China Will "Definitely Start A Just War" If US Troops Return To Taiwan: State Media | Zero Hedge
Hu Xijn, the editor of China's English language mouthpiece publication geared toward Western audiences, Global Times, is at it again "relaying" Beijing's threats and warnings.
He took aim at a US Marine Corps authored editorial written in Military Review in a tweet which unleashed headlines, including in Newsweek. The American military publication called for a US ground troops deployment to Taiwan to restore the regional balance of power in Washington's favor.
The Marine author urged this of the Pentagon "if it is committed to defending Taiwanese sovereignty." Hu shot back, likely echoing Beijing's view in his usual hawkish manner, that "the PLA will definitely start a just war to safeguard China’s territorial integrity" if there are US troops stationed in Taiwan...Read all.

Four graphs prove the utter failure of lockdowns and masks | Behind The Black

Four graphs prove the utter failure of lockdowns and masks | Behind The Black
"The data is now in.
Not only is the coronavirus nothing more than a very bad flu, harmless to the vast majority of the population, the bad policy imposed by almost all governments worldwide has done nothing to alleviate it, and in fact has probably helped kill people, from both the virus and their bad policy.
This conclusion is starkly illustrated in the following four graphs (source), all of which show the history of COVID-19 during the entire 2020 epidemic, now clearly ending. All four graphs are updates of graphs I’ve referenced previously, but now they take us through the epidemic’s present waning, and give us a better context of both the virus’ flu-like nature and the terrible policies imposed by governments in their panic over it.
Daily mortality from COVID-19 in the U.S.
First to the right we have the daily mortality numbers for the entire United States.
The steady drop in deaths since epidemic’s second peak on August 12th is very evident.
The epidemic appears to be winding down, though very slowly. Furthermore, it had an unusual summer peak that is almost never seen in such respiratory diseases. The reasons for both the slowness of the virus’s decay and its second peak will become clear as we look at the next three graphs, covering the epidemic’s peak in New York, New Jersey, and California...Read all.

Thin Blue Line Flag Goes the Way of Confederate Statues - Victory Girls Blog

Thin Blue Line Flag Goes the Way of Confederate Statues - Victory Girls Blog
"At a time when NFL players wear “social justice” stickers on their helmets and schools are indoctrinating our children against the fundamental values our nation was built upon, yet another school has banned the Thin Blue Line flag.
Forget about honoring the good cops.
Someone was upset by the flag and by what it represented.
So it had to go the way of everything that upsets the Left’s fragile sensibilities.
Whats next?
Caelan Lavender is a a junior offensive lineman at Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, FL. Lavender’s father died unexpectedly last year. Prior to his death, he had been a police officer for 29 years. For 11 games last year, Caelan carried the Thin Blue Line flag to honor his father as the team came onto the field before a game.
This week, Caelan learned he would no longer be allowed to carry the flag.
The reason?
A few folks took to social media to complain...Read all.

According to a statement on the governor's website, Newsom believes that this order will "move the state further away from its reliance on climate change-causing fossil fuels while retaining and creating jobs and spurring economic growth."

Ron Johnson on Hunter Biden Report: I Think We've Caught Joe Biden in 'a Lie'

Thursday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) reacted to a U.S. Senate report highlighting potential wrongdoing with business dealings involving 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden.
Johnson said the “troubling” findings show the former vice president has been caught in “a lie” by denying having spoken with his son about his dealings in Ukraine.

Florida sheriff uses pictures to help confused press: 'This is a peaceful protest. This is a riot.' - TheBlaze

As TheBlaze has frequently documented, sometimes the media have difficulty distinguishing between peaceful protests and destructive riots. Well, one Florida sheriff decided to provide a visual aid for members of the press who can't seem to tell the difference.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd on Monday held up photos contrasting a peaceful protest with a violent riot at a news conference announcing new anti-riot legislation.
"I can tell you folks so that there's no misunderstanding today," Sheriff Judd said as he held the photos. "This is a peaceful protest. This is a riot. We can tell the difference. The governor can tell the difference. Our law enforcement officers can tell the difference."

"The Minnesota State High School League has reversed course, finally falling into line with neighboring states by reinstating the fall seasons for football and volleyball.
Now if schools could only convince the MSHSL to overturn an unprecedented rate increase the league directly attributes to COVID-19 that will raise rates by 300 percent at some schools in the midst of the pandemic...
Area schools are searching for the money to pay for this almost $10,000 increase just as the school year gets rolling...Read all.

Senate Report Suggests Joe Biden Misled About What He Knew About Hunter Biden's Business Dealings

The report, released Wednesday by two Senate committees, suggests that Biden was briefed about the fact that his son’s dealings with Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas conglomerate, suggested a conflict of interest for the Obama administration.
The report, which was made public on Wednesday, indicates that at least two individuals raised concerns about Hunter Biden’s service on Burisma’s board of directors during the former vice president’s tenure in office.

Arresting People For Not Wearing Masks Is Another Giant Step Toward Total Tyranny

Arresting People For Not Wearing Masks Is Another Giant Step Toward Total Tyranny
"If anyone doubts that the country that many of us loved so much is almost totally gone, just look at what is going on all around the U.S. right now.
People are actually being arrested and put in prison for not wearing masks.
If authorities are willing to get this extreme during a relatively minor pandemic, what are they going to do to us when a true national emergency breaks out?
I certainly don’t have anything against anyone that wants to wear a mask, and I certainly don’t have a problem with officials that want to encourage everyone to wear one.
But when it gets to a point where the police are actively hunting for “non-conformers” and are dragging them off to prison in handcuffs, that should tell all of us that we aren’t living in a free country anymore.
I am sure that by now most of you have heard what happened to a woman in Ohio that was attending a middle school football game.
She had the audacity not to wear a mask, and so a police officer used a taser on her, arrested her and dragged her away in handcuffs…

Breonna Taylor protesters threaten to 'knock out' restaurant patrons

"Protesters inflamed by the decision not to charge cops for Breonna Taylor’s death took their anger out on a couple dining in Florida — gatecrashing their table and threatening to knock the man the “f–k out.”
A man clutching a skateboard was filmed by a Tampa Bay Times reporter as he strolled up and sat with the couple at their outdoor table as dozens chanted at the edge of the St. Petersburg restaurant.“No! This is my table,” the female diner told him, trying to push him from the chair — only to have three other protesters stroll over and join them...Read all.

The Sinister Lights of Perverted Science | Rabbi Daniel Lapin

The Sinister Lights of Perverted Science | Rabbi Daniel Lapin
Science doesn’t lie—some scientists do.  Up till the 1970s, California was building, cleaning, and maintaining fire breaks around residential communities in forested areas. Fire roads were bulldozed and kept usable for large firefighting equipment. This provided rapid access allowing fires to be fought while they were still small. Going back to Spanish times, controlled burning, backfires and removal of dead undergrowth in the forests all kept fires controllable. Up until the 1970s, any fire that burned 10,000 acres was considered a huge conflagration because fires were fought effectively and they were quickly extinguished.
Then came the radical environmental movement declaring with a religious zeal that nature is sacred. Mother Earth must not be alienated nor angered by bulldozing access roads through forests or by clearing underbrush. Today, fires regularly consume a quarter of a million acres.
However, the New York Times has a different explanation for the increase in both the number and the size of California fires: “…Scientists say climate change —

"Spontaneous".

Why Can't We Talk About George Soros’s Plan To Remake America?

Why Can't We Talk About George Soros’s Plan To Remake America?
  • Since 2015, George Soros has pumped tens of millions of dollars into local races in Texas, Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, Florida, and New York, as well as swing states.
...(On FNC) Gingrich brought up the indisputable fact that Soros has been spending what can only be described as unprecedented amounts of money on local races in recent years, with a goal of flipping DA races to far-left “progressive” candidates who will implement soft-on-crime policies that inevitably result in skyrocketing crime rates and violent criminals walking free.

In response, Harf and Francis objected: “George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation.” Harf went so far as to deny that Soros is buying these races, and Faulkner did not step in to correct her. The segment ends in awkward silence as a disappointed Gingrich remarks that it’s apparently “verboten” to speak about Soros on Fox News now.
