Outrage After Researchers Can’t Confirm Red Meat Causes Cancer:
Scientists have found there is little evidence that eating red meat causes health problems.
The research, led by Dalhousie University and McMaster University in Canada, counters official guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), which in 2015 labelled meat a carcinogenic.

Looming Nickel Shortage Threatens to Slam the Brakes on Governor Walz's Electric Vehicle Mandates - American Experiment

"Governor Walz recently announced that he wants hundreds of thousands of electric vehicles on Minnesota roads by 2030, but a world-wide shortage of nickel threatens to slam the brakes on EV’s.
...The Wall Street Journal projects nickel deficits for through 2019 and 2020 and the metal shortage will be exacerbated by Indonesia’s decision to ban all raw nickel exports and long lead times for mine permitting in areas like Minnesota.
...if the Governor truly wanted to be a global leader on climate, he would open up the Duluth Complex to mining, because it is the single-largest undeveloped source of copper and nickel in the world, and these metals will be in high demand if the entire world is to shift to (expensive and inefficient) renewable energy sources and (unprofitable) electric cars...

Walter E. Williams---Who Cares About You?
Who Cares About You?
"During my student days at a UCLA economics department faculty/graduate student coffee hour in the 1960s, I was chatting with Professor Armen Alchian, probably the greatest microeconomic theory economist of the 20th century.
I was trying to impress Alchian with my knowledge of statistical type I and type II errors.
I explained that unlike my wife, who assumed that everyone was her friend until they prove differently, my assumption was everyone was an enemy until they proved otherwise.
The result: My wife's vision maximized the number of her friends but maximized her chances of betrayal.
My vision minimized my chances of betrayal at a cost of minimizing the number of my friends.
Alchian, donning a mischievous smile asked, "Williams, have you considered a third alternative, namely, that people don't give a damn about you one way or another?"
Initially, I felt a bit insulted, and our conversation didn't go much further, but that was typical of Alchian -- saying something profound, perhaps controversial, without much comment and letting you think it out.
Years later, I gave Alchian's third alternative considerable thought and concluded that he was right..."

Transgender Players Disrupt Women’s Rugby in Britain
Transgender Players Disrupt Women’s Rugby in Britain:
“Being forced to prioritize hurt feelings over broken bones exposes me to personal litigation from female players who have been damaged by players who are biologically male. This is driving female players and referees out of the game,” one referee told the British newspaper under the condition of anonymity.
“If you even ask the question, you are told you are a bigot,” another referee told the Times, recounting that five different players with beards played with women’s teams over the course of half a season.

Trump: Schiff's prior knowledge of whistleblower complaint a 'scandal' - WND:
The Times said Schiff's prior knowledge of the account by the future whistleblower "shows how determined he was to make known his allegations that Mr. Trump asked Ukraine’s government to interfere on his behalf in the 2020 election."
"It also explains how Mr. Schiff knew to press for the complaint when the Trump administration initially blocked lawmakers from seeing it."

American Renewal: Why Conservatives Need To Fight On Social Issues (And In Kentucky) | The Daily Caller:
But more important than simply winning elections, such an effort also holds the potential of turning — or at least stemming — the tide in our culture wars. If conservatives can use the left’s social extremism against them in elections, it is likely to both temper Democratic support for such causes as well as rally Republicans to a more enthusiastic opposition. Such victories also have a wider effect on the culture, by putting a lie to the idea that the progressive view is the only acceptable (and ultimately inevitable) one and energizing Americans to engage on these issues who might otherwise feel isolated or discouraged from doing so.
