Muskegon Chronicle delusions

Our local newspaper editorialists must have spent too much time in their daily group hug.

Michigan's primary will play an important role - mlive.com:

"The upcoming Michigan primary election has been called many things -- stupid, insulting, visionary, worthless -- but by sheer force of will it's now a piece of the big picture of this year's presidential puzzle.

Our state occupies a key spot in the primary line-up, fourth up after Iowa, a one-party mini-caucus in Wyoming and today's New Hampshire primary, the grand-daddy of them all. In prior years, the focus would have automatically shifted next to South Carolina and Nevada, but now at least some candidates must detour through the Great Lakes region to familiarize themselves with our state and its concerns before heading south."
