Whacked out libs!-----Baltimore Museum of Art sale of Warhol painting criticized - The Washington Post

Baltimore Museum of Art sale of Warhol painting criticized - The Washington Post
"The Baltimore Museum of Art continues to be hit by criticism and turmoil — including the resignations of artists Amy Sherald and Adam Pendleton from the board of trustees — since announcing earlier this month that it would sell three paintings by Andy Warhol, Clyfford Still and Brice Marden to generate $65 million for diversity and equity programs.
Now, two former museum board chairmen say they’ve rescinded planned gifts totaling $50 million.
...Other donors Newhall has spoken to are considering canceling gifts...
Newhall rejected Segal’s statement and characterized it as part of a pattern. “We never put anything in writing, but I ran that campaign for five years. I’m sure it’s in the minutes of the various board meetings,” he said. “That’s what they are doing about everything. They are denying everything. They lie.”
...The BMA intends to spend $10 million to acquire art made by women and artists of color and $1 million for equity programs.
It will place the balance — an estimated $54 million — in an endowment that will yield $2 million to $2.5 million annually for the museum’s work to improve equity, diversity and inclusion.
Bedford said the museum had “a moral imperative” to undertake a bold plan to address systemic racism and injustice...Read all.

30 Officers Injured in Anti-Police Protests in Philadelphia - Washington Free Beacon
"At least 30 police officers were injured in Philadelphia on Monday night—including one sergeant who was hit by a truck—while responding to anti-police riots.
Unrest broke out in West Philadelphia after police fatally shot a black man who, they say, had brandished a knife while running toward officers.
NBC 10 Philadelphia reported that rioters then set police cars and dumpsters on fire and looted stores and restaurants.
Rioters also threw rocks and other projectiles at dozens of officers, who were later taken to the hospital.
The sergeant who was hit by a truck sustained a broken leg but is in stable condition...Read all.

Anti-Cop Rioters Injure 30 Philadelphia Police Officers -- 1 Remains Hospitalized

Rioters in Philadelphia sent 30 police officers to the hospital during the chaos that ensued following the officer-involved shooting of an armed Black man. One female police sergeant remains hospitalized with a broken leg sustained after being run down by a pickup truck. Riots and looting broke out Monday night in Philadelphia after two police officers shot and killed a Black man who chased them with a knife, Breitbart News reported.  Hundreds of protesters took to the streets and began assaulting officers, looting vehicles and stores, and setting at least one police vehicle on fire.

From the left-coast paradise. Soon to visit your state?

"We here in 2nd-world California don’t have drifting snow (hi, Colorado!) but we don’t have electricity either.
Our utility, PG&E, has imposed yet another “Public Safety Power Shutdown,” beginning at 8:00 p.m. last night and continuing until who knows when.
(All the areas marked with a magenta triangle on the map have no power.)
PG&E’s justification is that high winds were forecast, causing extreme fire danger.
But, there hasn’t been even a mild breeze, before the shutdown or since then.
Apparently no one at PG&E can stick their head out a window and look at the ACTUAL WEATHER. So we’ve once again rolled the generator out of the garage and fired it up, so at least we can keep the refrigerator running, the lights on, and our phones charged.
(A gasoline-powered generator has to be one of the dirtiest means of generating electricity.)
Come to find that our Internet provider, Comcast, in solidarity with PG&E, has shut down all Internet service to the affected areas, despite the fact that the cable is UNDERGROUND and poses no fire risk.
This is what happens when the state imposes strict liability on utilities for all fire damages caused by a downed wire, regardless of negligence.
The utility has zero incentives to keep the power on."

Video: Female Cop Run Over by BLM Mob in Philadelphia

A video out of Philadelphia shows a female police officer being run over by a truck driven by BLM rioters as another night of chaos unfolded.

The rioters hit the streets after the police shooting of Walter Wallace Jr. in an incident being described as yet another unprovoked murder of a black man.

In reality, footage of the incident shows Wallace Jr. ignoring numerous warnings from police officers to drop the weapon as he advances on them before being shot.

However, as we have seen multiple times over the past 5 months, Black Lives Matter agitators don’t let the facts get in the way of yet another chance to riot.

A female sergeant suffered a broken leg as she was struck by a speeding vehicle.

"You Better Apologize For That!": Rudy Giuliani Goes Nuclear On Fox Host After Christopher Steele Comparison | Zero Hedge

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani unloaded on Fox Business host Kennedy after she compared him to Christopher Steele, the former UK spook who Hillary Clinton's campaign paid to fabricate a now-debunked dossier alleging ties between President Trump and the Kremlin.

After host Lisa "Kennedy" Montgomery began framing a question about Biden corruption with "it sounds like there may be something here that is fishy that is giving Americans pause, and now there's stuff that - uh, might have been completely adulterated..." adding "Some could say that you were acting like Christopher Steele. That you were extracting information --"

To which Giuliani interjected: "You've gotta be kidding me. I was acting like Christopher Steele?"

"That's what it sounds like," the former MTV VJ responded...Read all!!!

Delingpole: Why Won't Journals Publish Landmark Danish Mask Study?

  • Do masks protect against Chinese coronavirus and reduce its spread — or are they, as their critics maintain, mere empty gesture politics?

A major study which might finally have answered this question has been postponed indefinitely after three of the world’s top three medical journals mysteriously declined to publish it.

Danish newspaper Berlingske reports:

The researchers behind a large and unique Danish study on the effect of wearing a mask are having great difficulty in getting their research results published. One of the participating professors in the study admits that the still secret research result could be perceived as ‘controversial’....Read all.
