Federal Agencies Admit To $1.2 Trillion In Improper Payments Since 2004

Federal Agencies Admit To $1.2 Trillion In Improper Payments Since 2004
"Since 2004, twenty large federal agencies admit paying out an astonishing $1.2 trillion in improper payments.
That amounts to more than one-quarter of President Trump’s proposed $4.7 trillion budget for 2020. Last year, these improper payments totaled $140 billion – that’s about $12 billion per month.
But what exactly is an improper payment?
Federal law defines the term as “payments made by the government to the wrong person, in the wrong amount, or for the wrong reason.”
In other words, there’s a lack of basic in-house financial controls within the largest federal agencies..."

Baltimore bookgate continues: Where are all the books?:
"We’re now well into the second week of bookgate in the city of Baltimore, Maryland.
(If you missed the details of the story thus far you can browse our previous coverage of it here.)
The passage of time and various requests for information from Mayor Catherine Pugh, the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) and the Baltimore City School District have not made this tale smell any better.
All the members of the UMMS Board of Directors who had these “self-dealing” arrangements have now either resigned or been placed on leave.
But one question specific to Mayor Pugh’s situation remains unanswered.
If she supposedly “sold” 100,000 copies of her self-published children’s book to UMMS to be distributed around hospitals and schools in the city, where are they all?
The last order for 20,000 books may or may not have been canceled, but that still leaves a lot of books to account for.
The Baltimore Sun has been digging for answers and as of yet, nobody seems to know.
Some are beginning to wonder if the full quantity of books ever existed at all..."

Other emails worthy of note include an email confirming a meeting with a pro-Putin billionaire from Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishivil, "who was reportedly involved in a Russia-rigged election for president of the Republic of Georgia," Judicial Watch notes. And another email from the deputy secretary of state says Biden was "thinking seriously about a Biden-Putin Commission."

"Less than one year ago, the Washington Post and the New York Times won Pulitzer Prizes for coverage of something that, according to Mueller’s report, did not exist.
In April 2018, both newspapers were awarded Pulitzers for their coverage of possible collusion between President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia.
Politico reported at the time:
The New York Times and Washington Post each won a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting on Monday, capping off a newsroom battle last year for scoops on links between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia, the focus of an ongoing special counsel investigation into the 2016 election...

'Whether Red or Blue, Most Millennials Would Pick their Party over the Best Lay of Their Life' | Dr. Helen

'Whether Red or Blue, Most Millennials Would Pick their Party over the Best Lay of Their Life' | Dr. Helen
"I saw in the NY Post that Millennials "care more about date’s politics than good sex":
Nobody’s sleeping with the enemy these days.
“If I see somebody who’s like, ‘I’m moderate or conservative,’ I keep swiping,” Bronx resident Nadine Anglesey tells The Post. The 33-year-old art director hasn’t dated a conservative since the 2016 election — even if she’s attracted to him. “Yesterday, this one guy [on the dating app Hinge] seemed really great ’til I saw he marked himself as conservative,” she says. “I nipped that in the bud.”
See the source imageAnglesey’s not alone: Whether red or blue, most millennials would pick their party over the best lay of their life, according to new research.
The number of millennial men and women who prioritize political party alliance over good sex has skyrocketed since 2016, according to data from OkCupid. The matchmaking company surveyed more than 8 million users, and found that interest in dating someone with similar political beliefs has gone up 165 percent since 2004, while having good sex has decreased as a priority 30 percent.
Specifically, between 2016 and 2018, the number of women who consider politics more important than sex shot up from 27 percent to 42 percent, while for men that needle moved from 23 percent to 30 percent.
Notice that men are more open-minded than women in their political choices, or maybe they care about sex more. The media has definitely made this political divide worse since 2016, but maybe it is for the best.
The NY Post article mainly mentions liberals who won't date Republicans and one male conservative who didn't care about the political leanings of his dates.
As liberals become more segregated, that leaves the conservatives to date each other, which may be better in the long run, especially for men who could experience a lifetime of regret for marrying a woman who holds his politics in contempt."

How to end the Mueller nightmare — probe Hillary Clinton again

How to end the Mueller nightmare — probe Hillary Clinton again:

Image result for flickr commons images hillary clintonNow, with Mueller finished, it is time to give equal attention to the other side of the story, of how we got here. The questions can be boiled down to two.
Was the initial decision to investigate Trump’s campaign an honest mistake by the Obama administration? Or was it an attempt to rig the election in favor of Clinton, and when that failed, overthrow a duly elected president?
Those outstanding issues are as worthy of complete answers as those that Mueller investigated. In addition to knowing whether there was an improper relationship between a candidate and a foreign power, Americans also deserve to know what was going on inside their own government and whether it was simply incompetent or thoroughly corrupt, or some combination of the two.

"Mock The Russiagaters. Mock Them Ruthlessly" | Zero Hedge

Caitlin Johnstone Rages: "Mock The Russiagaters. Mock Them Ruthlessly" | Zero Hedge
"The Robert Mueller investigation which monopolized political discourse for two years has finally concluded...

...A completely unhindered investigation has failed to convict a single American of any kind of conspiracy with the Russian government, and no further indictments are coming.
The political/media class which sold rank-and-file Americans on the lie that the Mueller investigation was going to bring down this presidency were liars and frauds, and none of the goalpost-moving that I am sure is already beginning to happen will change that.

...The insane, maniacal McCarthyite feeding frenzy that these people were plunged into by nonstop mass media propaganda drowned out the important voices who tried to argue that public energy was being sucked into Russia hysteria and used to manufacture support for dangerous cold war escalations with a nuclear superpower.
Just think what we could have done with that energy over the last two years...
.@caitoz sums up: "Mock the Russiagaters.Mock them ruthlessly, and never, ever let them forget the horrible thing that they did. Never stop making fun of them and reminding them how stupid and crazy they acted during this humiliating period of US history." https://medium.com/@caityjohnstone/pelosi-tacitly-admits-that-russiagate-is-bullshit-3d0334bea729

  • We must never let them forget what they did or what they cost us all.
  • We must never let mainstream Democrats forget how crazy they got, how much time and energy they wasted, how very, very wrong they were and how very, very right we were.
  • Never stop reminding them of this.
  • Never stop mocking them for it.
  • Never stop mocking their idiotic Rachel Maddow worship.
  • Never stop mocking the Robert Mueller prayer candles.
  • Never stop making fun of the way they blamed all their problems on Susan Sarandon.
  • Never stop reminding them of those stupid pink vagina hats.

The 2016 messages, sent between former FBI lawyer Lisa Page and then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, also reveal that bureau brass circulated at least two anti-Trump blog articles, including a Lawfare blog post sent shortly after Election Day that called Trump possibly "among the major threats to the security of the country."

Image result for flickr commons images CandlesQ: What did socialists use before candles?
A: Electricity.
It’s an old joke, sure. But it’s no laughing matter. Just ask the people of Venezuela.
The socialist regime there nationalized the electricity sector a dozen years ago. Today, blackouts in the once-prosperous Latin American nation have become routine. Electricity isn’t all that’s in short supply. Gasoline is scarce in the oil-rich nation, as are food and medicine.
Meanwhile, the regime concentrates on violently repressing protests and burning humanitarian aid as it approaches its borders.

The American Media Destroyed Themselves over the Mueller Investigation | Roger L. Simon:

Image result for Paper Over HeadWith only a few exceptions — Fox News, the editorial pages (not the front pages) of the Wall Street Journal, and a handful of websites — the better part of the American media has spent the last two years fulminating about Trump-Russia collusion we now know never existed.
Actually, we always knew that, but finally, it's official. It was always a bunch of — excuse the expression — trumped up baloney that made no sense except to those who wished so deeply to believe it was true.
Which makes the people who were doing that fulminating — media, politicians and (usually retired) intelligence figures, who were, as is becoming increasingly clear, betraying the American Constitutional system with impunity — sick and evil.
