Liberals Lost Their Minds Over the Senate's Passing a GOP Tax Bill Saturday

Liberals Lost Their Minds Over the Senate's Passing a GOP Tax Bill Saturday
"In the wee hours of Saturday morning, the U.S. Senate passed a major tax reform bill. ...Even so, liberals (and at least one former Republican) started freaking out, as if this bill were the end of the world.
Here are some of the most ridiculous responses to the passage of the tax bill. Enjoy!

Kurt Eichenwald, a senior writer for Newsweek and contributing editor for Vanity Fair, took up the Chicken Little cry with gusto.
"America died tonight," Eichenwald tweeted. "Economic suicide adopted to feed the insatiable greed of donors, who have been refusing to dole out $ to GOP until they got their tax cuts. Voters fooled by propaganda and tribal hatred."
The writer concluded with a message to young people. "Millennials: move away if you can. USA is over. We killed it."...
2. "There's no America now."
Comedian and actor Patton Oswalt took up the theme asking, "Is there any going back after this Tax Bill Scam? To America? Does it matter now if Trump is impeached? There's no America now."
At least he clarified, "Not the one we knew. Sorry, feeling real despair this morning."

3. "It's akin to rape."

Isn't it pathetic that the whole investigation – the spying, the illegal unmasking, and the illegal leaking of conversations – appears to be based on a fake $12-million Russian dossier bought and paid for by Democrats to destroy their opponent?  That should be the crime."

Layoffs among $2.9M in cuts to Muskegon County 2018 budget | MLive.com
"MUSKEGON, MI - Muskegon County's Child Care Fund, public health department, Sobriety Court and public defender's office will receive major budget cuts in fiscal year 2018.
Image result for thatcher socialism quoteThe cuts were included in several budget amendments recently approved by the Muskegon County Board of Commissioners.
Many of the cuts were made in response to the failure of a millage (GIANT TAX INCREASE) request to support youth and family criminal justice services.
Voters rejected the Youth-Family millage by an overwhelming majority in November.
County Administrator Mark Eisenbarth and budget director Beth Dick said prior to the election that the adopted 2018 budget was created assuming the millage would pass.
Now, Eisenbarth and county officials are hoping to offset the loss and save money by cutting $2.9 million from the adopted 2018 budget.
Some of those cuts will include staff layoffs, Eisenbarth said.
Another $1.4 million in existing funds will be moved around to offset other imbalances.
At least $550,000 in new revenue officials are counting on will be allocated to departments receiving major cuts as officials work out the county's financial future..."

DOJ Puts Out Arrest Warrant for Kate Steinle's Killer, Dares Sanctuary San Francisco to Protect Him Again - Breitbart:

Image result for flickr commons images California Flag"Despite confessing to shooting Steinle on a San Francisco pier, Zarate was convicted only of illegally possessing a firearm and will face only a short sentence in sanctuary state California. The jury, the majority of whom were San Francisco millennials and one quarter of whom were immigrants, apparently believed the defense’s assertion that Zarate’s stolen pistol went off “accidentally.”

The verdict drew widespread condemnation from conservatives.

The firearms charge, however is enough to violate the original terms of Zarate’s supervised release on the illegal reentry conviction which specifies he commit no further crimes and possess no firearms. Friday’s warrant demands he be sent back to Texas to serve out the rest of his 2011 sentence in prison."

Delaware regulation would allow students to ID as gender of choice without parental consent - The College Fix:
"Over the last three weeks controversy has been bubbling up in the First State over a state Department of Education regulation intended to protect transgender students in schools.
That regulation — 225 — says the following (emphasis added):
See the source imageA school may request permission from the parent or legal guardian of a minor student before a self-identified gender or race is accepted; provided, however, that prior to requesting the permission from a parent or legal guardian, the school should consult and work closely with the student to assess the degree to which, if any, the parent or legal guardian is aware of the Protected Characteristic and is supportive of the student, and the school shall take into consideration the safety, health and well-being of the student in deciding whether to request permission from the parent or legal guardian.
You read that right — the school may,” not “will,” request permission from a parent before a student’s decision about which gender and/or race he/she is is accepted by a school and district … and the school will determine just how supportive the parent is of this decision..."

How Long $1 Million Will Last in Retirement in Every State | GOBankingRates

Image result for retirementHow Long $1 Million Will Last in Retirement in Every State | GOBankingRates:
"10,000 people turn 65 in the U.S. every single day.
The average American retirement age is 63, and the life expectancy for retirees is about 85.
That means Americans should plan to spend 22 years in retirement.
The AARP suggests a retirement income nest egg of at least $1 million, but the buying power of $1 million varies wildly depending on where you live.
So if you're asking "how long will my money last in retirement," the answer depends on your state...
4. Michigan
  • $1 million will last: 25 years
Michiganders can also make $1 million last for 25 years.
Healthcare costs just $5,416 a year in Michigan, and at $3,323, utilities are fairly cheap, too.
The biggest advantage for retirees, however, is the fact that annual housing costs average just $12,330.
In total, the estimated cost of living is $39,974."

"FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok (above left), was the deputy head of counterintelligence at the FBI.
He was the tip-of-the-spear in the Clinton email investigation assigned by James Comey.
FBI Agent Strzok was part of a very small special team, called the “skinny team”, tasked with investigating Hillary Clinton.
Agent Peter Strzok was one of the few people who actually interviewed Hillary Clinton.
See the source imageAdditionally, this year agent Peter Strzok was personally selected by Special Counsel Robert Mueller to be the TOP FBI AGENT in charge of the investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian collusion conspiracy.
However, as a direct outcome of an Inspector General investigation into Peter Strzok, it is just coming to light that text messages and written communication between Strzok and an FBI lawyer named Lisa Page will show a strong bias to clear Clinton and against Trump.
Behind the communication, Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page were having an affair.
Strzok and Page communicated with each other about their disdain and hatred for Donald Trump while they were key members of the Muller investigative team."
