"Civility" of the left-----Capital Gazette Reporter To Trump: ‘I Couldn’t Give A F**k’ About Your Prayers | Daily Wire

Capital Gazette Reporter To Trump: ‘I Couldn’t Give A F**k’ About Your Prayers | Daily Wire
"After surviving the horrible shooting at The Capital Gazette newspaper, a shaken reporter told CNN she "couldn’t give a f**k" about thoughts and prayers if "there’s nothing else."
Her comments were in response to President Trump and Melania Trump tweeting the Left's most hated phrase in response to the shooting: "thoughts and prayers."

Prior to departing Wisconsin, I was briefed on the shooting at Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. Thank you to all of the First Responders who are currently on the scene.

Today's violence at the Capital Gazette was tragic & evil. My heart goes out to all affected in this brutal & senseless attack, & I send thoughts & prayers for comfort to the friends, family & colleagues of those killed & injured.
"Speaking with Anderson Cooper on Thursday night, Capital Gazette writer Selene San Felice recalled feeling "shaken" by the attack and the horror of having to crawl under her desk for survival.
In response to "thoughts and prayers," she called for something substantial.
"I’ve heard that President Trump sent his prayers.
I’m not trying to make this political, right? But we need more than prayers. I appreciate the prayers. I was praying the entire time I was [hiding] under that desk. I want your prayers but I want something else," San Felice said.
"I’m going to need more than a couple days of news coverage and some thoughts and prayers because our whole lives have been shattered," she added.
"Thanks for your prayers, but I couldn’t give a f**k about them if there’s nothing else."

"Thousands of protesters showed up in Washington DC Saturday to complain about Latino families from Central America being separated at the southern border after they enter the US illegally. (Scroll down to see collection of photos from DC protest).
Despite the president’s executive order to stop the separation of families that was signed last week, the protesters marched with signs making it appear as if the Trump administration is continuing to detain children in conditions that are inhumane.
Some of the signs depicted Trump as Hitler, while others called for open borders.  I find that to be sickening.

Politicians who argue for higher tax rates to reduce the deficit would rather take more of hardworking Americans’ money than do the politically difficult work of cutting spending. Taxing the rich will not fix this problem. Taxes would need to go up on all Americans to feed the federal behemoth.

Watch: GOP Releases Toughest Political Ad Since the 'Daisy Girl' in 1964
"There is little argument that the left has become increasingly unhinged since the 2016 election of President Donald Trump, reflexively lashing out in hateful opposition to virtually everything said or done by Trump and his administration.
That opposition, perhaps best known by the hashtag #Resistance, is little more than emotional outbursts fueled by the blind rage of leftists who still haven’t accepted the results of an election that took place more than a year-and-a-half ago.
Evidence of the unhinged nature of the left has been displayed for all to see by countless liberal celebrities, elected Democrats and partisan pundits in the media, all of whom appear wholly consumed by their hatred for Trump.
The Republican National Committee recently compiled numerous examples of the left’s unhinged behavior into an incredibly tough and hard-hitting political ad ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, one that immediately gained notice and could have a significant effect on the electorate.
The ad begins with self-declared socialist Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ voice running over scenes of Inauguration Day violence. It shifts to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi discussing the need for “uprisings” in the streets before showing Democrat California Rep. Maxine Waters urging supporters to harass any Trump cabinet officers spotted out in public..."

Labour MP asks what British government is doing for women suffering from ‘period poverty’ – twitchy.com
"OK, “period poverty” is officially a thing now, and it’s been creeping up on us for years.
Just a couple of years ago, a writer for HuffPost argued that “free tampons should be a human right.”
There have also been members of Congress introducing legislation to make feminine hygiene products tax-free.
(You remember the Fund Essential Menstruation Products (FEM) Act, right?)
Let’s hop across the pond for a minute to meet the U.K.’s version of Sandra Fluke, only she’s testifying on “period poverty” — the case where women just can’t afford to have periods.

"The average cost of a period in the UK, over a year, is £500. Many women can’t afford this."
Labour MP Danielle Rowley asks Minister for Women Victoria Atkins what the government is doing to address period poverty.
Like we said, when it comes to math, she’s the U.K.’s Sandra Fluke, who told Congress that contraception can cost over $3,000 for a woman during her time in law school.
