CBS News allegedly seized Catherine Herridge's files, records after suddenly terminating her employment: Report | Blaze Media

CBS News is facing accusations that it seized computers, files, and records — "including information on privileged sources" — that belong to reporter Catherine Herridge.

Last week, CBS News terminated Herridge's employment as part of a layoff impacting fewer than two dozen employees at CBS News. Her surprise termination sent shockwaves through Washington because Herridge is a respected, award-winning journalist with a storied career. She is seen as a bastion of "old school" journalism, covering major topics the legacy media often ignores.

Biden Swims Naked, Upsetting Female Secret Service Agents:

“Agents say that, whether at the vice president’s residence or at his home in Delaware, Biden has a habit of swimming in his pool nude,” Kessler writes in the book – due for release Aug. 5.

“Female Secret Service agents find that offensive,” he writes.

“Biden likes to be revered as everyday Joe,” an unnamed agent told Kessler. “But the reality is no agents want to go on his detail because Biden makes agents’ lives so tough.”

Report: Biden’s Reliance on Cheat Sheets at Fundraisers Concerns Donors
"President Joe Biden’s unabashed reliance on pre-prepared notes to help him explain his own policies in response to questions he knows are coming is sparking concern about his age from party donors.
An Axios report sets out even in closed-door fundraisers, where prescreened donors can ask questions of the octogenarian, he can be seen consulting his notes to provide detailed answers, according to people familiar with the routine.
The staged Q&A sessions have left some donors wondering whether Biden can withstand the rigors of a 2024 presidential campaign let alone potential debates with former President Donald Trump, 77, according to the Axios story.

Biden Oversees 7.2M Illegals at Border, Equal to 2 Years of U.S. Births

President Joe Biden has overseen a record-breaking level of illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border — a large portion of which is being released directly into American towns and cities.

From February 2021 through January 2024, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data shows that more than 7.2 million illegal aliens have arrived at the nation’s porous southern border.

WATCH: Congressman shows how Biden's border crisis is 'deliberate'

Millions have responded to what essentially was Biden's invitation, and now even "sanctuary" cities are complaining about the massive financial burden of caring for those millions. Hunt explains we know the move was deliberate because Biden canceled procedures under which "we weren't talking about more than seven million illegal aliwn encounters at the southern border."

"PROFESSOR CARRINGTON, CALL YOUR OFFICE: Mass cellphone outage sparks fear of communications, electric grid failure.

Thursday’s sporadic interruption of national cellular phone networks has raised new concerns about how a large solar flare event or an atmospheric nuclear attack could shut down a wider network of phones or even the electric grid.

While the number of phone outages was small, they showed up coast to coast, and some media spun the story up into a major crisis. “World Is Ending,” screamed the Drudge Report in a red headline.

Early indications are that it could have been caused by successive solar flares big enough to interrupt cellular service but not affect the electric grid.

Early on I was hearing it was hackers, but whatever.

Former prosecutor dumps cold water on Dem narrative that FBI informant's arrest clears Biden family of corruption allegations | Blaze Media

Last week, a grand jury indicted Smirnov for allegedly lying to the FBI. Special counsel David Weiss accuses Smirnov — previously a confidential human source for the FBI — of falsely claiming Ukrainian energy company Burisma paid then-Vice President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden $5 million each in 2015 and/or 2016.

Democrats are using Smirnov's arrest to absolve the Bidens of wrongdoing.

But Democrats aren't being honest, according to McCarthy, who explained on Wednesday an obvious fact: Smirnov's allegations were not the "lynchpin" of the corruption allegations.

Appeals Court Upholds Ruling Striking Down NYC Voting Rights for Foreigners

A New York appeals court upheld a prior ruling that struck down a New York City law giving local voting rights to nearly a million foreign nationals. As Breitbart News chronicled, Democrats on the 51-member New York City Council approved a plan in January 2022 that gave more than 800,000 foreign nationals with green cards, visas, and work permits the opportunity to vote in citywide elections so long as they have resided in the city for at least 30 consecutive days.

Biden Pours Out Another $6.5 Billion for CHIPS Act's Costly Protectionism - VARAD RAIGAONKAR
"...While the legislation was likely well-intentioned, it was doomed to have protectionist ramifications. "To defeat China, the argument goes, the U.S. must adopt the tactics of the Chinese Communist Party, at least when it comes to high-end manufacturing," Reason's Eric Boehm wrote in January 2023...
It's likely unsurprising that many large corporations lobbied for the CHIPS and Science Act, including Meta, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Apple, Northrop Grumman, Carrier, Trane, and General Dynamics, as well as labor unions like the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations and the Communications Workers of America.
