Move Over ‘Friends,’ Millennials Now Find ‘Seinfeld’ Problematic | Daily Wire:

Image result for flickr commons images Seinfeld on TVSo much of our culture today seems to be about finding reasons to hate pop culture from even a decade or two ago.
Now, one of the most popular and successful TV shows of all time is considered problematic for several jokes that were okay – or a little edgy – in the 1990s that are now offensive to American millennials. The previous victim of this new, politically correct world was “Friends.” Now, “Seinfeld” is getting the social justice warrior treatment.

Donald Trump's crackdown on deportation deadbeat countries yields immediate results - Washington Times
"Sierra Leone for years had thumbed its nose at U.S. officials, slow-walking deportations so badly that it earned its way onto Homeland Security’s “recalcitrant country” naughty list.
Over the last two years of the Obama administration, Sierra Leone took back just 21 deportees.
President Trump took office vowing action, and one of his first executive orders instructed his administration to stop issuing visas to the worst-offending countries.
The Sierra Leone government was targeted with sanctions in August 2017, and the change came quickly, with 44 deportees sent back that year, and 79 shipped back in fiscal 2018..."

Tom Cotton Blocks Jobs Giveaway to Foreign Graduates:

Image result for flickr commons images Senator Tom CottonSen. Tom Cotton successfully blocked House Speaker Paul Ryan from outsourcing 5,000 white-collar jobs to Irish graduates each year, according to multiple sources.
Cotton blocked the outsourcing bill by putting a last-minute legislative “hold” on the proposal, ensuring it could get through the Senate’s lame-duck session.
The move also denied a political victory to Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer, who had pushed for the outsourcing bill. Schumer and other Democrats were expected to claim GOP approval of the Irish giveaway reveals racist motives for apparent GOP opposition to much larger giveaways to people from Africa, South America, India, or China.

IN A PULPIT CRITIQUE OF DONALD TRUMP, HANK JOHNSON (D-GA) INVOKES ADOLF HITLER:
Johnson made his point from the pulpit at Friendship Baptist Church, during a celebration to mark the 156th anniversary of the implementation of the Emancipation Proclamation. He urged vigilance against tyranny.

“Americans, particularly black Americans, can’t afford to make that same mistake about the harm that could be done by a man named Hitler or a man named Trump,” Johnson said.
In the future, every Republican president will be Hitler — and that future began in 1944
But in Johnson’s defense, the two men share at least one common detail: both knew that Guam could not capsize.--Posted by Ed Driscoll"

"You're paying a premium to live here: The cost of living has risen faster in Seattle than in any other American city.
How’s this for irony?
While we’ve been worried about Seattle becoming the next San Francisco, it turns out other cities have been worried about becoming the next Seattle.
That’s right.
“Seattle-ization” is a thing now, at least according to a New York Times article published last week. It’s described as “a particularly dire diagnosis,” and characterized by high housing costs and tech wealth, a combination that’s thoroughly transformed the city in an alarmingly short span of time..."

Climate change is largely an enigma, which few people actually understand while pretending they know it all and that humans are to blame. Usually opining on the topic from a ten bedroom mansion running constant AC, or a private plane, yacht, or pick your elitist device. Climate change is run by mother nature. Who frankly doesn’t give a damn about human opinions.

The Military & Political Trends Of 2018 That Will Shape 2019 :: Grabien News

"2018 was marked by notable and sometimes alarming political, military and security developments around the world.
The Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia and East Asia once again became the scenes of global and intra-regional standoffs.
A characteristic feature of the past year was the fact that almost all cross-border regions as well as regions which directly concern the economic and security interests of the USA, the EU, the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation have been drawn into the confrontation between global forces.
This leads to the conclusion that there are no more “safe havens” in today’s world.
...Another threat to European security is a possible hot regional war in Eastern Europe, which may start in Ukraine.
...Global economic issues and the state of international affairs will contribute to the further fragmentation of the world and the growth of isolationist tendencies.
2019 could prove the pivotal year in marking the final breakdown of the existing model of international relations and the intensification of the conflict between global powers, as they seek to shape the new world order.
Regardless, it is safe to assume that in 2019 the world will remain a “very dangerous place”...."

Rep. Steve Scalise: Democrats need to stop playing games with America's safety and fund border security now | Fox News:

Image result for flickr commons images obamaWe need to secure our border. There have been many words spoken about the funding fight to do this, but consider these: “The bill before us would certainly do some good. It would authorize some badly needed funding for better fences and better security along our borders that should help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in this country.”
No, that statement wasn’t made by a Republican. It was a speech given by then-Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois in 2006, when 26 Senate Democrats – including Obama and Sens. Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer of New York – voted for The Secure Fence Act, which allocated $50 billion over 25 years for 700 miles of fencing along the border.
