More Suspicious Elections Absentee Data from Detroit: 36% of Absentee Ballots Returned Were From People Who Were Not Listed as Being Sent an Absentee Ballot

The rate of missing data for when an absentee ballot was sent to a voter is four times greater in heavily Democrat Detroit/Wayne County than in the rest of the state.  Of the 566,788 absentee ballots cast in Wayne County, the absentee data file provided by the Michigan Secretary of State indicates that 203,311 ballots show that no application for an absentee ballot was mailed or sent to that voter by their local clerk, which is a rate of roughly 36%.

JHU Study Says COVID-19 Had 'Relatively No Effect on Deaths' in U.S.

"Conventional wisdom is that COVID-19 has caused thousands of deaths in the United States and nearly 1.5 million worldwide.
This perception has been directly challenged by a study published by Johns Hopkins University on November 22.
Genevieve Briand, assistant program director of the Applied Economics master’s degree program at Johns Hopkins University, critically analyzed the impact that COVID-19 had on U.S. deaths.
According to Briand, the impact of COVID-19 on deaths in the United States can be fully understood by comparing it to the number of total deaths in the country.
According to the study, “in contrast to most people’s assumptions, the number of deaths by COVID-19 is not alarming.
In fact, it has relatively no effect on deaths in the United States.”...Read all.

The Great (Dystopian) Reset

The Great (Dystopian) Reset

Everything that's happened so far in 2020 – lockdowns, destruction of small businesses, crippled economy – is an attempt to shove people into such desperate circumstances that they'll beg their elite overlords to "save" them.

And what will world rulers have once economies crash, poverty becomes rampant and people are desperate? To these power-mad rulers, it's better to reign in hell than serve in heaven. They elites don't care if they destroy the greatest nation with the greatest economy on earth; they'd rather reign in hell. The love of money (or power, since money = power) is indeed the root of all evil.

Covid hysteria! From a covid-hysteria site!-----US Coronavirus: Nearly 60,000 Americans could die of Covid-19 in the next 3 weeks. There are ways to turn things around, experts say

US Coronavirus: Nearly 60,000 Americans could die of Covid-19 in the next 3 weeks. There are ways to turn things around, experts say:
"...The US on Thursday marked the 24th day in a row with more than 100,000 new cases.
Hospitalizations hit a new high -- for the 17th consecutive day -- with more than 90,400 Covid-19 patients nationwide, according to the COVID Tracking Project.
The country's death toll since the pandemic's start is now more than 263,000.
And nearly another 60,000 people could lose their lives over the next three weeks, according to an ensemble forecast published by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week.
The number of daily deaths will likely double in the next 10 days, prolonging a sense of loss and isolation in a season traditionally spent with family and friends.
"So, we'll be seeing close to 4,000 deaths a day, which is how you get another 60,000 deaths in only about 20 days," Dr. Jonathan Reiner, a professor of medicine at George Washington University, said Wednesday...Read all.

Fauci Warns Pandemic Won't Lessen by Christmas or New Year's | Newsmax.com:
"Dr. Anthony Fauci told USA Today in a recent interview that the coronavirus pandemic will likely remain ongoing during the Christmas and New Year's holidays despite hopes for a vaccine by then.
"If the surge takes a turn of continuing to go up and you have the sustained greater than 100,000 infections a day and 1,300 deaths per day and the count keeps going up and up ...
I don't see it being any different during the Christmas and New Year's holidays than during Thanksgiving

  • "...Results:
A total of 3030 participants ...
  • Limitation:
Inconclusive results, missing data, variable adherence, patient-reported findings on home tests, no blinding, and no assessment of whether masks could decrease disease transmission from mask wearers to others.
  • Conclusion:
The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection...Read all.

HOW THE LEFT MANUFACTURED A FOLK DEVIL.

Instapundit--HOW THE LEFT MANUFACTURED A FOLK DEVIL.

JORDAN PETERSON: HOW THE LEFT MANUFACTURED A FOLK DEVIL.

Over the past few days, Jordan Peterson’s critics have been doing their utmost to publicise his forthcoming book, Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life. The famous clinical psychologist announced the publication on his YouTube channel on Monday, and within hours the book was being widely denounced on social media for its hateful content. This is quite a feat of the collective imagination, given that nobody has read it yet.

Much of the furore has come about because employees at the Canadian branch of the publisher, Penguin Random House, have called for the book to be cancelled...

...This is just the latest example of a new trend of activist employees threatening to strike for ideological reasons...

As Ray Bradbury predicted in Fahrenheit 451, books will be burned to protect everyone’s feelings as much as to block the content within them.

But I’m not sure if even he would have predicted that it would be the publishers’ staffers who would be manning the flamethrowers...:

Report: Moscow Plans Social Credit System

Report: Moscow Plans Social Credit System

Open Media, a Russian Internet freedom news portal, reported on Tuesday that Moscow is preparing to implement a “social credit” system similar to the one used in China.

Social credit systems monitor residents in various ways and feed huge amounts of data about them into algorithms that evaluate the quality of their citizenship, including their loyalty to the ruling regime. Those flagged as “poor citizens” can find themselves automatically stripped of benefits, barred from employment, or prevented from traveling, usually with little chance of appealing the system’s judgments.

"...Sheriffs in four New York counties said last week on social media that they would not be enforcing the coronavirus rules, claiming their jurisdiction does not apply inside people’s homes and that the orders were not constitutionally defensible.
Cuomo...“I believe that law enforcement officer violates his or her constitutional duty. I don't consider them a law enforcement officer. Because you don't have the right to pick laws that you think you will enforce, and you don't enforce laws that you don't agree with. Right. That's not a law enforcement officer. That's a dictator,” he added. “God bless you,” Cuomo added. “But don't ask me for help.”

  • The CDC must be transparent about the side effects people may experience after getting their first shot of a coronavirus vaccine, doctors urged during a meeting Monday with CDC advisors.
  • Dr. Sandra Fryhofer said that both Pfizer’s and Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines require two doses and she worries whether her patients will come back for a second dose because of potentially unpleasant side effects after the first shot.
  • Both companies acknowledged that their vaccines could induce side effects that are similar to symptoms associated with mild Covid-19, such as muscle pain, chills and headache.
