Ohio Judge Says He ‘Can’t Set a Bond High Enough’ to Illegal Immigrant Accused of Murder and Attempted Rape | TheBlaze.com:

"During the Friday hearing, Razo said with the help of an interpreter that he did not have a license, identification or passport. His also said his birth certificate is in Mexico.

“I have somebody who we don’t even know who he is, why he is in this country, why he is here illegally and why he allegedly committed a murder,” Cicconetti said.

Razo pleaded not guilty and will appear at a preliminary hearing on Monday, according to CNN.

The Latino grassroots organization HOLA attempted to shift the blame to Razo’s mental health instead of his immigration status, according to WKYC-TV."

Dead and Registered: Clarke County, MS, Sued for Having More Voters Than Live Citizens

Dead and Registered: Clarke County, MS, Sued for Having More Voters Than Live Citizens | PJ Media:
"Being dead may not necessarily disqualify you from voting this year in Mississippi.
That’s because some voter rolls in the Magnolia State contain more people registered to vote than people who are alive.
The dismal state of voter rolls in many Mississippi counties not only facilitates voter fraud, it violates federal law.
Take Clarke County, for example: according the United States Census, in March 2015 Clarke County had 12,646 registered voters — despite having a voting-age population of only 12,549.
That’s a registration rate of over 100 percent.
That’s not only implausible, it’s impossible...
Read on and learn how they will steal the election!

Who wins and loses under Obama's stricter power plant limits

My Way News - Who wins and loses under Obama's stricter power plant limits:
"President Barack Obama is mandating even steeper greenhouse gas cuts from U.S. power plants than previously expected, while granting states more time and broader options to comply...
LOSERS:
— YOUR POWER BILL
Although the administration predicts the plan will actually lower the average U.S. energy bill by almost $85 in 2030, companies that produce and distribute electricity aren't buying it.
The savings come from increased use of wind, power and hydro plants, which operate at a cost of close to zero after they're installed.
But acquiring and constructing renewable power sources is still very costly, making it less cost effective in many circumstances.
The National Association of Manufacturers, the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity, the National Mining Association, the American Energy Alliance and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association all predicted the rule would drive electricity bills up.

Kenya's President Did NOT Like What Obama Said To His Country And He Let The Whole World Know It

Kenya's President Did NOT Like What Obama Said To His Country And He Let The Whole World Know It:

“We do not want him to come and talk on homosexuality in Kenya or push us to accepting that which is against our faith and culture,” said Mark Kariuki, the key architect of the letter. Kariuki leads an alliance representing 38,000 churches and 10 million Kenyan Christians.

“The family is the strength of a nation. If the family is destroyed, then the nation is destroyed,” Kariuki said. “So we don’t want to open doors for our nation to be destroyed!”

Disturbing: A preview of WHAT #BlackLivesMatter has in store for the GOP convention

Disturbing: A preview of WHAT #BlackLivesMatter has in store for the GOP convention - Liberty Unyielding:
A few days ago, LU contributor Joe Newby reported on the threat from Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of Black Lives Matter, to “shut down the GOP convention.”
Now you’ll get to see, as Paul Harvey might say, the rest of the story.
About the time Joe was reporting on Cullors’s threat, the website 100%FedUp was posting an in-depth treatment of video footage from the Black Lives Matter protest at the NetRoots Nation gathering in Phoenix, the weekend of 18-19 July.
The previous coverage of this protest, aired in a few mainstream media outlets (e.g., MSNBC and NPR), focused on the stage area, where former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley, candidate for the Democratic nomination, was trapped in uneasy silence while the yelling occurred.  This MSM coverage showed very little (if any) of what’s in the floor-level video embedded in the 100%FedUp post.
100%FedUp describes it as follows:
In rarely seen angle on the Black Lives Matter mob takeover of a NetRoots Nation Presidential Town Hall last weekend in Phoenix, Arizona, activists from the group scream explicit calls for violence and chaos, using an Occupy Wall Street style call-and-response technique to advocate “burn everything down,” “shut this sh** down,” and “rise the f**k up.”
Here is the video, which has captions so you can follow the “human microphone” shouting.  (100%FedUp has a useful companion commentary to go with it.)
Here, for contrast, is a longer video covering the entire protest sequence, from the more widely-used camera-pointed-at-the-stage perspective.  (It’s worth watching partly for the interpolated tweets from the townhall audience, a veritable pageant of White Guilt.)
If you never thought you’d feel a little twinge of sympathy for O’Malley, see how the incident strikes you...
But there’s more here than meets the eye.
There’s no question the Black Lives Matter group, and others from the radical protest network, can get to the GOP convention next year in significant numbers, and will be able to make some kind of ruckus.
They’ve been going from one incident to another for the last couple of years, showing up in both Ferguson, Missouri and Baltimore, for example (as well as in the major cities where “sympathetic protests” have been organized).
Cullors and her fellow leaders of Black Lives Matter joined other protest groups from Ferguson in an obligatory trip to the West Bank and Gaza in early 2015 as well.
Basically, they’re strapped in with the usual-suspect radical network that hops from one protest spot to another, funded by George Soros
They use the human-microphone tactic popularized in the Occupy protests (also heavily subsidized by Soros), and display the same sentiments about civil disruption as Occupy-protest trainer Lisa Fithian (“St. Louis is going down too”), who takes pride in “having no issue with property destruction.”
As Patrisse Cullors’s threat indicates, the traveling radical road show that has fomented unrest around America in the last couple of years has its sights on the Republican National Convention in 2016.
It will undoubtedly target the Democratic convention as well..."

Boy Scouts -- LGBT Counselors Ban Lifted

Boy Scouts -- LGBT Counselors Ban Lifted | National Review Online
The Scouts, however, included a necessary exemption for church-sponsored troops — allowing them to set their own policies.
This displeased the lords of political correctness.
Here’s the Human Rights Campaign’s Chad Griffin:
"Including an exemption for troops sponsored by religious organizations undermines and diminishes the historic nature of today’s decision.
Discrimination should have no place in the Boy Scouts, period."
Yet if the church-sponsored troops pull out of scouting, the BSA would collapse.
In many jurisdictions — including scouting’s most healthy and vibrant — church-sponsored groups dominate.
I know of multiple local troops that would sooner close shop (or explore alternative affiliations) than violate their deeply-held values.
But the HRC and the rest of the LGBT Left doesn’t care.
It would rather destroy scouting than see it maintain its culturally and religiously conservative heritage.
Already the Mormon church — which is heavily involved in the scouting community — is expressing concern:

Dramatic Footage: How Venezuelans Get Milk Powder

Dramatic Footage: How Venezuelans Get Milk Powder | Zero Hedge:
It's been a sad week for Venezuela.
First, on Wednesday we showed what happens to local supermarkets when formerly Latin American paradises run out of other people's money.
Then, the next day we showed what happens when in the aftermath of scenes such as the one above the social mood turns violent, and how what was once supposed to be a socialist utopia paradise ends uplooking like a warzone.
Today we show how the local population is forced to act like stampeding animals when it comes to obtaining even the most basic of staples, in this case milk powder.
The clip below speaks for itself.

How High Are Gas Taxes in Your State?

How High Are Gas Taxes in Your State? | Tax Foundation:
"This week’s tax map takes a look at state gasoline tax rates, using data from a recent report by the American Petroleum Institute.
Pennsylvania has the highest rate of 51.60 cents per gallon (cpg), and is followed closely by New York (45.99 cpg), Hawaii (45.10 cpg), and California (42.35 cpg).
On the other end of the spectrum,
Alaska has the lowest rate at 12.25 cpg, but New Jersey (14.50 cpg) and South Carolina (16.75 cpg) aren’t far behind.
These rates do not include the additional 18.40 cent federal excise tax."

Obama rule for power plants to compel steeper emissions cuts

My Way News - Obama rule for power plants to compel steeper emissions cuts:
"Aiming to jolt the rest of the world to action, President Barack Obama moved ahead Sunday with even tougher greenhouse gas cuts on American power plants, setting up a certain confrontation in the courts with energy producers and Republican-led states.
In finalizing the unprecedented pollution controls, Obama was installing the core of his ambitious and controversial plan to drastically reduce overall U.S. emissions, as he works to secure a legacy on fighting global warming.
Yet it will be up to Obama's successor to implement his plan, which has faced steep Republican opposition from Capitol Hill to the 2016 campaign trail.
Opponents planned to sue immediately, and to ask the courts to put the rule on hold while legal challenges play out.
Many states have threatened not to comply.
The Obama administration estimated the emissions limits will cost $8.4 billion annually by 2030.
The actual price won't be clear until states decide how they'll reach their targets.
But energy industry advocates said the revision makes Obama's mandate even more burdensome, costly and difficult to achieve."

The Worst Expansion Since World War II Was Even Weaker

The Worst Expansion Since World War II Was Even Weaker - Real Time Economics - WSJ
The economic expansion—already the worst on record since World War II—is weaker than previously thought, according to newly revised data.
From 2012 through 2014, the economy grew at an all-too-familiar rate of 2% annually, according to three years of revised figures the Commerce Department released Thursday. That’s a 0.3 percentage point downgrade from prior estimates.
The revisions were released concurrently with the government’s first estimate of second-quarter output.
Since the recession ended in June 2009, the economy has advanced at a 2.2% annual pace through the end of last year.
That’s more than a half-percentage point worse than the next-weakest expansion of the past 70 years, the one from 2001 through 2007.
While there have been highs and lows in individual quarters, overall the economy has failed to break out of its roughly 2% pattern for six years..."

Remember the Seattle CEO Who Raised All Salaries to $70K, Here's What Happened Next...:

"Back in April we told you about Dan Price, CEO of Gravity Payments, who said he would pay every single one of his employees $70,000 annually.

Every single one, from the lowest skilled workers on up.

Now, as expected, Price has fallen on hard times financially, even having to rent out his own home.

Employees who work for Gravity are now leaving the company, “spurred in part by their view that it was unfair to double the pay of some new hires while the longest-serving staff members got small or no raises.”

This was always going to be the outcome.
If everyone hits the jackpot, does anybody really win the lottery?"

The film, which is scheduled to be released on January 16, the beginning of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend, offers a minute-by-minute look at the actions of six American security operators who defied orders and attempted to thwart the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.

Social Security Bankruptcy -- The Government Knows It's Coming

Social Security Bankruptcy -- The Government Knows It's Coming | National Review Online
While engaging in the mundane task of gathering financial statements for a “secure retirement” meeting with my husband’s and my adviser, this Baby Boomer stumbled upon documented proof that our nation does not have the guts to confront one of its most serious economic problems.
The realization came when I pulled from my files a document statement innocently titled, “Your Social Security Statement.”
At first glance, the statement did not appear menacing.
I was told I could expect to receive a benefit of “about $2,136 a month” upon reaching age 70 — which certainly seems like good news.
But immediately I thought of a parallel of President Obama’s infamous Obamacare promise: “If you like your Social Security, you can keep your Social Security.”
Then, as if on cue, I saw an asterisk with the following message:
The law governing benefit amounts may change because, by 2033, the payroll taxes collected will be enough to pay only about 77 percent of scheduled benefits.
...This impending “benefit rationing,” reducing my future financial “security” by $492 a month, may, in fact, not be the worst of it.

BREAKING: Obama's Military Makes Sick Move Against Navy Officer Who Shot Muslim Attacker

BREAKING: Obama's Military Makes Sick Move Against Navy Officer Who Shot Muslim Attacker:

"Just like many other Americans, West wondered how in the world this could take place. The answer can only be found in Obama’s “leadership.”

In one of his columns, West suggested that it seemed the military would “prefer that Abdulazeez had been able to kill all the Marines and sailors at the Naval Support Reserve Center.” Given the charges being brought against White, it would certainly appear to be true."

'Cool kids' can go on to become losers in later life, study finds

'Cool kids' can go on to become losers in later life, study finds - Health News - Health & Families - The Independent:
"Being the "cool kid" might seem ideal at school but it can land you in difficulties later on in life, according to a new study.
The work, "Whatever Happened to the Cool Kids?", was published in the journal Child Development by researchers at the University of Virginia, and looked at the lives of more than 180 teenagers in America over a decade.
But the results might not be to the liking of those who want to rule the roost at their schools.
According to the study, teenagers who tried to act cool and were popular during their younger years had a higher risk of experiencing problems as adults, including alcohol and drug abuse, and becoming involved in crime.
So 'cool teens' - made popular in films by characters such as James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause and Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls - may go on to lose out.
Professor Joseph Allen, professor of psychology at the University of Virginia, said: “It appears that while so-called cool teens’ behaviour might have been linked to early popularity, over time, these teens needed more and more extreme behaviours to try to appear cool, at least to a sub-group of other teens,” the Daily Mail reports.
“So they became involved in more serious criminal behaviour and alcohol and drug use as adolescence progressed.
“These previously cool teens appeared less competent – socially and otherwise – than their less cool peers by the time they reaches young adulthood...”

On the verge of the unthinkable

Articles: On the verge of the unthinkable
Can we stop this deadly Iran deal?

...Second, even if Congress is able to override Obama’s veto, we cannot stop the full scope of the deal from going into effect.
As John Bolton explained during an interview on Fox News, because Obama partnered with European nations, they will still honor the deal irrespective of our actions.
Obama intentionally surrendered our sovereignty to Europe.
And that doesn’t even take into account Russia or China.
According to Bolton, all Congress can do is stop Obama from lifting sanctions.
And if that happens, it triggers a clause in the deal that releases Iran from its responsibilities with respect to nuclear agreements.
To the latter point, I’m not convinced it means much.
There’s no reason to think Iran would uphold its end of the bargain no matter what the circumstance. Nor am I convinced the deal allows the West any meaningful ability to monitor Iran’s behavior. More importantly,
I have no confidence the West would take action against Iran even if they did catch Iran breaking its end of the bargain.
Quite the opposite.
...How surreal it is to type these words.
We are writing, reading, talking, screaming, raging, witnessing, and fearing our country becoming an enabler of the largest state sponsor of terror in the world.
That we are on the verge of helping a nation that wants to destroy us, acquire the weapons to do so.
That we are aligning ourselves with the 21st century Hitler.
And that we must take action -- no less fight a nearly impossible fight -- to curb this descent into evil, madness, and hell.

What’s happening to this heroic Navy officer from the Chattanooga shooting will make your blood BOIL

What’s happening to this heroic Navy officer from the Chattanooga shooting will make your blood BOIL - Allen B. West - AllenBWest.com:
"As reported ten days ago by Western Journalism, “A Navy officer and Marine reportedly returned fire at the shooter who killed five service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., even though current policy does not permit military members to carry firearms on facilities such as those where the attack occurred.
The cold-blooded assault killed four Marines and one active-duty Navy reservist.
The center’s commanding officer, Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White, used his personal firearm to engage the shooter during the attack, according to sources quoted in the Navy Times.
A report from The Washington Post said that one of the Marines killed in the shooting might have been carrying a 9 mm Glock and possibly returned fire on the shooter.
At the time, Western Journalism wrote, Lt. Cmdr. White could face disciplinary action for violating policy about possessing a weapon on the facility that was supposedly a gun-free zone.
The investigation into the attack is ongoing, and authorities will not know if White or the Marine hit the shooter until an autopsy and a ballistics report have been completed.
Ladies and gents, resulting from the text message I received yesterday, I can confirm that the United States Navy is bringing charges against Lt. Cmdr Timothy White for illegally discharging a firearm on federal property."

Steyn: Trump's Rise Shows GOP Base 'Absolutely Hates' Leadership

Steyn: Trump's Rise Shows GOP Base 'Absolutely Hates' Leadership - Breitbart:
"Columnist and author of “The Undocumented,” Mark Steyn said Donald Trump’s rise in the polls shows “the voter base of the Republican Party absolutely hates the Republican Party leadership and establishment” on Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto.”
Steyn stated, “Sen. Rand Paul says this is temporary insanity on the part of whatever it is, 20-something percent of the Republican base.
I think it was Einstein who said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again, and expecting a different result, and the base supported the Republican Party establishment, delivered them a huge victory in 2010 in the House, and a huge victory in the House and Senate in 2014, and got nothing to show for it.
And they’re tired of getting stiffed by the Republican Party establishment.
And I think Trump’s rise in the poll, reflects actually nothing more sophisticated than the fact that the voter base of the Republican Party absolutely hates the Republican Party leadership and establishment.”
...Steyn also argued that Trump’s handling of some of his misstatements is “actually a lesson for other candidates, too.
You know, the strangulated, constipated artificiality in which the candidates talk about things, where they say something mildly infelicitous, and then some spokesperson comes out and regrets that they misspoke.
Trump basically does nothing but misspeak, and he never apologizes for it.
Even the Hispanics don’t seem to mind him saying that Mexicans are just a bunch of rapists.”"

From BI:
When Dan Price, founder and CEO of the Seattle-based credit-card-payment processing firm Gravity Payments, announced he was raising the company’s minimum salary to $70,000 a year, he was met with overwhelming enthusiasm.
“Everyone start[ed] screaming and cheering and just going crazy,” Price told Business Insider shortly after he broke the news in April.
But in the weeks since then, it’s become clear that not everyone is equally pleased.
Among the critics?
Some of Price’s own employees.
...“He gave raises to people who have the least skills and are the least equipped to do the job, and the ones who were taking on the most didn’t get much of a bump,” she told The Times.
A fairer plan, she told the paper, would give newer employees smaller increases, along with the chance to earn a more substantial raise with more experience.

Dan Price, 31, tells the New York Times that things have gotten so bad he’s been forced to rent out his house."
