Chicago Mayor Launches Police Raid to Stop Black Church’s Sunday Services:
On Sunday, Chicago’s first openly gay mayor, Lori Lightfoot, mounted a raid on a black South Side church for holding services in defiance of her coronavirus lockdown orders.
Lightfoot reportedly sent three marked squad cars and two unmarked cars full of officers to the Chicago Cornerstone Baptist Church in the South Side’s Woodlawn neighborhood. Woodlawn is just south of Hyde Park, the area in which the Obamas lived for a short time before Barack became president.

“This is a lie and you know it,” tweeted National Republican Senatorial Committee senior advisor Matt Whitlock of the misleading side-by-side.
“Truly is remarkable how one can be golfing at the same time holding a memorial in Arlington,” tweeted another user, along with a video of Trump at the cemetery.
The Students for Trump page called O’Brien the “CEO of fake news.”

The CDC just came out with a report that should be earth-shattering to the narrative of the political class, yet it will go into the thick pile of vital data and information about the virus that is not getting out to the public. For the first time, the CDC has attempted to offer a real estimate of the overall death rate for COVID-19, and under its most likely scenario, the number is 0.26%. Officials estimate a 0.4% fatality rate among those who are symptomatic and project a 35% rate of asymptomatic cases among those infected, which drops the overall infection fatality rate (IFR) to just 0.26% — almost exactly where Stanford researchers pegged it a month ago.

"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has changed its guidance once again, acknowledging new information on its website was confusing about the low risk of contracting COVID-19 from contaminated surfaces.
The CDC is now saying coronavirus can “possibly” be spread on surfaces and objects, though the virus is mainly transmitted between people.
This is not the first time the nation’s premier public health agency has had to reverse course on information related to the coronavirus pandemic, including the agency’s evolving guidance on whether a face mask should or should not be worn in public.
- The CDC initially changed the information about transmission risk from surfaces Wednesday, saying the novel coronavirus “does not spread easily” by “touching surfaces or objects.”
- In March, CDC warned “it may be possible” to spread the coronavirus on surfaces and objects.
- Two months later, the CDC updated its website advisory to classify surfaces as a medium by which the virus does not easily spread...
