Pennsylvania judge rules GOP lawsuit challenging new absentee ballot law has 'likelihood to succeed' - TheBlaze

The Pennsylvania judge who temporarily halted the certification of election results in the Keystone State issued an opinion Friday explaining that the Republican plaintiffs in her case will likely win on the merits of their lawsuit.  As TheBlaze reported, Commonwealth Judge Patricia McCullough issued an injunction Wednesday after Republican lawmakers made an emergency request to stop certification of the state's election results over concerns about Act 77, a new law that allowed Pennsylvania voters to obtain an absentee ballot for the election for any reason. Later school start may reduce migraines for high school students, study says - UPI.com
"Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Starting the school day later could aid high school students with migraine headaches, a study published Wednesday journal Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain.
Subjects whose school day started prior to 8:30a.m. reported more migraines days -- averaging 7.7 per month -- than those who began later, who had nearly three fewer headache days, said researchers at the University of California, San Francisco.
The researchers attributed the results in part to the natural body clock of high school students, which tend to favor late-to-bed, early-to-rise habits.
...She noted that between 8% and 12% of adolescents suffer from migraines...Read all.

"Socialism has been tried 42 times in the last 100 years, and 42 failures, it doesn't work, it's the wrong way. We have to keep capitalism, I would argue, we need conscious capitalism," he continued. According to Mackey, capitalism and business innovation overall is responsible for increased living conditions worldwide, has increased global literacy rates, and is even responsible for increasing life expectancy.

“Shredding The Fabric Of Our Democracy”: Biden Aide Signals Push For Greater Censorship On The Internet
"...President-elect Joe Biden has himself called for such censorship, including blocking President Donald Trump’s criticism of mail-in voting.
Now, shortly after the election, one of Biden’s top aides is ramping up calls for a crackdown on Facebook for allowing Facebook users to read views that he considers misleading — users who signed up to hear from these individuals.
Bill Russo, a deputy communications director on Biden’s campaign press team, tweeted late Monday that Facebook “is shredding the fabric of our democracy” by allowing such views to be shared freely.
...Russo’s comments mirror the comments of other Democrats who are seeking greater censorship...Read all.

Victor Davis Hanson: If Trump Takes a Lesson from Andrew Jackson, 2024 Will Be Interesting Indeed

Victor Davis Hanson: If Trump Takes a Lesson from Andrew Jackson, 2024 Will Be Interesting Indeed:
"Donald Trump is nearing a crossroads.
  • ...The harassment during the transition became thematic for Trump’s next four years, which saw false evidence submitted to federal courts
  • and other classified documents illegally leaked.
  • No prior president has faced such hysterical opposition bent on removing him from office by a special prosecutor, concocted charges that he

should be deposed under the 25th Amendment and,
  • finally, a failed attempt at removal via impeachment.
  • The president’s private phone calls to foreign leaders were leaked.
  • Media darlings and anonymous opponents within the government boasted of sabotaging Trump’s initiatives.
  • Washington analysts and retired military officers hyped coup scenarios about how best to use force to remove him from office.
So it is a bit rich for the media to now warn of Trump’s dangers to the spirit of smooth presidential transitions.
Such protocols were deliberately rendered null and void in 2016.
But all that is past.
What matters now are the interests of the country first and Trump’s constituents second.
So Trump has a number of pathways...Read all.

Forensic analysis by a former military intelligence analyst alleges proof of foreign interference and/or access in the election. It shows Dominion’s voting machine server connected to Iran, China and Serbia. Also, the analyst says records show HongKong Shanghai Bank became collateral agent for Dominion voting systems on Sept. 25, 2019. The declaration is contained in the lawsuit filed by attorney Sidney Powell and includes screen shots and a summary of the evidence.

Detroit worker Jessy Jacob states in a declaration that she witnessed and was instructed to backdate thousands of absentee ballots the day after the election to make them appear legal even though they were not in the Qualified Voter File and had not arrived by the deadline. She also testified that leading up to Election Day, Detroit poll workers skipped voter ID checks.

Wayne County Board of Canvassing member William Hartmann, a Republican, says in a sworn declaration that Michigan's largest county certified results knowing there were massive discrepancies between the approved voter files and the ballots cast and counted in Detroit. 71% of Detroit’s 134 absentee voter counting boards were “left unbalanced” and many unexplained, he said in a statement. He also said birth dates in voter ID files were “altered.”

In an Oakland County commissioner race, incumbent Republican Adam Kochenderfer was told he lost, but a later review determined he won. The director of elections blamed the mistake on “a computer issue” that caused Rochester Hills to incorrectly send in results for “seven precincts as both precinct votes and absentee votes” when they should only have been counted once, as absentees.

Results were reversed in Antrim County after it first appeared Biden beat Trump in a landslide by 6,000 votes there. Michigan officials later blamed “user error” for the incorrect results, and declared Trump actually won the county. The state blamed an Antrim County clerk for failing to properly “update software used to collect voting machine data.” The reason the information got a second look is because people who know the county thought the initial Biden landslide seemed unlikely. But officials say the mishap never affected totals.

Covid Was Hiding Among Colds and Flus - WSJ

Covid Was Hiding Among Colds and Flus - WSJ
"Here are some Covid realities that we’ve long alluded to that might be useful to spell out in the current surge.
U.S. government scientists now estimate that 40% of cases are asymptomatic and 80% of symptomatic cases are mild—in short, 88% of subjects don’t know they are infected or have no great incentive to find out if they are suffering from Covid or some more familiar bug.
An American adult typically suffers two colds a year, while school-age children may suffer 10 or more, and 20 million of us get the flu.
A conservative estimate, then, is that 13 million Americans every day suffer from something not readily distinguishable from mild Covid (never mind asymptomatic Covid).
This perhaps explains why, despite conducting 186 million tests since the plague arrived, we’ve found only 12.7 million cases.
Most who have Covid aren’t getting tested; among those seeking tests the large majority are suffering from something that isn’t Covid.
The implications have been slow to sink in.
Embarrassing as America’s early testing fumbles were, the consequences were likely small...Read all.

Gov. Mike Parson to Missourians: 'Government has no business' regulating gatherings in homes - TheBlaze

Like other leaders across the U.S., Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) reminded his constituents ahead of the Thanksgiving Day to be cautious about COVID-19. But instead of handing down government dictates ahead of the festivities, Parson did just the opposite: he reminded Missourians of their rights, and vowed not to step on them.

Student newspaper deletes article on study that found COVID has had little effect on U.S. deaths this year | The College Fix

  • Medical professor denounces ‘impact’ rationale: ‘this is not acceptable in science’"
"Johns Hopkins University’s independent student newspaper contributed to the public understanding of COVID-19 with an article on a JHU scholar who found no notable change in total U.S. deaths this year.
For four days.
Apparently stung by blowback for highlighting research that violates the established orthodoxy on COVID-19, the News-Letter removed the Nov. 22 article, which included several illuminating graphs, but didn’t say anything about it was factually wrong. (It’s archived.)
“Though making clear the need for further research, the article was being used to support false and dangerous inaccuracies about the impact of the pandemic,” the newspaper tweeted Thursday night.
“We regret that this article may have contributed to the spread of misinformation about COVID-19.”

DeSantis opposed lockdowns in an October speech, according to Florida Politics.“Biden has said if some scientist tells him to shut down he’s going to shut down the country.
