Fox Host: Obama In Denial That His Policies Doomed The Democratic Party

Fox Host: Obama In Denial That His Policies Doomed The Democratic Party:

"Cavuto noted that Obama does not seem to have understood the consequences of his actions.

“You went after the rich, and seemed stunned when everyone else revolted. All but called the other side racist, yet failed to see the writing on the wall that was pretty black and white,” Cavuto said.

“Just like you failed to see that voters didn’t have a problem with the color of your skin, maybe just the thickness of it. Just like you failed to see Americans weren’t chauvinist for rejecting a woman for president, maybe just this woman for president,” he added."

Immigrants Take ALL Jobs Created In The Month Trump Beat Clinton—Plus There’s A New Illegal Wave

National Data | Immigrants Take ALL Jobs Created In The Month Trump Beat Clinton—Plus There’s A New Illegal Wave | VDARE - premier news outlet for patriotic immigration reform:
Employers added 178,000 jobs last month, while the unemployment dropped to 4.6% – dangerously close to the “full employment” level that mainstream economists warn could trigger wage and price inflation...
...The damage done by the 1965 immigration legislation resonates loud and clear in the latest Household Survey employment figures (which count legal and illegal immigrants together).
In November:
  • Total employment rose by 160,000, up by 0.11%
  • Native-born American employment fell 89,000, down by 0.07%
  • Foreign-born employment rose by 249,000, up by 0.96%
Native-born American workers have lost ground to their foreign-born competitors throughout the Obama years, but the trend has accelerated significantly over the past few months. In fact, the displacement of the native-born by immigrants hit an Obama-era high in August. November 2016 ranks third-worst among the 95 months of Obama’s tenure in terms of the displacement of American workers by immigrants.
This is brought out in our New VDARE.com American Worker Displacement Index (NVDAWDI) graphic:

First two months of FY2017, Somali ‘refugees’ entering US at highest rate ever!

First two months of FY2017, Somali ‘refugees’ entering US at highest rate ever! « Refugee Resettlement Watch:
"...You can’t make this up!
In light of the many Somalis who have been arrested and convicted on terrorism charges (here is the most recent case) and in light of two highly publicized cases of Somali youths we cared for on our taxpayer dime attempting to kill Americans since September in St. Cloud, MN and in Columbus, OH, we are admitting the highest weekly average of Somalis to the US that we have ever done in the last 30 years!
Using the data available to the public at Wrapsnet.org (Refugee Processing Center), we searched for the number of Somalis (virtually all Somalis are Muslims) admitted between October 1, 2016 and December 1, 2016 and this is what we found:
2,598 were admitted in the last two months. (More Somalis than Syrians, here).
And check out the top ten states which ‘welcomed’ them. (40 states got some number of Somalis, but large numbers will head to Minnesota and Ohio as soon as their initial resettlement funds run out.)..."

2016 Victories: Supreme Court Blocks President Obama’s Executive Overreach | American Center for Law and Justice

2016 Victories: Supreme Court Blocks President Obama’s Executive Overreach | American Center for Law and Justice:

"This year, in a major blow to President Obama’s lawless Executive overreach and an important victory for the separation of powers and the U.S. Constitution, an equally divided Supreme Court kept a federal court injunction in place blocking President Obama’s Executive action that unilaterally rewrote our nation’s immigration laws.

This crucial victory underscores what we have argued for years: impatient Presidents don’t get to change the law.  "

1 in 5 D.C. Killers Were Set Free by "Sentencing Reform"

1 in 5 D.C. Killers Were Set Free by "Sentencing Reform" | Frontpage Mag
"Sentencing reform, a euphemism that the pro-crime lobby uses to mean going soft on criminals, is championed by the left and by some elements on the right.
This Washington Post story shows the terrible effects of sentencing reform on the victims of criminals freed to rape and kill.
Hundreds of criminals sentenced by D.C. judges under an obscure local law crafted to give second chances to young adult offenders have gone on to rob, rape or kill residents of the nation’s capital.
The original intent of the law was to rehabilitate inexperienced criminals under the age of 22. The District’s Youth Rehabilitation Act allows for shorter sentences for some crimes and an opportunity for offenders to emerge with no criminal record. But a Washington Post investigation has found a pattern of violent offenders returning rapidly to the streets and committing more crimes. Hundreds have been sentenced under the act multiple times.
In dozens of cases, D.C. judges were able to hand down Youth Act sentences shorter than those called for under mandatory minimum laws designed to deter armed robberies and other violent crimes. The criminals have often repaid that leniency by escalating their crimes of violence upon release.
Because that's how criminals work.
This isn't a surprise to anyone who knows anything about the criminal justice system. The mythical "kid just locked up for smoking pot once" touted by sentencing reform advocates is just that. A myth. The system is full of repeat offenders who take advantage of every loophole thanks to their lawyers and then continue committing more crimes, going in and out of the system.

Abbot made the announcement Thursday via Twitter, in response to a petition effort in the state by students seeking to have their universities protect illegal immigrants. Abbott made it clear such a move wouldn’t fly in Texas."

Worth your time!-----The new age of propaganda

"The video embedded below of a TED talk by Sharyl Attkisson deserves to be viewed by American Thinker readers.
In it she discusses astroturf groups, the fake grass roots movements funded from above in order to influence media coverage of a political issue.
It is a bit over 10 minutes, not an outrageous investment of your time compared to the valuable information it provides.

‘At war with itself’: Obama Dept of Energy says Obama EPA climate rule to cost 400,000 jobs

‘At war with itself’: Obama Dept of Energy says Obama EPA climate rule to cost 400,000 jobs | Climate Depot:
"Testifying before Congress, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy says that the Obama Department of Energy is wrong with its analysis that the Agency’s Clean Power Plan will “reduce economic growth, increase electricity costs, and result in almost 400,000 jobs lost over the next 15 years”.
McCarthy: “That is exactly opposite of what we believe will happen based on our independent analysis.”
Image result for EPA regulationsCONGRESSMAN LAMAR SMITH: “The non-partisan Energy Information Administration at the Department of Energy has found that the Clean Power Plan will reduce economic growth, increase electricity costs, and result in almost 400,000 jobs lost over the next 15 years; and all this is with very little impact on climate change itself.
So why has the Obama Administration imposed this regulation on the American people?”[…]
CONGRESSMAN SMITH: “Have you read their report on the Clean Power Plan?”
ADMINISTRATOR GINA MCCARTHY: “In the past.”
CONGRESSMAN SMITH: “And, you disagree with that?”
ADMINISTRATOR MCCARTHY: “I don’t know what just you read, sir. I don’t know which one it is. So, I’m happy to take a look.”
CONGRESSMAN SMITH: “Well, again, reduce economic growth, increase electricity cost and cost 400,000 jobs over the next 15 years.”
ADMINISTRATOR GINA MCCARTHY: “That is exactly opposite of what we believe will happen based on our independent analysis.”
CONGRESSMAN SMITH: “It’s nice to have the Administration at war with itself.”

Watch: Eric Bolling slams Democrats for blaming their election loss on ‘sexism’ and ‘racism’ – TheBlaze

Watch: Eric Bolling slams Democrats for blaming their election loss on ‘sexism’ and ‘racism’ – TheBlaze:

"He added that Clinton had many clear advantages over Trump including money, polls, the media and the electoral map, but Trump was able to still come away with a decisive victory, including winning many of the counties and states that President Barack Obama won in 2008 and 2012.

But there was one message of Clinton’s that did resonate with voters, Bolling contended: when she called half of Trump’s supporters a “basket of deplorables.”

“That comment hit home, but to the wrong group."

"Compiling a list of reasons why Barack Obama is a terrible president seems like a project for a book rather than a column.
However, when we start looking at the catastrophic mistakes he’s made that may reverberate for years to come, it’s clear that he’s been a disaster for America on a scale that few other Presidents can match. Just look at his record.

Laughing At Liberals As They Lose Their Minds

Laughing At Liberals As They Lose Their Minds - Kurt Schlichter:
"I reached peak Twitter this week when I was sucked into a tweet battle with a liberal dwarf.
True story.
Donald Trump’s victory had the militant munchkin fuming.
I have to admit that I was a little short with her myself.
But I should be smiling – we conservatives should all be smiling – because everything is going our way.
For heaven’s sake, our next Secretary of Defense is going to be nicknamed “Mad Dog.”
We just spent eight years being ruled by people who would prefer it be someone nicknamed “Hugs N’ Stuff.”
The liberals are truly going nuts, and it’s beautiful.
Image result for msnbc going nuts trumpThey recently resurrected Nancy Pelosi for another glorious term winnowing away the House Democrat caucus.
Pretty soon it’s just going to be her and some guy representing Berkeley who they recruited while he was shouting “Workers of the world unite!” at bored coeds on Telegraph Avenue.
You know, if you want to reach out to the kind of hard-working, salt-of-the-earth, normal Americans who voted for the black guy then allegedly refused to vote for the woman because they are racist, you totally want an ancient, rich, snooty, San Francisco leftist and Botox after-picture like the Nanster.
The only way you could further alienate these alienated voters is, I don’t know, making your DNC chairman some radical leftist, urban black Muslim who hates guns, loves Farrakhan and who parties with Middle Eastern scumbags who issue fatwas to kill those voters’ soldier sons and daughters.
...Yes, we are living in wonderful times.
Democrats are out of power, the media has been neutered – hell, it could play Ken – and the liberal cultural institutions are talking themselves into ritual suicide.
Now, all I have to do to bring it full circle is to get back on Twitter and get caught up in a spat with a socialist gnome or some transitioning elf."

Mike Rowe responds to critical fan: Our American flag is more than a ‘mere symbol’ – TheBlaze

Mike Rowe responds to critical fan: Our American flag is more than a ‘mere symbol’ – TheBlaze:

"“The thing about ‘mere symbols’ Susanne, is that they represent ‘mere ideas,’ and ‘mere ideas’ are the backbone of ‘mere humanity.’ In the case of the flag, we’re talking about ideas that are wrapped into the Constitution – a document that separates us from every other country on the planet,” Rowe added.

Those ideas, Rowe wrote, are the reason people “fight and die” and have many of the rights Americans get to enjoy, like free speech, carry guns and desecrate symbols that represent those freedoms."

Trump is FDR with the fireside tweet

Trump is FDR with the fireside tweet: Glenn Reynolds
"Democrats think caring means a government program.
Trump thinks caring is getting to keep your job, just as he promised.
President Clinton said, “I feel your pain.”
President Franklin Roosevelt had "fireside chats.”
And now President-elect Donald Trump is reaching out to forgotten Americans with a message that he cares about their problems, and wants to help.
Image result for trump fireside tweetsThis could be the Democrats’ worst nightmare.
As Walter Russell Mead notes in The American Interest, it’s an old style of politicking that more recent politicos seem to have forgotten.
Trump’s Carrier event saved only a tiny fraction of jobs that are being lost around the country, and it might not make much difference in the long run, but that wasn’t the point.
The point was “that the people at the top are aware of the problems of the people at the bottom," Mead writes.
"It’s smart governance, but it’s something that the technocratic progressive mind tends to undervalue.”
...Trump, by contrast, promised to save Carrier jobs during the campaign and then, even though Obama mocked him for it at the PBS town hall (“What are you going to do? ... What magic wand do you have?”)
Trump then went ahead and delivered.
A conspicuously kept campaign promise that benefits the little guy sends a signal of caring that talk of macroeconomics does not.
FDR knew this.
His New Deal economic policies were mostly snake oil — according to a study by UCLA economists, they actually prolonged the Great Depression by seven years.
But FDR made people feel like he cared, even though he was a rich man from New York who had never been poor himself.
Now another rich man from New York seems to be repeating the formula.
FDR gave the Democrats two decades of political dominance.
Today’s Democrats should be worrying that Trump could do the same for the Republican Party."
