HARVARD BOUND Pot Smoking, Twerking, Malia Obama At "Rowdy" Party Busted By Cops On Martha's Vineyard...Barack Is "Furious" With Party Girl » 100percentfedUp.com:
"Being caught by the press openly smoking pot and twerking at Lollapalooza were the least of Malia Obama’s problems after it was just discovered the criminal record of the thug friend she was caught hanging out with in Chicago. Her right-hand man who was seen partying by her side and taking drags off her joint isn’t exactly the person you would want your daughter hanging out with,"

Zika can infect adult brain cells, not just fetal cells, study suggests
Zika can infect adult brain cells, not just fetal cells, study suggests - The Washington Post:
"The more researchers learn about the Zika virus, the worse it seems.
A growing body of research has established that the virus can cause severe birth defects — most notably microcephaly, a condition characterized by an abnormally small head and often incomplete brain development.
The virus also has been linked to cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome in adults, a rare autoimmune disorder that can result in paralysis and even death.
Now, in a study in mice, researchers have found evidence that suggests adult brain cells critical to learning and memory also might be susceptible to the Zika virus.
“This was kind of a surprise,” Joseph Gleeson, a professor at Rockefeller University and one of the authors of the study published Thursday in the journal Cell Stem Cell, said in an interview.
“We think of Zika health concerns being limited mostly to pregnant women...”"

Taxes Up $4.3 Million, State Money Down $200K: So Who 'Compromised' Services?
Taxes Up $4.3 Million, State Money Down $200K: So Who 'Compromised' Services? [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"Revenue sharing payments from the state of Michigan to the city of Jackson were $219,300 lower in 2015 than in 2010.
But Jackson’s overall annual tax revenues grew by $4.3 million over the same period, including $2.3 million more from its city income tax.
The decline of $220,000 in state revenue sharing funds, though, was the subject of a recent public meeting in Jackson hosted by a statewide local government lobbying organization called the Michigan Municipal League.
The MML is trying to make an issue out of state revenue sharing payments as part of a pitch for municipalities to get more.
The MLive news site published an article on the meeting it called, “State revenue sharing system is ‘broken,’ city leaders say.”
The story did not mention that Jackson’s overall revenue has increased faster than the rate of inflation from 2010 to 2015.
The city’s total revenues grew from $35.4 million in 2010 to $39.7 million in 2015, which is a 3 percent increase when adjusted for inflation.
(The 2010 budget would be equivalent to $38.5 million in 2015 dollars, or $1.2 million less than what Jackson actually did take in last year).
The city has seen increases in overall tax revenues despite having a high proportion of low-income residents.
Jackson’s median household income was $27,342 from 2010 to 2014 (the statewide average is around $48,000) and its poverty rate is 36.7 percent..."

"“I did it my way,” crooned Sinatra.
Donald Trump is echoing Ol’ Blue Eyes with the latest additions to his staff.
Should he lose, he prefers to go down to defeat as Donald Trump, and not as some synthetic creation of campaign consultants.
“I am who I am,” Trump told a Wisconsin TV station, “It’s me. I don’t want to change. … I don’t want to pivot. … If you start pivoting, you are not being honest with people.”
The remarks recall the San Francisco Cow Palace where an astonished Republican, on hearing the candidate speak out in favor of “extremism in the defense of liberty,” blurted out, “My God, he’s going to run as Barry Goldwater!”
And so he did.
And Goldwater is remembered and revered by many who have long forgotten all the trimmers of both parties who tailored their convictions to suit the times, and lost.
Trump believes populism and nationalism are the future of America, and wants to keep saying so. Nor is this stance inconsistent with recapturing the ground lost in the weeks since he was running even with Hillary Clinton.
The twin imperatives for the Trump campaign are simple ones.
While the assignment is simple, as Ronald Reagan reminded us, there may be simple answers, but there are no easy ones.
What is the case against Clinton his campaign must make?

Trump believes populism and nationalism are the future of America, and wants to keep saying so. Nor is this stance inconsistent with recapturing the ground lost in the weeks since he was running even with Hillary Clinton.
The twin imperatives for the Trump campaign are simple ones.
- They must recreate in the public mind that Hillary Clinton who 56 percent of the nation thought should have been indicted for lying in the server scandal, and who two-thirds of the nation said was dishonest or untrustworthy.
- Second, Trump must convince the country, as he had almost done by Cleveland, that he is an acceptable, indeed, a preferable alternative.
While the assignment is simple, as Ronald Reagan reminded us, there may be simple answers, but there are no easy ones.
What is the case against Clinton his campaign must make?
- She is a political opportunist who voted for a war in Iraq, in which she did not believe, that proved ruinous for her country.
- As secretary of state, she pushed for the overthrow and celebrated the assassination of a Libyan dictator, resulting in a North African haven for al-Qaida and ISIS.
- Her reset with Russia was a diplomatic joke.
- Her incompetence led to the death of a U.S. ambassador and three brave Americans in Benghazi, and she subsequently lied to the families of the dead heroes about why they had died.
- Her statements about her server and emails were so perjurious they almost caused FBI Director James Comey to throw up in public.
- She speaks of Bill, Chelsea and herself as leaving the White House in 2001 in roughly the same conditions of immiseration that the Joads left Dust Bowl Oklahoma in “The Grapes of Wrath.”
- But on leaving State, Hillary Clinton was pulling down $225,000 a pop for 20-minute speeches to Goldman Sachs. It’s a long way, baby, from her Children’s Defense Fund days, the recalling of which almost caused Bill Clinton to lose it and break down sobbing at the Philly convention.

Sailor Denied 'Clinton Deal', Gets 1 Year in Prison for 6 Photos of Sub | US News:
"A former Navy machinist mate who admitted taking photos inside a nuclear submarine was sentenced to a year in prison Friday, with a federal judge rebuffing a request for probation in light of authorities deciding not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information on a private email server as secretary of state.
Kristian Saucier’s attorneys argued in a court filing last week that Clinton had been "engaging in acts similar to Mr. Saucier" with information of much higher classification. It would be "unjust and unfair for Mr. Saucier to receive any sentence other than probation for a crime those more powerful than him will likely avoid," attorney Derrick Hogan wrote."

How dare the EU try to claim Britain's Olympic gold medals as its own?
"I was in Berlin when Germany won the World Cup in 2014. Fireworks, street parties, singing, dancing and lots of flag waving all spoke to a joyous national celebration – the due of any victor in international sport.
There is some irony, then, in this week's stunt from German consultancy Euro Informationen. The company, whose clients include the European Commission and European Parliament, has produced a new Olympics medals table which puts the EU at the top.
The absurdity as well as the diplomatic idiocy of this gimmick is obvious. The EU – as any of its bureaucrats will proudly drawl – is not a country, it’s a bloc, and the Olympics does not award medals to blocs, much as Fifa does not.
But the truly amusing irony is that this ghastly competitor tops the chart largely because of the incredible medal haul of Britain, the very country it is currently absorbed in shaming and punishing for its rankly disobedient vote in June to leave the EU..."

Road to urban despair paved by Democrats - Chicago Tribune:
"What isn't discussed enough when riots happen and neighborhoods burn is the one thing most common to all these decaying urban tinderboxes.
They're run by Democrats.
Baltimore is a Democratic city, Milwaukee is a Democratic city, Chicago, Detroit, and on and on.
This is a most inconvenient truth. This is what binds them."

Is Hayden a Boy or Girl? Both. ‘Post-Gender’ Baby Names Are on the Rise. - The New York Times:
"When it came to naming their third son a few weeks ago, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green sidestepped traditional boys names like Ethan and Jacob for the gender-agnostic name Journey, which may have been a subtle nod to the couple’s much-chronicled attempts to work their way back from the brink of divorce.
Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell also opted for an indeterminate-sex name (Delta) for their second daughter, born last year.
“It was a joke, because our first daughter’s name is Lincoln, which is very masculine,” Mr. Shepard said on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
“So a friend of mine teasingly texted me: ‘Oh, great! What’s this one going to be? Navy Seal? Delta Force?’
Their choice hardly seems unusual in a culture where Heidi Klum, Jessica Simpson and Drew Barrymore have all chosen names for their daughters that could go either way and collectively sound like a frontcourt for the 1962 Detroit Pistons (Lou, for Ms. Klum’s daughter; Maxwell, for Ms. Simpson’s; and Frankie, for Ms. Barrymore’s).
It’s not just Hollywood.
At a time when Banana Republic has done away with pink and blue distinctions in a children’s line, some high schools have stopped using graduation gowns with different colors for boys and girls, and unisex is de rigueur in fashion, gender-blurring baby names are on the rise among American parents..."

Colin Powell Completely Blows Away Hillary's Lame Email Alibi Away With 1 Key Sentence
Colin Powell Completely Blows Away Hillary's Lame Email Alibi Away With 1 Key Sentence:
"Ever since Hillary realized just how much trouble the private email server she used as secretary of state was going to cause her bid for the presidency, she has hidden behind one of the most respected names in American foreign policy to justify her email practices.
Former Secretary of State Colin Powell — the architect of George H.W. Bush’s victory in the first Gulf War, and secretary of state for George W. Bush — had used a personal email account, too, Hillary and her defenders maintained. But what the Democrat nominee told the FBI — and what Powell has now said about that — only serves to amp up the controversy and underscore Hillary’s dishonesty."

The Bizarre Media Blackout Of Hacked George Soros Documents
The Bizarre Media Blackout Of Hacked George Soros Documents | Stock News & Stock Market Analysis - IBD:
"Scandal: Leaked documents released a few days ago provide juicy insider details of how a fabulously rich businessman has been using his money to influence elections in Europe, underwrite an extremist group, target U.S. citizens who disagreed with him, dictate foreign policy, and try to sway a Supreme Court ruling, among other things.
Pretty compelling stuff, right?
Not if it involves leftist billionaire George Soros.
In this case, the mainstream press couldn't care less.
On Saturday, a group called DC Leaks posted more than 2,500 documents going back to 2008 that it pilfered from Soros' Open Society Foundations' servers.
Since then, the mainstream media have shown zero interest in this gold mine of information.
We couldn't find a single story on the New York Times, CNN, Washington Post, CBS News or other major news sites that even noted the existence of these leaked documents, let alone reported on what's in them.
Indeed, the only news organization that appears to be diligently sifting through all the documents is the conservative Daily Caller, which as a result has filed a series of eye-opening reports..."

Reminder: Obamacare Is Still A Giant Cronyistic Disaster
It’d be a shame if something terrible happened to that poorly constructed, expensive, low-enrollment, government-run, fabricated health-insurance marketplace scheme that we’re helping you prop up. — Aetna to Barack Obama, basically
So a giant rent-seeking insurance company is accused of having threatened to leave Obamacare’s health insurance “marketplace” if the government didn’t approve its giant merger.
If true, this would be the least surprising development in the past six years of Obamacare fiascos. Any giant regulatory scheme bringing together big business and big government inevitably leads to cronyism and corruption.
Not long after the Justice Department blocked Aetna’s merger with Humana, the company announced it would be scaling back participation in ACA.
Now, Obamacare consumers in 11 states won’t be able to keep their insurance even though, one imagines, they like their plans.
But choices are getting scarcer by the year.
Aetna is now one of around a dozen major insurance providers who’ve dropped completely out or scaled back participation in exchanges.
A recent Kaiser Family Foundation study estimates that 664 counties will feature only a single insurer on Obamacare exchanges in 2017.
In 2016, it was 215. Four entire states will have only one Obamacare insurer. In one Arizona county, there may be none.
Since Obamacare, in effect, solidified in-state insurance cartels, the exchanges are starting to look very much the same.
But opening markets up across state (and national) lines is a silly idea,

Iran ransom humiliates Obama - Washington Times
Iran ransom humiliates Obama - Washington Times:
"His earlier firm, sharp, no-nonsense declaration, “We do not pay ransom,” was just the kind of declaration that the president, a man with a reputation for a familiarity with words, should have learned by now to avoid. A presidential fibber has to leave himself a little wiggle room.
What he left is a declaration to take its place with other Obama classics: If you like the health plan you’ve got, you can keep it. Abandoning an ambassador to the mob in Benghazi was the fault of a homemade video. The regime in Syria better not cross the red line if Assad knows what’s good for him. And this enormous one: There’s no such thing as radical Islamic terrorism."

Man Claims WH Official Assaulted Him For Redskins Shirt
Man Claims WH Official Assaulted Him For Redskins Shirt | The Daily Caller:
"Barrett Dahl of Oklahoma is claiming that the White House’s executive director of American Indian and Alaska Native Education assaulted him last year for wearing a Washington Redskins shirt.
The shirt was reportedly a Redskins jersey with the phrase “INJUN PLAYER” on the back.
Oklahoma City’s News 9 KWTV reports that Dahl, an autistic student at the University of Oklahoma and proud member of the Choctaw Nation, was visiting Washington, D.C. on a school trip when White House staffer William Mendoza approached him at a Pow Wow.
“He comes to me and calls me the name weetard not retard, weetard. ‘You’re a weetard for not understanding Redskins is offensive,'” Dahl explained. “Where are you from? You’re so stupid and uneducated. You don’t understand Redskins is offensive? And I tell him I’m from Oklahoma as I’m very proud to be and that’s when he spits on me.”
The pair was later involved in a tussle that sent both parties tumbling down an escalator, yet both sides offer conflicting explanations.
Dahl claims to have been attacked from behind on the escalator, resulting in multiple surgeries that cost thousands of dollars.
Mendoza gave a statement to News 9 in which he claims Dahl was the aggressor.
Upon exiting the escalator, I ran into Barry again, coming around the corner. I reached out my hand and said, ‘My apologies for offending you.’ He was holding a cup in his hand, at which point, he threw its contents that was the smell of coffee and was hot, but not scalding. He then punched me in the face (right cheek). I tried to grab him but we both fell. [sic]"

Race Walk Leader Appears To Be Having Poop Problems [Updates: He Has Collapsed]
French race walker Yohann Diniz is leading today’s 50k, but his competition hasn’t been a, uh, cakewalk? It looks like Diniz either has severe gastrointestinal issues—at times shoving a sponge down his pants to soak up wet fecal matter, and then throwing the sponge off toward the crowd—or stuck a bunch of chocolate bars in his underwear for energy, and they melted.
That’s clearly it, right? It’s chocolate bars?
Update (9:53 a.m.): Diniz has just collapsed on the course. It was probably not chocolate bars.
Update (11:08 a.m.): He finished the race six minutes behind the winner.

Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon on #HillarysStools: Once You Notice It, You Can't Stop Noticing It | The Daily Sheeple:
This was pointed out to us by Mike Cernovich over at Danger & Play.
He wrote,
Have you ever noticed that once you notice something, you can’t stop noticing it? That’s called the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon and now you’ll never stop noticing that sick Hillary Clinton always has a stool to rest on nearby (#HillarysStools).A reader pointed out Hillary leaning on a stool, as sick Hillary looked tired and fatigued. Now I can’t stop noticing that every picture of Hillary has a hidden stool nearby.
And then produced photo after photo of Hillary… and stools.
And you know what? He’s right.
It’s easier to find pictures of Hillary on the campaign trail with a stool than without. Read on!
