Barack Obama Just Gave America a Dire Warning... and It's Great News for Muslims Everywhere:

"Earlier this week, President Barack Obama warned his administration to prepare for the arrival of an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees during the next fiscal year, which begins on Oct. 1. This would bring the total number of refugees slated to enter into the United States in 2016 up to 75,000.

According to CNN, Secretary of State John Kerry wants to raise the 75,000 cap to an even higher number, perhaps as high as 100,000 or more."

California Will Give Free Diplomas To Kids Who Flunked Out

California Will Give Free Diplomas To Kids Who Flunked Out | The Daily Caller: "
The state of California is poised to award thousands of high school degrees to dropouts by passing a new law retroactively removing the requirement to pass a high school exit exam.
The California High School Exit Exam (CASHEE) was created in 2004, and is intended to make sure that students have a rudimentary grasp of English and mathematics before being awarded a high school diploma, and to counter the phenomenon of students receiving passing grades while learning almost nothing.
The test is hardly complex.
The math test, for instance, only covers 8th grade-level material and can be passed if students answer 55 percent of questions correctly.
About 80 percent of California high schoolers take and pass it on their first try while in the 10th grade, and overall passage rates for the class of 2014 were above 97 percent.
But now, a bill passed Thursday by the California legislature, which Gov. Jerry Brown is expected to sign, suspends the exam through 2018, while also retroactively suspending it back to 2004.
That means thousands of students who failed to ever pass the exam but otherwise completed all other requirements will now be able to receive diplomas."

Iran says finds unexpectedly high uranium reserve

Iran says finds unexpectedly high uranium reserve - Yahoo News Canada:
"DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran has discovered an unexpectedly high reserve of uranium and will soon begin extracting the radioactive element at a new mine, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation said on Saturday.
The comments cast doubt on previous assessments from some Western analysts who said the country had a low supply and would sooner or later would need to import uranium, the raw material needed for its nuclear program.
Any indication Iran could become more self-sufficient will be closely watched by world powers, which reached a landmark deal with Tehran in July over its program.
They had feared the nuclear activities were aimed at acquiring the capability to produce atomic weapons - something denied by Tehran.
"I cannot announce (the level of) Iran's uranium mine reserves.
The important thing is that before aerial prospecting for uranium ores we were not too optimistic, but the new discoveries have made us confident about our reserves," Iranian nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi was quoted as saying by state news agency IRNA."

Germany's Muslim Demographic Revolution

Germany's Muslim Demographic Revolution:
  • The surge in Germany's Muslim population — propelled by a wave of migration unprecedented since the Second World War — represents a demographic shift of epic proportions, one that critics of the country's open-door immigration policy warn will change the face of Germany forever.
  • "There are 20 million refugees waiting at the doorstep of Europe." — Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations.
  • According to Aiman Mazyek, head of the Central Council of Muslims in Germany, attendance at many mosques has doubled in the past month alone.
  • A large number (40%) are from countries in the Balkans, including Albania and Kosovo. This implies that nearly half of those arriving in Germany are economic migrants, not refugees fleeing war zones. — Thomas De Maizière, German Interior Minister.
  • Muslim men residing in Germany routinely take advantage of the social welfare system by bringing two, three or four women from across the Muslim world to Germany, and then marrying them in the presence of an imam. Once in Germany the women request social welfare benefits, including the cost of a separate home for themselves and for their children, on the claim of being a "single parent with children." — From an exposé broadcast by RTL television.
  • "For us today, what is at stake is Europe, the lifestyle of European citizens, European values, the survival or disappearance of European nations, and more precisely formulated, their transformation beyond recognition. Today, the question is not merely in what kind of a Europe we would like to live, but whether everything we understand as Europe will exist at all." — Viktor Orbán, President of Hungary.
Germany's Muslim population is set to skyrocket by more than 700,000 in 2015, pushing the total number of Muslims in the country to nearly 6 million for the first time.

The surge in Germany's Muslim population — propelled by a wave of migration unprecedented since the Second World War — represents a demographic shift of epic proportions, one that critics of the country's open-door immigration policy warn will change the face of Germany forever.

Some 20 Percent Of Illegal Immigrants Caught At The Border Have Criminal Records | John Hawkins' Right Wing News

Some 20 Percent Of Illegal Immigrants Caught At The Border Have Criminal Records | John Hawkins' Right Wing News:

"If nothing else, Donald Trump deserves credit for cutting through the politically-correct fog that had settled onto the immigration issue by noting that a large number of the illegal aliens coming across the border were criminals. While the elites gasped at so vulgar a statement, citizens of states like Texas, where illegals have committed more than 600,000 crimes since 2009, were refreshed that finally, someone in politics was willing to call a spade a spade."

Shocking report: Immigrant welfare use is WAY worse than you thought

Shocking report: Immigrant welfare use is WAY worse than you thought - Allen B. West - AllenBWest.com:
ebt-spanish"As we open the floodgates to immigrants (legal or not) along with tens of thousands of refugees, that big sucking sound you hear is taxpayer money going to fund entitlement programs like welfare and food stamps.
Breitbart reports an astonishing 62 percent of illegal immigrant-headed households participated in at least one welfare program in 2012, compared to 30 percent of native-headed households.
While there are restrictions on immigrant welfare use, the report highlights that such bars have not been particularly effective due to a wealth of exceptions.
“[T]hese restrictions do not prevent immigrant households from making extensive use of welfare programs because restrictions often apply to only a modest share of legal immigrants at any one time, some programs are not restricted, there are numerous exceptions and exemptions, and some provisions are entirely unenforced.
Equally important, immigrants, including those illegally in the country, can receive welfare on behalf of their U.S.-born children,” the report explains.
Notably, immigrants admitted to the U.S. as refugees are immediately eligible for welfare, Steven Camarota, the author of the report and CIS’ research director, explained in an interview with Breitbart News..."

Can red wine and chocolate really stave off Alzheimer's disease?

Can red wine and chocolate really stave off Alzheimer's disease? | New Scientist:
"A study suggests that a chemical in dark chocolate and red wine can slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.
But how conclusive is the data, and does this mean we should all drink more wine?
New Scientist looks at the evidence.
Found in grapes, red wine and dark chocolate, many claims have been made about resveratrol.
It has been touted as a potential panacea for a range of age-related disorders, including cancer, diabetes and neurological problems, but so far most of the data supporting these claims has come from lab studies and work in animals.
There have been only a few, small studies in humans.
...Does this mean we should drink more wine?
“You can’t possibly consume enough resveratrol from food sources to reach the doses that were used in the study,” says James Hendrix, a scientist with the US charity Alzheimer’s Association.
Turner estimates someone would have to drink 1000 bottles of red wine a day to even come close...

A ‘Puppy Cat’ Named Marley

A ‘Puppy Cat’ Named Marley:
Marley’s pet parent says this cat is the best dog he’s ever had.

"Marley is a 14-year-old orange and white cat out of Westfield, Indiana.
So far nothing out of the ordinary, right?
But this cat is a little bit dog, walking on a leash and responding to his owner Stephen Miller’s commands to sit, shake and high-five.
Marley likes rides in the car, sitting up front with Miller and even seemingly enjoying the roundabouts, WTHR reports.
Miller told WTHR that Marley "is a puppy cat.
Half dog, half cat.
He's the best dog we have ever had."
Like a lot of dogs, this cat is often approached by children when he’s out for a walk.
One little girl who met Marley at the Cool Creek Nature Center said, "Can he come to our house?
We don’t got a kitty.
We’ve only got a dog.”
The kids get especially excited when they see Marley riding in the swing.
Who knows if Marley actually enjoys being pushed on the swing set, but Miller told WTHR he could tell Marley liked it because "he didn’t jump out.

Why we're talking about two horn-dogs, but not a coven of liars and thieves-----Lansing's assessor says Senate drastically overpaid for building owned by Republican donor

Lansing's assessor says Senate drastically overpaid for building owned by Republican donor - WXYZ.com:
"LANSING (WXYZ) - The Michigan Senate drastically overpaid for new office space purchased from a poltically-connected developer, according to Lansing's assessor of record.
William Fowler told Channel 7's Ross Jones that the $41 million purchase price isn't supported by the current real estate market in downtown Lansing.
"Based on everything you know, is this building anywhere near worth $41 million?" asked Channel 7's Ross Jones.
"Not in today’s market," Fowler said, calling the sales price "three times greater than anything that has sold downtown of comparable use."
Fowler says that his office currently has Capitol View assessed at about $12 million, a figure he says is closer to what it’s actually worth.
Were it to be built brand new today, his office estimates it would cost just under $22 million.
Fowler says his office won’t use Capitol View’s sale price as a benchmark for assessing other properties downtown.
The building has been dubbed the "Capitol View boondoggle" by Democratic lawmakers, and even though the project was pushed through by Republicans leadership, even many Republicans have a hard time defending the purchase.
"I don't think anybody's excited about it," said Rep. Al Pscholka (R-Stevensville). "I don't think anybody likes it."
But like it or not, barring some last-minute maneuver, Michigan taxpayers will be on the hook to pay for all of it: $41 million for the building, as much $10 million to fix it up and, when you add on 30-years of interest, a total cost of about $134 million.
It’s a much steeper price than just fixing-up the current senate offices, pegged at only $25 million.
But the top man in the Senate last year, Sen. Randy Richardville (R-Monroe), said that the previous building wasn’t secure enough.
Instead, he committed your tax dollars to a building owned by an influential republican donor Ron Boji.
His bid beat out three others..."
