Reporter Sues Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot for Discrimination - Louder With Crowder

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is two years into her first term in office. To mark the occasion, she is discriminating against white reporters who want to ask her about it. One white reporter is taking her to court. Thomas Catenacci, a caucasian reporter working for the Daily Caller News Foundation, has been denied access to the mayor after multiple attempts. The lawsuit alleges this is "clearly blocking press freedom through racial discrimination." In other words, LAWYER UP!

She IS the democrat party! Creepy, clueless, crass!

Snowflake students getting flakier!-----Citing their ‘feelings,’ university theater students rail against play selection

Citing their ‘feelings,’ university theater students rail against play selection
  • Western Washington University theater students are trying to cancel their department’s fall play since their “identities” were “grossly misrepresented in this decision.”
  • In addition to “trigger warnings” for sexual harassment and “inappropriate portrayals of gender and sexuality,” the students are concerned that depictions of isolation would be “mentally taxing” due to recent COVID-19 quarantines.
"According to a letter from students to the school’s theater department, the play “No Exit” by Jean-Paul Satre “holds problematic themes.”
As Encyclopedia Britannica describes, the 1944 play centers upon three recently deceased individuals and their experience in the author’s perception of hell.
One of the characters, Inez, is a predatory lesbian.
“When choosing a play for the upcoming season, there seemed to be a blind spot: gender and sexuality were not considered,” wrote the students. “
We understand that this is a piece that is meant to challenge us as a department, but this play is not challenging if it doesn’t allow us to feel safe. We as students do not shy away from challenging pieces, but we will be critiquing the department if they create an unsafe space for us to create art.”...Read all.

Memorial Day: A Marine's perspective on gratitude and sacrifice - Sandboxx
"Memorial Day rings a bit differently for veterans than it does for many civilians.
For many of us, the mournful reflection of this holiday isn’t a general remembrance of the sacrifices men and women have made on our behalf over the years… for some of us, that mournful reflection comes attached to specific names: friends, loved ones, brothers or sisters in arms that we’ve lost...
...Memorial Day isn’t about loss, it’s about sacrifice.
At times, they look alike, and truth be told, in our hearts, they even feel alike… but the differences between them are significant...Read all.

USS Thresher (SSN-593) (documentary)

"The second USS Thresher (SSN-593) was the lead boat of her class of nuclear-powered attack submarines in the United States Navy.
Her loss at sea in the North Atlantic during deep-diving tests approximately 220 miles east of Boston, Massachusetts, on 10 April 1963 was a watershed event for the U.S. Navy, leading to the implementation of a rigorous submarine safety program known as SUBSAFE.
Judging by the 129 crew members and shipyard personnel who were killed in the incident, historic context and significance, the sinking of Thresher was then, and remains today, the world's worst submarine disaster.
As the first nuclear submarine lost at sea, its disappearance generated international shock and sympathy."

Ron DeSantis: Lockdowns are Making Voters Switch to GOP - Louder With Crowder

Ron DeSantis: Lockdowns are Making Voters Switch to GOP - Louder With Crowder

One of the great ironies of America is how voters - Democrat ones - will vote for politicians who raise their taxes and make cost of living unaffordable. When it gets to be too expensive, they'll move. And continue to vote for the people and policies that caused them to leave their previous home. Texans are seeing it as more and more Californias bring their regulations and homeless with them. It's concerning for free red states seeing the migration of people leaving locked down commie states. Not Ron DeSantis though. According to America's Governor, the people moving to Florida are smarter than that.

Sweden Goes From Being One Of The Safest Countries In Europe To The Second Most Dangerous | ZeroHedge
  • A new investigation finds that Sweden has gone from being one of the safest European countries 20 years ago in terms of gun crime to the second most dangerous.
The study, published by the country’s National Council on Crime Prevention (BrÃ¥), reveals that Sweden is the only country on the continent where shootings have increased substantially since the start of the century.

Most of the fatal shootings in Sweden (around 80 percent) had a link to organised crime, according to the study, a proportion which had risen from 30 to 50 percent in the early 2000s and less than 20 percent in the 1990s. BrÃ¥ also compared the proportion to other countries: around 60 percent of fatal shootings were linked to organised crime in the Netherlands, while in Finland such events were extremely rare, reports The Local.

...In a country where criticizing mass immigration is basically a thought crime, no consideration is even afforded to the possibility that the large number of Muslim migrants the country has absorbed over the last two decades could be a factor.

“Suspected perpetrators; Ali Mohammed, Mahmod, Mohammed, Mohammed Ali, again, again, again. Christopher… what, is it true? Yes, a Swedish name snuck in on the edges of a drug crime. Mohammed, Mahmod Ali, again and again,” he added...Read all.

Just Who Made Obama's Birth Certificate an Issue? - American Thinker

Just Who Made Obama's Birth Certificate an Issue? - American Thinker
"...Obama, writes Dovere, "would never forgive [Trump] for turning a fringe obsession with his birth certificate into an issue he'd had to address from the White House briefing room in 2011."
...In the way of background, a week prior to the 2008 Democratic National Convention, attorney Philip Berg filed a federal suit in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania challenging Obama's constitutional eligibility to be president.
A Democrat and former deputy attorney general for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Berg expected to be taken seriously.
 He wasn't.
The media expressed zero interest in his suit.
..."I was deprived of my due process rights to be heard," Berg would later write. "Judge Surrick made some outlandish comments claiming Obama had been properly vetted, and that was completely untrue." Berg's claim here is accurate.  The media's failure to investigate Obama's background is a scandal in its own right.
...Birtherism remained in the shadows until Donald Trump cast some light on the issue beginning with his speech at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) convention in February 2011.
"Our current president came out of nowhere, came out of nowhere," said Trump. "In fact, I'll go a step further. The people who went to school with him, they never saw him; they don't know who he is. It's crazy." This is the only section of Trump's speech Obama quotes in A Promised Land.
Obama omits what Trump said immediately afterward.
"With no track record, and I will tell you, he's got nothing to criticize — you've got no record, you can't be criticized," Trump continued. "Wonderful guy, he's a nice man, but there was no record, nothing to criticize. ... But he is our president."
...What attracted Trump to the birther issue was not Obama's race, but his inexplicable resistance to sharing his birth certificate.
If Obama were born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961, there would have been no reason not to share it....Read all.

The Real Problem with the Blue-State Model

The Real Problem with the Blue-State Model
  • It’s not just high taxes; it’s lousy services, too.
"Last April, shortly after New Jersey governor Phil Murphy proposed a budget with hundreds of millions of dollars in new taxes, his Texas counterpart, Greg Abbott, published an op-ed in the Garden State’s largest newspaper, inviting businesses and residents to consider moving south.
“I’d like to throw a lifeline to businesses and families throughout New Jersey who are looking for greater economic opportunity and relief from high taxes. Come to Texas and be a part of our economic success story,” wrote Abbott. “Combine our low taxes and reasonable regulatory environment with our access to global markets and our robust infrastructure, and it’s easy to see why the Texas economy continues to flourish.”
Shortly afterward, Murphy responded in the Dallas Morning News, explaining that his budget sought to move Jersey in a “stronger and fairer” direction, after years of putting “the wealthy and big corporations ahead of ordinary people.”
  • He didn’t explain how his state—with the nation’s third-highest corporate income tax and its worst business climate—had put “corporations ahead” of ordinary people.
  • Nor did Murphy clarify how Jersey, where the top 1 percent of households pays 38 percent of the income taxes, favored “the wealthy.”
...Many who say that they plan to leave say that taxes are indeed a factor.
But lurking in the data are other reasons, including mounting discontent with what residents actually get for their tax dollars.
Independent studies show that on the core tasks that people think government should do—building roads and bridges, running airports and transit systems, or otherwise spending tax dollars well—high-tax states rank low, despite enormous financial resources...Read all.

"Granholm’s Green Energy Millions.

“On Wednesday, Granholm confirmed she earned a $1.6 million profit on her shares of Proterra amid a firestorm over her financial ties to an electric vehicle company repeatedly promoted by the Biden administration.

In selling off her shares, Granholm was able to defer paying capital gains taxes on the $1.6 million sale because cabinet officials are not penalized with the tax on assets they are required to sell as a condition of joining the administration.

The Biden administration is seeking to raise the capital gains tax on America’s wealthiest families.”--Posted by
