We Can't Fund COVID Treatments for the Uninsured Because We Spent Trillions of COVID Aid on Wasteful Garbage
  • Congress used the COVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to throw money around in ways that would be comedic if the results weren't so tragic.
"Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic two years ago, Congress has authorized $884 billion in aid for state and local governments, $62 billion for colleges and universities, and $869 billion in direct payments to Americans, including to individuals who earned as much as $90,000 annually and never lost their income due to the pandemic.
And now, it turns out, there's no money left to actually help those suffering from COVID-19 who can't afford to pay for treatments...Read all.

Donald Trump hits Hillary Clinton, DNC, and more with lawsuit over Russian collusion allegations - TheBlaze

A portion of the petition states, "In the run-up to the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy. Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty.”

Others named in the suit include former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former Clinton campaign head John Podesta, and former FBI officials Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page.

Big Government and Big Corruption | International Liberty

Big Government and Big Corruption | International Liberty"
"When the Center for Freedom and Prosperity released this video back in 2009, we wanted people to understand the link between big government and big corruption.

Simply stated, unethical people are naturally drawn to politics and unethical interest groups naturally seek to obtain unearned wealth (a process known as “rent seeking“).

The obvious takeaway is that making government bigger is going to mean that these unsavory groups will have even greater ability to engage in corruption...Read all.

Black people are beautiful, so I want to see that more often. And I don’t want to constantly tell my 6-month-old daughter that she’s a victim."

MSNBC Op-ed: If You Exercise, You're a Neo-Nazi
"The Left has a Nazi fetish.
  • They have an unhealthy obsession with Adolf Hitler.
  • Maybe it’s because they all secretly want to be him?
  • After all, he built death camps, put people he hated into them, and systemically murdered them.
  • It’s what liberals want to do with anyone with whom they disagree, so roughly half the country.
  • Everything they hate is rooted in racism, sexism, misogyny, or Nazism.
It’s the same old game, but it’s not reaching levels of mockery that we really haven’t approached yet.
I have never seen an op-ed that argues that working out and exercising is akin to Nazism.
It’s all here.
Exercise is a far-right activity.

Climate Change Is About Control, Stupid – Not The Environment

Climate Change Is About Control, Stupid – Not The Environment
"The apocalyptic talk about climate change is nothing more than a
diversion tactic
by the government, the radical Left, and their mainstream press.
  • The many laws, the trillions in federal appropriations and tax credits, and the unworkable proposals to address climate change will not slow the rise of the oceans or heal the planet.
  • Lobbying for more climate regulation is to enhance the power of the authoritarian state, not protect the environment.
  • The radical Left has the world obsessing over whether we have 10, 20, or 50 years before the eve of destruction.
  • The hysteria gives the government the excuse it needs for more controls over the energy we use, the products we purchase, the homes we live in, the food we eat, and since the pandemic when we can leave our homes.
  • However, the data supporting the climate studies are rarely made public so that scientists can test the reproducibility of the studies...Read all.

Joe Rogan Blasts SNL for Turning Into Woke Crap - Louder With Crowder

Joe Rogan took a trip down memory lane many of us oldhead comedy fans have had. When "SNL" used to be funny or, to use more precise language, when "Saturday Night Live" used to be funny. You wouldn't know it if you stay awake in 2022, but "Saturday Night Live" used to be must-watch TV long before it turned into the woke crap we see before us now.

Fun read of the good old days.-----When the Oscars got the Best Picture winner wrong

"The Oscars are coming up this weekend and while I probably won’t watch the show because it’s often insufferable, I do try to see some of the Best Picture nominees so I can form my own opinion about them.
...Back in 2016 the Washington Post published a piece about all of the Best Picture winners since 1976 along with their picks for the films that should have won
This week they updated that.
I spent some time looking over their list and I agree with some of their choices.
For instance, 1979:

Nominees: All That Jazz, Apocalypse Now, Breaking Away, Kramer vs. Kramer, Norma Rae

Best Picture winner: Kramer vs. Kramer

The actual best picture: Apocalypse Now

What a bonkers roster. “Kramer vs. Kramer” is a gorgeously spare, simple movie about divorce and parenting — can you believe that 105 minutes of talking without CGI or explosions was not only the Oscar winner but the box-office champ for 1979? But it’s hard not to love every shot of “Apocalypse Now,” which routinely makes Top-10 lists of the best films ever. If this lineup were voted on today, “Apocalypse” would win in a landslide...Read all.
