed to mean."

Ya think? Eligible for Medicaid? Many in Michigan face bureaucratic confusion

Eligible for Medicaid? Many in Michigan face bureaucratic confusion | Detroit Free Press | freep.com:
"Across Michigan, hundreds of thousands of residents who may be eligible for the state’s Medicaid expansion remain in frustrating, bureaucratic limbo — one that could push arguably affordable coverage out of their reach if they don’t get answers soon.

Those residents won’t know for sure until next year whether they’re eligible for an expanded Medicaid under the health reform law.
But for many, it could be too late to access tax credits now to make policies more affordable on the Michigan Health Insurance Marketplace, or state exchange."

Good God! We conservatives are quoting a dead democrat!

NBC’s Chuck Todd Notices One Small Phrase That Has Seriously Undercut the ‘Whole Idea of Government as a Solution’

And this liberal lapdog seems shocked at the concept!
NBC’s Chuck Todd Notices One Small Phrase That Has Seriously Undercut the ‘Whole Idea of Government as a Solution’ | Video | TheBlaze.com:
"Todd, appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” said of the “private sector” mention:
“That is an acknowledgement that,
‘You know what?
If this was a government operation for a long time and it failed, now we’re bringing in the private sector folks.’
I mean, that is an indictment on the whole idea of government as a solution, frankly…”"
