As the Daily Caller partly outlines - Secretary of the Treasury Jacob Lew, Obama’s former White House Chief of Staff, who was chief of staff when the illegal IRS/White House scheme was rolled out, took the emails and documents that were set to be released and now refuses to ever turn them over.
His rationale? Secretary Lew claims he cannot release information about improper disclosures of confidential taxpayer information – because, wait for it,…  that would be an improper disclosure of confidential taxpayer information.

PAUSE AND READ SLOWLY  Inherent in this position is the absolute admission the content of the documents, he is now refusing to turn over, contain illegally shared information from the IRS to the White House.

In order for Secretary Jack Lew to claim the content of the documents contain information illegal to share with the plaintiff he is admitting the content was originally, and similarly, illegal to share with the White House.

Back in the good old days when President Obama didn't have so many dings on his record, he promised that by 2015 there'd be more than 1 million electric cars on the road.
Well, with just days to go, he's only about 826,000 or so cars short of that goal.
Instead of 200,000 Nissan Leafs on the road today -- as Obama's Department of Energy predicted in 2011 -- there are less than 70,000.
And while Obama forecast 375,000 Chevy Volt sales by 2014, just a bit more than 71,000 have made it off the showroom floor.
Fisker, which was supposed to be selling 85,000 electric cars a year by now, went bankrupt last year.
......And so, after shoveling $8 billion in taxpayer money into electric cars, Obama quietly ended up ditching his 1 million goal late last year.

Many people have noted that the more insidious or corrupt a law or agency, the more positive sounding its name. The most egregious example during my lifetime, was naming legislation that stripped Americans of most of their civil liberties the “Patriot” Act.
In a similar vein, which red-blooded American could ever be opposed to something called the Small Business Administration (SBA). We all love small businesses and the entrepreneurial spirit, and even those who abhor big government have a hard time siding against an agency that supports the little guy. As such, the SBA is the perfect vehicle for cronyism, corruption and corporate welfare, which indeed appears to be its primary reason for existence.
My friends at Open the Books have published a key study on the SBA, and the results are ugly. The full report can be found here, but what follows is some analysis of the report by Stephen Moore at Investors Business Daily:
The Small Business Administration is under fire for lending billions of taxpayer dollars a year to exclusive country clubs, golf resorts, yacht clubs, pet resorts, upscale plastic surgeons, wineries and other businesses catering to the lifestyles of the very wealthy.
A new report by the federal spending watchdog OpentheBooks.com has uncovered these and other questionable loan activities by the SBA and its roughly $106 billion loan portfolio.
It’s the latest in a long history of hard-to-justify lending activities by a federal agency that proclaims its purpose is to “help Americans start, build and grow businesses.”
The SBA has come under attack for gross misallocation of funds and even potential fraud. A 2008 inspector general report found 1-in-4 SBA loans involved improper payments.

The shooting occured late Tuesday night at Pooh’s Corner located in the 6000 block of Virginia Avenue. Around 11p.m., three suspects walked into the bar and told everyone to get on the floor. At least one suspect had a gun. According to police, that suspect put the gun up to the head of the female customer and shot her. At that point, a city police officer, who was a patron at the time, pulled out his gun and shot the suspect.
Moments later, a shoot out began.
The three other customers who were shot, including the off-duty officer, have non-life threatening injuries. Police also say one suspect was shot in the eye.
The other two suspects fled the scene in a blue Dodge Magnum.
One of those suspects showed up at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. After claiming he had been shot at a different location, he admitted to being involved in the shooting at the bar.

Where were you when logic ceased to exist?  It’s been slipping away for many years but in the course of one week, major developments have sent it into an out of control tailspin. Does logic even have a place in today’s society?  The truth no longer matters.  Scientific, fact-based evidence has now been launched into the depths of an abyss.

There are pivotal moments; events which take place that are so shocking we forever remember where we were and what we were doing when we heard the news.  The Space Shuttle Challenger exploding shortly after takeoff was my first unbelievable moment.  President Reagan lifted the spirits of the American people.  He spoke of the heroes, the American dreamers who lost their lives, “…as they prepared for their journey and waved goodbye and "slipped the surly bonds of earth" to "touch the face of God."  The country was united.
