Exclusive — Lee Smith's Deep State Book Excerpt: Inside ‘Objective Medusa,’ Devin Nunes’ Historic Investigation into Spygate Scandal | Breitbart:

Image result for flickr commons images Devin NunesIn mid-March 2017, California congressman Devin Nunes, then Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), found out the FBI had obtained a warrant to spy on Donald Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. And they’d used the Steele dossier, opposition research paid for by the Clinton campaign, as evidence.
But Nunes and his committee couldn’t say anything, not to the U.S. public, not even to fellow members of Congress. The FBI and DOJ had buried the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant, like so much of the anti-Trump operation, under the heading of classified intelligence.

Campus paper pulls ad with word ‘nationalism,’ editor says it would hurt students of color | The College Fix

  • Nationalism … connotes xenophobia,’ editor says
New York University’s student newspaper recently axed an ad placed by National Review editor Rich Lowry to promote his new book, “The Case for Nationalism,” and a campus lecture by the same name.

NYU’s Washington Square News editor-in-chief Sakshi Venkatraman put out a statement explaining her motives.
“On Sunday night during our weekly print production of the paper, I decided to pull the ad from the issue.
The ad’s pro-nationalist message does not align with the values of our paper, and after much thought, it was my decision to cancel it,” she said.
“The word ‘nationalism,’ as it exists in today’s political lexicon, connotes xenophobia and white supremacy..."..."

Ben Carson: Political correctness 'is going to destroy our nation' - WND:

Image result for flickr commons images Ben CarsonHousing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, already under fire for a display of his faith, told a Democratic congresswoman on Tuesday that political correctness would "destroy our nation."
Last month, The Washington Post, citing sources it did not name, said HUD staff interpreted comments Carson made during a staff meeting about "big hairy men" in homeless shelters for women as a slam against transgender individuals.
At the time, HUD issued a comment to The Post that said, “The Secretary does not use derogatory language to refer to transgendered individuals. Any reporting to the contrary is false."

Kmart Property is MEGA Reminder Not to Extend Subsidy Program – Michigan Capitol Confidential

Kmart Property is MEGA Reminder Not to Extend Subsidy Program – Michigan Capitol Confidential:
  • Good Jobs for Michigan is modeled after the failed MEGA
"I testified last week in the state Senate in opposition to the extension of a corporate subsidy program known by the misleading title of “Good Jobs for Michigan.”
Such programs are unnecessary, unfair and expensive.
The GJFM is a derivative of the state’s failed and now defunct Michigan Economic Growth Authority — or, MEGA — program...

  • There’s a larger incentive history here, however, and it should be instructive for lawmakers: Kmart itself was offered and accepted MEGA incentive deals and still failed to perform as advertised. Another was reportedly offered to prevent the company from leaving Michigan. ...For Kmart’s second MEGA deal, in 2000, the state’s consultants predicted that the incentive deal would generate exactly 753 jobs through 2013. The tally would be split, 450 direct jobs by the company and another 303 through “spin-off” employment, they said. The claims demonstrating this kind of exactitude are striking when you consider that the company filed for bankruptcy just 17 months later. Why trust the state with its claims of job creation 13 years out when it can’t see failure looming less than two years ahead? The company ultimately moved to Illinois..."

See the source imageInsurers should pay for kids' weight-loss surgery, pediatricians say
"The American Academy of Pediatrics called childhood obesity an "epidemic within an epidemic" because today's children and teens are not likely to have the life expectancy of their parents.
The organization said in its latest policy statement, published Oct. 27 in the journal Pediatrics, that metabolic and bariatric surgery should be considered a safe option for those with severe obesity. Those children face lifelong risks of death associated with obesity
The organization also recommended that insurers pay for the surgery and follow-up care..."

Sens. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and Josh Hawley, R-Mo., have proposed the Helping Infrastructure Restore the Economy Act.
"Moving agencies outside of Washington, D.C., both boosts local economies and lowers costs – that's a winning combination," said Blackburn in the announcement.
"This legislation would enable Americans across the country to have greater access to good jobs. Tennesseans would greatly benefit from having portions of the Department of Education in the Volunteer State. It is my hope that the HIRE Act will quickly pass the Senate."

Surprised they didn't do this at the time.

Child abuse!-----Transgendering Children is the New 'Munchhausen by Proxy' Child Abuse | Frontpagemag

"Munchhausen by Proxy is a familiar and ugly behavior in which parents, often mothers, seek attention by attributing illnesses to their children.
They successfully convince children, bystanders, sometimes even medical professionals, that their children are sick.
And they do this, often, by poisoning their children or otherwise interfering with their health.
The James Younger case seems to be showing some of the familiar symptoms of Munchhausen by Proxy.
A video has now come into public light where you can see the father asking James questions about whether or not he’s a girl or a boy. The child answers that he is a girl because his mother told him so.
“You’re a boy, right?” asks Younger.
“No, I’m a girl,” replies James.
“Who told you you’re a girl?” asks Younger.
“Mommy,” said James.

The father continued to ask questions of his young son about his preferences, including how “mommy puts you in a dress and puts nail polish on you?”
The son answers in the affirmative, noting that his mother buys him dresses, hairbands, and hairclips, and that he likes nail polish.“And what does mommy tell you?” asks the father.“She tells me I’m a girl,” replies James..."

College Professor: All White People Should Kill Themselves - Truth And Action
"White people should just kill themselves.
That’s the message one liberal professor told his Twitter followers.
Before you ask, the professor, Adam Kotsko, is himself white.
He just happens to hate his own race.
...The fact that this man — apparently a doctor — is allowed to teach college students is stunning.
Dr. (and I use that title lightly) Adam Kotsko, a professor at Shimer College in Chicago, Illinois, thinks that all white people have been “complicit” in slavery, and should therefore “commit mass suicide” as reparation.tweetingtwat

  • Facts and evidence argue just the opposite
"In his latest economic missive, to mark World Food Day last Wednesday, Pope Francis decried capitalism and business profits as the cause of starvation.
“The battle against hunger and malnutrition,” he wrote in a letter to the head of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, “will not end as long as the logic of the market prevails and profit is sought at any cost.”
The problem with this statement is that the facts and evidence demonstrate just the opposite..."
