Republican Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise took to the House floor Thursday to criticize the “sham process” that he said the Democrats’ impeachment resolution would cement.
Scalise argued that House Democrats had been engaging in Soviet-style tactics and that the proposed resolution, which only gives Republicans and President Donald Trump the chance to call witnesses or present a defense if the Democratic committee chair approved, was no better.

Image result for Paying MoneyFox News host Tucker Carlson floated the idea Monday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that universities and their large endowments should shoulder the burden of repaying student loans, not students and their families.

  • A recent survey found that 51 percent of American university students support punishing others who wear "highly offensive" costumes.
  • The number is even higher among Ivy League students.
"...The poll comes just days after a separate poll found that a majority of U.S. young adults believe that "hate speech" should not be protected under the First Amendment, with 47 percent of those between the ages of 18 and 34 saying that jail time would be an appropriate punishment for those who use such speech."

Boot took exception to a statement from the president that Islamic State terrorist leader Abu al-Baghdadi died in a cowardly fashion when he detonated a suicide vest after being cornered by U.S. military forces.
"The assertion that Baghdadi died as a coward was, in any case, contradicted by the fact that rather than be captured, he blew himself up," asserted Boot, who is a vociferous critic of the president.

Could Muskegon County Be Next Next Sanctuary County?
"When you hear a political body wanting to call their jurisdiction a “Welcoming Community” what first comes to mind?
I believe most common sense people think sanctuary “fill in the blank”.
Could Muskegon County Michigan be next on the ignore laws block?
MLive is reporting that a Muskegon County board resolution calls for making Muskegon County a “Welcoming Community”.
Really I had no idea that prior to this resolution they did not consider themselves a “welcoming community”, some apparently believe they need this resolution to prove it.  Has it been that bad to live in Muskegon County, a County that apparently some on their board believe it was not a “welcoming community”.
...Board Chairwoman Susie Hughes removed the resolution from Tuesday’s meeting agenda, she said it was because the board had agreed to talk about it during a committee of the whole meeting.
She also said the commissioners planned to insert the word “legal” before each mention of immigrants.
More than likely she removed it because that prevented residents from speaking about this “welcoming community” issue early on during public comment on items only on the agenda.
They appeared to not even be brave enough to take the heat of their own resolution.
I give credit to those residents who were on top of what the County Board was doing and stopped it for now.
We all need to be diligent on what our political bodies are doing at all levels of government.
“Welcoming Community” really!
Check out the first couple minutes of the video below and see what happens in these sanctuary counties or sorry I mean "welcoming communities":

First Common Core Graduates Worst-Prepared For College In 15 Years:
  • This is the opposite of what we were told would happen with trillions of taxpayer dollars and an entire generation of children who deserve not to have been guinea pigs in a failed national experiment.
See the source image"...It is thus still the case, as it was when the Coleman Report was released 53 years ago, that U.S. public schools do not lift children above the conditions of their home lives.
They add nothing to what children already do or do not get from at home...
But because the people in charge of U.S. education not only neither lose power nor credibility but actually profit when American kids fail, we can only expect things to get worse."

Ajple then slapped Youngblood's MAGA hat and leaned over the restaurant's gate railing and spit on him, TCPalm reported, citing a sheriff's office report.
The restaurant's manager released surveillance video of the incident, which "clearly shows" Ajple "slapping ... Youngblood's hat and leaning over the gate to spit on him," the magazine noted, citing an affidavit.

Colorado Study: Refugees Living in Cycle of Poverty – Refugee Resettlement Watch

Senators Ted Kennedy and Joe Biden designed the Refugee Act of 1980. They promised we wouldn’t be importing poverty! But, they knew that their industry pals needed cheap labor and that people in need of welfare vote for Democrats!

But, supplying cheap labor is why they are here in the first place especially in places like Colorado with its meat packing facilities dotting the state, and Big Meat’s voracious appetite for a steady supply of unskilled labor.
When now deceased Senator Ted Kennedy with the help of ‘Uncle Joe’ pushed through the Refugee Act of 1980  they promised we wouldn’t be importing poverty!
They lied.

Colorado’s Refugees Can Become Trapped In Chronic Poverty, Study Finds

(No kidding!)
Between the high cost of housing and shrinking federal funding for local organizations, many refugees resettled in Colorado find themselves stuck in chronic poverty. That’s according to new research from the University of Colorado Boulder, which studied refugee communities across the Front Range..."

Intercepting those codes can give a criminal an all-access pass to your financial and digital life...

Teachers union instructs members how to push identity politics on students | The College Fix

  • ‘We can’t ignore Trump’s bigotry and cruelty’
"America’s second-largest teachers union wants to educate its 1.7 million members in how to practice inclusion in the classroom.
Namely, by reminding students at every turn how they are different from others.
The fall issue of the American Federation of Teachers’ quarterly journal, American Educator, is brimming with calls for incorporating leftist ideologies into the classroom.
...AFT President Randi Weingarten focuses on the threat to democracy from President Trump in the opening essay, “A Defining Moment for Democracy,” and portrays teachers as a bulwark against intolerance toward opposing ideas.
Trump “has fanned biases that aim to dehumanize ‘the other’ and that erode our democracy,” she writes.
“We can’t ignore Trump’s bigotry and cruelty, or the fact that his erratic behavior is intended to create chaos and confusion.”
In the print version (below), Weingarten says the president is “leading a homegrown hate movement.”...

"...Your whole system of providing essential government services is screwed beyond repair.
The cumulative financial cost of bringing these systems back to normal pretty much ensures the government is going to watch its tax base walk out the door.

...It looks like PG&E shareholders will likely be completely wiped out.
It is unlikely that any new controlling party will bring the utility back from the dead.
So Californians should not discount the possibility that being without power is their new normal.
No one seems to know how the utility is going to survive at this point, and that’s a big problem for the millions of people they support.
The incredible irony in all of this is that the green state of California has been keeping the lights on during this period with privately procured generators running on… wait for it… fossil fuels..."
