The Justice Department Inspector General report released Monday vindicated long-held Republican concerns over Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse when it came to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s surveillance of a member of the Trump campaign.
House Intelligence Committee Republicans released their findings of potential abuses in a February 2019 report that found a “troubling breakdown of legal processes established to protect the American people from abuses related to the FISA process.”

Before he had a chance to decide if the new drapes in his office were going to be socialist red or blue state blue, Boudin announced that he would not prosecute quality-of-life crimes such as “public camping, offering or soliciting sex, public urination, blocking a sidewalk, etc.” We assume public defecating on streets and sidewalks, today’s San Francisco “treat,” will also go unprosecuted.

Taxpayers paying for sex change of man sentenced to death for raping, murdering young family

Taxpayers now paying for sex change of man sentenced to death for raping, murdering young familyTaxpayers paying for sex change of man sentenced to death for raping, murdering young family
"If the headline alone doesn’t give you chills and make you sick to your stomach…. the story itself will.
Two men were convicted of brutally raping and murdering a young family in Connecticut in the Cheshire home invasion case.

  • They were sentenced to death.
  • Then the Connecticut State Legislature abolished the death penalty – but for future cases.
  • Then in August 2015, in a final blow to the husband of the woman killed and the father of the young girls killed, the Connecticut Supreme Court defied the State Legislature and ruled that the death penalty was unconstitutional, then commuted all death sentences to life-in-prison, even if that sentencing took place prior to the date that the death penalty was abolished.
  • Now is where it gets mind-blowing. Taxpayers are now on the hook to not only cover the costs of Stephen Hayes’ incarceration (6 life sentences), but they are also footing the bill for Hayes to move forward with his newfound desire to transition into a woman.  One of the men convicted of killing a woman and her two daughters in the 2007 Cheshire home invasion Hayes allegedly has only recently realized he is transgender and is undergoing hormone therapy in prison.

  • The ongoing, rolling fact is – “green energy”…is neither green nor energy.
  • “Green energy” sources – are all demonstrably worse for the environment than the traditional energy sources (like coal and oil) they seek to replace.
  • Wind farms – are bird blender fields.  And the turbines – are uber-toxic.
  • So too are solar panels unnatural environmental disasters.
  • And the alleged energy produced by “green energy” – is a tiny fraction of the energy produced by traditional sources.  So the respective costs-per-kilowatt-hour – are ridiculously inefficient.
  • Wind Turbine Costs More than It Saves
  • Solar Uses More Energy to Manufacture Than It Produces
  • Which is where the government money enters the picture.

The Canadian economy lost over 71,000 jobs in November — the worst decline in a decade.
The news from Statistics Canada was released Friday, just as the House of Commons resumed sitting after October’s federal election. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau barely retained power with a minority government that is largely dependent on the socialist New Democratic Party voting with Trudeau’s Liberals on key legislation.

Read it all, funny!-----JAMES LILEKS--Venice Flooding Caused by Gas Stoves? | National Review

"Venice suffered some historic floods in November, and we all know what the cause is: not its proximity to this strange, heaving body of liquid some call “the sea,” or the fact that Venice admits “the sea” into its city limits with a series of picturesque canals, or the fact that the entire city rests on logs and has sunk a bit over the years.

  • No, it’s your gas stove.
  • Also your shower.
  • And your hamburger.

The solution?
Stop letting women control the temperature in the house.
It’s the only logical conclusion, but we need to set this up..."

Democrats used a deceptively edited video of President Donald Trump in Wednesday’s first House Judiciary Committee hearing on impeachment, using “experts” in constitutional law to claim, falsely, that he believes he has absolute power.
As Breitbart News White House Correspondent Charlie Spiering pointed out Friday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) misquoted Trump when she made the case for articles of impeachment on Thursday morning.

How the Boston Globe creates Fake News - Public Editor - MA
"How is “fake news” created by the media and published by the Boston Globe?
Today’s example shows us how.
Bank of America does a quarterly survey on small business trends.
Last May, the media covered the results and Yahoo News reported them this way: 59% of small business owners say tariffs won’t affect them.”...
...But unlike May’s news, this is reported as a negative story about Donald Trump.
The headline is “Survey finds small businesses hurt by Trump tariffs.”
Wow, what a turnaround.
If the survey found such results, the numbers must have taken an incredible dive.
What percentage of these small businesses were “hurt” by the “Trump” tariffs?
Get ready, because the answer is stunning.
The percent hurt by the tariffs is ..18 or 19%..."

GM Crops Like Golden Rice Will Save the Lives of Hundreds of Thousands of Children - Quillette

GM Crops Like Golden Rice Will Save the Lives of Hundreds of Thousands of Children - Quillette
"Any day now, the government of Bangladesh may become the first country to approve the growing of a variety of yellow rice by farmers known as Golden Rice.
If so, this would be a momentous victory in a long and exhausting battle fought by scientists and humanitarians to tackle a huge human health problem—a group that’s faced a great deal of opposition by misguided critics of genetically modified foods.
Golden Rice, by contrast, was produced in the 1990s by carefully inserting just two naturally occurring genes known to be safe—from maize and from a common soil bacterium—into a rice plant, disturbing no other genes.
It is quite literally golden: its yellow color indicates that it has beta carotene in it, the precursor of vitamin A.
It was developed as a humanitarian, non-profit project in an attempt to prevent somewhere between 200,000 and 700,000 people, many of them children, dying prematurely every year in poor countries because of vitamin A deficiency.
(Vitamin A deficiency causes children to go blind and lose immune function.)
Yet the rice has been ferociously opposed by opponents of GM foods and, partly as a result, has been tied up in red tape for 20 years, preventing it from being grown.
One study in 2008 calculated that in India alone 1.38 million person-years of healthy life had been lost for every year the crop has been delayed..."

Why the elites really hate Trump - American Thinker

Why the elites really hate Trump - American Thinker
"...Donald Trump is a salesman.
What he sells is himself and the Trump brand.
Bill Gates made his money with computer software, so he might not be too concerned with how people view the name Gates.
Donald Trump made his money in hotels and resorts, where it's important to have a name like Hilton as opposed to a name like Motel 6.
...Donald Trump is a modern-day P.T. Barnum.
...The character that Donald Trump has become is loathed by a large portion of society to a degree that many of us find hard to understand.
Nobody hates anyone this much unless it is personal, and the hatred of President Trump by the elite is very personal...

  • The elite pretend to be compassionate, but they hated people in fly-over country for years before the people in fly-over country finally started to hate them back.
  • The elite believe themselves to be brilliant, but they turned world production over to a brutal regime in China, creating not only a ruthless superpower, but also an unsustainable world economy where we keep printing and borrowing money to buy goods from the Chinese plantation factories.
  • The elite believe themselves to be honest, but they cannot see their own corruption, or the corruption of their elite friends, and they cannot see the reasonableness of asking for that corruption to be investigated, as in the case of Hunter Biden.

Donald Trump is an intelligent, compassionate though sometimes ruthless businessman who took on a persona to build his business.
After our elite ran the country into the ground by their corruption and incompetence, it was Donald Trump who led the revolt against them.
Then Donald Trump came into Washington still having the persona he used to build his business, still playing a caricature of society's elite.
This is divine intervention.
When Hollywood actors, or the media and political elite, look at Donald Trump, they see themselves.
They may not realize they see themselves, but they do.
But unlike President Trump, the elite truly are egomaniacs, and they are blowhards, and they are buffoons.
This is why they hate President Trump so much."
