Swat Officer is Asked by School Not to Wear His Uniform and Gun When Picking Up His Daughter

Swat Officer is Asked by School Not to Wear His Uniform and Gun When Picking Up His Daughter:
"Entz Elementary School in Mesa, Arizona received some complaints about the armed officer having a gun.
So the principal of the school called him up and made a very audacious request, asking him to not wear his gun and uniform at school because it alarmed some of the parents."

I can understand if someone went to pick up their kids at school and saw a guy in swat gear standing around, someone would be wondering what the hell was going on.

but after 2 days, usually anyone would be able to figure it out and relax.

pat, yours is a very reasonable conclusion.
My question is how do fools with such poor decision making skills get such high pay, high power-over-people jobs?
In the private sector, the reality is that they'd be gone in a minute.
