LIBERTY REVIEW

LIBERTY REVIEW:

http://www.libertyreview76.blogspot.com/2014/07/narcissism-and-arrogance-by-tammy.html

Our president, due to lack of accountability has been creating crisis after crisis.  The ultimate goal is the total collapse of our system. Narcissism and arrogance have caught up to us.  Why else would he be able to use such arrogant words in total disregard for the law of our land; the Constitution. Yes, Mr. President, there is a Constitution.  Like a spoiled little child, he pushes, throws a tantrum and then gets away with behavior unbecoming of a U.S. President.

Obama to Tout the 40 Executive Actions He’s Taken Without Congress This Year | TheBlaze.com

Obama to Tout the 40 Executive Actions He’s Taken Without Congress This Year | TheBlaze.com: “On Thursday in Austin, TX, the President will highlight the actions his Administration has taken – more than 40 since January – to benefit hardworking Americans,” Pfeiffer continued. “From helping to create new manufacturing jobs, to expanding apprenticeships and job training, and from making student loan payments more affordable, to cutting carbon pollution, the President’s used his pen and phone on behalf of folks all across the country.
Obama has made it clear that he is not stepping away from his “pen and phone” strategy of acting without Congress."

Obama Wants You To Fund Lawyers For New Illegals

Obama Wants You To Fund Lawyers For New Illegals | The Daily Caller: "President Barack Obama is asking Congress to provide free lawyers to the illegal immigrants surging across the U.S. border from Central America.
The request for $18 million of free legal services, which White House officials describe as an emergency, is included in White House request to Congress for $3.7 billion.
Most of those funds are needed to process, care for and feed the growing flow of immigrants, which is already at 100,000 since last October, says the administration.
If the GOP funds the request for lawyers, they will help many of the illegals win green cards, which will allow them permanent access to the nation’s generous social and welfare programs, including Obamacare."

The american dream?--------Report: Welfare Rolls Have Never Been Higher

photo welfare1_zps6d92cd83.pngReport: Welfare Rolls Have Never Been Higher - Daniel Doherty:
"Hope and Change has given way to something new entirely.
Call this the “new normal,” I guess. CNS News reports that in 2011, the percentage of Americans on welfare hit its apex (23.1 percent), according to an up-to-date Department of Health and Human Services report released this year.
Regrettably, we don’t have any data for subsequent years, but my hunch is that welfare rolls have been soaring to new heights ever since:"

10 Paranoiacs Who Were Right In The End

10 Paranoiacs Who Were Right In The End - Listverse:
#8  Joseph McCarthy
"A junior US Senator from Wisconsin, McCarthy is notorious for being the face of the 1950s Red Scare in which hundreds of American citizens were tried for conspiring against the US.
He accused hundreds of being crypto-communists and launched a witch hunt that deeply affected both the State Department and the Army.
The thing is, there was really a communist infiltration in the works.
Around that time, an intercept of Soviet documents from the KGB called the VENONA papers had established the existence of a mole at the top of the Department of State.
Although McCarthy was not entirely right in his zeal, there was a great degree of truth to his statements."

Obama Accepts Gov. Rick Perry’s Meeting Invitation to Discuss Border Crisis After Handshake Rejection | TheBlaze.com:
“The fact of the matter is, the president has made a historic investment in border security, and this president has worked with Republicans in Congress to try to increase our investments and increase the number of resources being dedicated to securing our border,” Earnest said. “Unfortunately it’s Republicans, many of them from Texas that are blocking the House from even considering that common sense bipartisan proposal that would make it to the additional historic investment.”
Obama will also be doing Democratic fundraisers in Dallas and Denver during his three-city swing."

School leader mocks Michelle O’s bake sale restrictions: We can’t fundraise ‘selling carrot sticks’

School leader mocks Michelle O’s bake sale restrictions: We can’t fundraise ‘selling carrot sticks’ - EAGnews.org powered by Education Action Group Foundation, Inc.:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State Board of Education has passed sweeping new restrictions on student bake sales in order to be compliant with federal rules on school snacks, and a lot of people are unhappy about it.
In order to comply with the Michelle Obama-inspired regulations, Tennessee schools will only be allowed to have bake sales 30 days per school year.
State Education Commissioner Kevin Huffman said it was “quite remarkable” that food fundraisers would be regulated by how many days they can be held, noting that this will prevent high school sports teams from holding weekly food fundraisers, according to The Tennessean.
....“That means if the Spanish club sells sausage biscuits one morning, that’s one day,” David Sevier, deputy executive director of the State Board of Education, told the paper. “If there’s a schoolwide event where all the teachers cook hamburgers for the seniors, then that’s a day. If there’s a day when the parents do pizza for the entire school, that’s a day.
“If it’s 10 kids or 1,000 kids, it’s still counting as one of those events.”
Sevier ridiculed the regulations, saying, “If I thought I could generate revenue selling carrot sticks, I could tear it up.”
Of course, there are inconsistencies within the regulations.
Tubs of cookie dough, for example, may still be sold as the contents is baked and consumed off-campus.

You think the road funds are broke?-------Michigan Teacher Pensions Costs Increase To Nearly $1 Billion Per Year

Michigan Teacher Pensions Costs Increase To Nearly $1 Billion Per Year [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"What started out as a $155 million tab in 2012 for public school employee pension and retirement health care costs will increase to $945 million by 2015, according to the Senate Fiscal Agency.
The driver of the escalating costs is MPSERS' unfunded liability. The pension system's unfunded liability was $25.8 billion in 2013, up from $24.3 billion in 2012. The unfunded liability for retiree health care is estimated at another $12.5 billion to $13.4 billion.
The costs for the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System includes the $882.7 million the state is projecting to spend on retirement contributions for K-12 education in 2015 plus the costs for community colleges, libraries and higher education.
One reason the costs are increasing is that school districts didn't meet the annual required contributions for pension costs, said James Hohman, assistant director of fiscal policy at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. In 2013, the state determined the cost was $1.9 billion, but districts paid $1.36 billion, according to state's 2013 annual audit."

Phony tweets from a phony president------White House: Obama Doesn't Read His Own Tweets

White House: Obama Doesn't Read His Own Tweets | Truth Revolt:
""Does he even read the others, does know they’re going out?
Are they reviewed by senior people at the White House or is that just simply OFA doing something on his behalf?"
Earnest replied that @BarackObama was maintained by OFA, Organizing for Action.
OFA is "the grassroots movement fighting for the agenda Americans voted for in 2012.
We are millions of people, empowering individuals to make their voices heard."
"I’m not sure if he was aware of that tweet.
Because the Twitter handle is maintained independent of the White House, I was not aware of it." Earnest explained.
(These people are not aware of ANYTHING apparently.)
At issue, was Obama's tweet last Thursday with the hashtag #TBT (throwback Thursday) where the Obama twitter account longed for the time last week when women, not bosses, made their own decisions about health care. "

“We believe that proper food nutrition and meal portion guidelines are best decided at a local level,” he maintained.
He is reportedly willing to forego federal funding for the opportunity to provide meals kids in his district are actually willing to eat. Under the existing guidelines, he noted that the district’s food service program was set to reach a funding shortfall of $54,000 – primarily based on sluggish sales of the unpopular meals.
If his district shuns the federal mandates, however, he said the department could actually reach a surplus of more than $7,000."

National suicide-----Obama border funding: Most money to care, feed, transport illegal immigrants; little for deportations

Obama border funding: Most money to care, feed, transport illegal immigrants; little for deportations | WashingtonExaminer.com:
It's still a little unclear exactly how much money President Obama will request to deal with the crisis of thousands of families and unaccompanied children crossing the border into the United States illegally. But there are indications the vast majority of the funding will go to caring for the illegal immigrants who are already here -- feeding, housing, and transporting them to new American homes -- while a far smaller amount will go to sending some of those immigrants back to their home countries and preventing future immigrants from crossing into the U.S. illegally.
The president will ask for a large amount of money, perhaps as much as $2 billion, for the Department of Health and Human Services. Most of that will go to care for the more than 50,000 unaccompanied children who have illegally entered the United States in recent months. The law requires that border officials transfer those children to the care of HHS, which is then required to find homes for them, unite them with family members, provide legal assistance, and help them in a variety of other ways. So most of the HHS funding request, whatever it is, will go to the care of illegal immigrants who are already here.

Bringing Central American child refugees to Vassar is topic of upcoming town meeting | MLive.com: "VASSAR, MI — Vassar residents are invited to meet Wednesday, July 9, to learn more about a plan that would house Central American refugee children in the mid-Michigan city.
Wolverine Human Services, which has a 145-bed juvenile facility in Vassar called the Pioneer Work and Learn Center, could house some of the children who are coming into the United States by the thousands from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
The U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. General Services Administration have met with the Wolverine facility's leaders to discuss a contract.
According to the Wolverine's website, the agency is reviewing a contract to maintain a 60-bed shelter for male unaccompanied minors ages 12-17.
The children are not defined as illegal immigrants, according to Wolverine."

During a recent appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Perry criticized Obama for not acting with urgency on the border crisis.

Flashback, Obama Mocks GOP on Border Security: ‘They’ll Want a Moat’ and ‘Alligators in the Moat’

Flashback, Obama Mocks GOP on Border Security: ‘They’ll Want a Moat’ and ‘Alligators in the Moat’ | CNS News:
In a speech near the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas on May 10, 2011, President Barack Obama noted the steps taken by his administration to strengthen border security, but said Republicans in Congress were never satisfied and mocked that they will want a “higher fence” and then “a moat,” and then “alligators in the moat.”
“So, here’s the point,” said Obama, speaking outside to a crowd in El Paso.
“I want everybody to listen carefully to this.
We have gone above and beyond what was requested by the very Republicans who said they supported broader reform as long as we got serious about enforcement.
All the stuff they asked for, we’ve done.”
“But even though we’ve answered these concerns, I’ve got to say I suspect there are still going to be some who are trying to move the goal posts on us one more time,” said the president.
He continued, “You know, they said we needed to triple the Border Patrol.
Or now they’re going to say we need to quadruple the Border Patrol.
Or they’ll want a higher fence.
Maybe they’ll need a moat. (Laughter.)
Maybe they want alligators in the moat. (Laughter.)
They’ll never be satisfied.
And I understand that. That’s politics.”

King of Propaganda: Obama Attacks Supreme Court Decision with Lies

King of Propaganda: Obama Attacks Supreme Court Decision with Lies:
"Case in point is the Supreme Court decision in regards to the Hobby Lobby case. Although Hobby Lobby pays for 16 out of the 20 forms of birth control mandated as part of Obamacare by the Obama regime after Obamacare was passed, they refused to pay for 4 forms that actually abort the fetus, i.e. kills the baby.
Barack Obama and the Left have attempted to spin this as an employer attempting to dictate to a woman matters concerning her sexual life and a denial of access. The reality couldn’t be further from the truth."

“I take executive action only when we have a serious problem,” he alleged, “a serious issue, and Congress chooses to do nothing.”
He went on to complain that “the failure of House Republicans to pass a darn bill is bad for our security, it’s bad for our economy, and it’s bad for our future.”

Fighting pot with water

Fighting pot with water: Column:
"When voters in Washington state and Colorado legalized possession and sale of recreational marijuana in 2012, federal officials were not happy.
They will be less happy Tuesday when pot officially goes on sale in Washington.
Though the Obama administration has pledged to respect state laws, it is quietly going in the opposite direction by cutting off water to the growers.
The idea seems to be that if the administration cannot dry up the public support for legalization, it will just dry up the plants themselves.

....The use of water as a weapon is not new in the West, where "water wars" were once common among ranches and even states.
The federal government began in 1902 to take control over such waters with programs to build dams and waterways.
What began as a few dozen projects grew into a massive system, in which the federal government controlled a significant portion of the water in 17 states with the construction of more than 600 dams and reservoirs.
It is now the nation's largest water wholesale operation, supplying to more than 31 million people and one out of five farmers in the West.
It is not just water.
The government's 53 power plants annually provide more than 40 billion kilowatt hours that support millions of homes.

Obama 'would welcome’ visit with Perry to talk about the border

Obama 'would welcome’ visit with Perry to talk about the border | www.statesman.com:
"Gov. Rick Perry Monday turned down what he characterized as President Barack Obama’s offer for a “quick handshake on the Tarmac” when the president arrives in Austin on Wednesday.
But Perry said he would juggle his schedule to accommodate a “substantive meeting” with Obama on border security any time during his two-day visit to Texas.
Late Monday, Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to President Obama, replied to Perry affirmatively, saying, “The president would welcome a meeting with you while he is in Texas.”
In the two-page letter obtained first by the American-Statesman, Jarrett also invited Perry to join faith leaders and local elected officials for a round table discussion on the border that has been added to the president’s schedule while he is in Dallas on Wednesday.
It wasn’t immediately clear how Perry would respond.
The president is spending two days in Texas, raising money for national Democratic coffers in Dallas on Wednesday and in Austin on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
His only public event in Austin will be a discussion of the economy at the Paramount Theater on Congress Avenue on mid-day Thursday.
There was no plan to visit the southern border while in Texas, but the newly-added Dallas round table means that he will be addressing the issue of illegal immigration head-on while in the state."
