In response to Hewitt asking if he agreed with Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's description of the Kavanaugh hearing as the least transparent in history, McConnell replied, "Quite the contrary." In fact, he said, there's been "a bit more paper produced surrounding this nominee than any other."

America's Crisis: Starving Obese People | The Daily Sheeple

America's Crisis: Starving Obese People | The Daily Sheeple
"While Americans’ waistlines continue to expand, those who are gaining the most weight are also starving.
They aren’t starving of calories, but of vital nutrients that help keep the body working in tip-top condition.
...Only 14% of adults even consume three servings of veggies per day, but the news is worse. Adolescents eat even fewer vegetables than their adult counterparts.
So as Americans get bigger and consume more calories, they are wholly malnourished at the same time.
...It’s also led to a national obesity epidemic, yet the obese people are, ironically, the ones who are starving.
According to The Guardian, this problem is called “hidden hunger” and it robs billions of people the opportunity to reach their full potential..."

What have we learned that could be applied to our current government?
If we took on the same thought experiment the founders did, what new insights would we have into tools to tackle challenges like racism, environmental degradation and globalization?

Ohio State Employs Dozens of Diversity Staffers, and Nine Make More Than $100,000 - Hit & Run : Reason.com
See the source image"Ohio State University employs at least 88 administrators whose job is to promote diversity and inclusion.
Many are paid quite well: The top nine make more than $100,000 a year.
..."Stated differently, it takes the entire tuition dollars from 750 in-state students to pay for those 88 diversicrats."
...In a post on AEI's blog, Perry pointed out that according to Education Department data, hiring of new faculty members has not kept pace with student enrollment nationwide, but the ranks of administrators have expanded by 139 percent.
No wonder tuition is skyrocketing."

It Wasn’t Comey’s Decision to Exonerate Hillary – It Was Obama’s

It Wasn’t Comey’s Decision to Exonerate Hillary – It Was Obama’s--Andrew C. McCarthy
"The thing to understand, what has always been the most important thing to understand, is that Jim Comey was out in front, but he was not calling the shots.
...Let’s think about what else was going on in April 2016.
Image result for comeyObama...On April 10, 2016, President Obama publicly stated that Hillary Clinton had shown “carelessness” in using a private e-mail server to handle classified information, but he insisted that she had not intended to endanger national security (which is not an element of the [criminal statutes relevant to her e-mail scandal]).
The president acknowledged that classified information had been transmitted via Secretary Clinton’s server, but he suggested that, in the greater scheme of things, its importance had been vastly overstated.
This is precisely the reasoning that Comey relied on in ultimately absolving Clinton, as I recounted in the same column:
,,,Obama’s April statements are the significant ones.
They told us how this was going to go.
The rest is just details.
In his April 10 comments, Obama made the obvious explicit:
He did not want the certain Democratic nominee, the candidate he was backing to succeed him, to be indicted.
...As we also now know – but as Obama knew at the time – the president himself had communicated with Clinton over her non-secure, private communications system, using an alias.
...plan was in place and already being implemented when Director Comey began drafting the “findings” he would announce months later.
But it was not Comey’s plan.
It was Obama’s plan."

The economy added a total of 201,000 jobs during the month of August — a stronger number than analysts predicted, underpinning the nation’s solid economic expansion and a 49-year low in unemployment — and all but cementing an interest rate hike when the Federal Reserve meets later this month.

Nolte: #Resistance Jumped Shark 9 Times This Week to Fabricate Trump Crisis:

Image result for The Fonz Jumps the SharkWhat they do not want you focused on, especially with the midterm elections weeks away, are the unprecedented results of Trump’s “chaotic” management style, results that have lowered black and Hispanic unemployment to record levels, brought manufacturing back to the Rust Belt, and made the endless War on Terror feel like a bad memory.
This week was especially bad for the crybabies. As Trump racked up a successful confirmation hearing for Kavanaugh and the kind of economic news the media assured us was no longer possible, the pitiful and certifiably insane Resistance went shark jumping on at least nine occasions…
