Additional findings from federal review of Muskegon Family Care highlight inconsistencies, documentation problems | MLive.com

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, MI — After several interviews and examining more than two dozen types of documents, the Health Resources & Services Administration this year outlined numerous financial and operational concerns it had about Muskegon Family Care.
The report, obtained by MLive Muskegon Chronicle in October under the Freedom of Information Act, found that the federally qualified health center failed to properly track grant funds it receives under section 330 of the Public Health Service Act.
The document also revealed that Muskegon Family Care lost $153,939 after planning an unsuccessful celebrity fundraiser and golf tournament at the Muskegon Country Club.
The federal agency compiled the findings after its Division of Financial Integrity visited the site, located at 2201 S. Getty St. in Muskegon Heights, in January.
The integrity team's "limited scope review" report also affirmed observations made by the agency's Bureau of Primary Health Care representatives months earlier in August 2013.

Obama’s Revenge

Obama’s Revenge:
"Obama promised a “transformation” of America, a nation dedicated to individual freedom and liberty, and it has taken this long for many to realize that his definition of transformation was an ever-increasing Big Government to control every aspect of our lives:

  1. the education of our youth who lack knowledge of civics, math, and science.
  2. the deprivation and reduction of access to vital sources of energy.
  3. the refusal to protect U.S. sovereignty by ignoring our immigration laws and border security
  4. the reduction of our military power to levels rivaling pre-World War Two
  5. the failure to resist the growth of Islamic fanaticism
  6. the historic and dangerous increase of our national debt
  7. the failure to take fundamental steps to revive the economy by cutting taxes and reducing regulations
  8. the destruction of our market-based healthcare system"

In Great Lakes States, Union Retribution Fizzles

In Great Lakes States, Union Retribution Fizzles [Michigan Capitol Confidential]
In December of 2012, in the aftermath of Michigan’s Republican Legislature passing a right-to-work law, thousands of union members from around the state participated in a teleconference where their leaders promised “retribution” against the GOP.
One union member wondered if Democrats took control of the Legislature, “Could we shove it right down their throats?”
Al Garrett, president of Michigan AFSCME Council 25, shot back: “If we were to change the composition of both houses, where we were the majority and had the governor, no question we would be able to get rid of it right away. … In November of 2014, we vote to change the composition of those bodies. … We will not forget the folks who did this to us.”
Garrett said the union would “make sure we identify the folks who did us in and get them out of office.”
In Michigan, the day after the November 2014 elections, those threats ring hollow.
....Similar scenarios played out in Wisconsin and Ohio, where GOP governors won elections after making major labor reforms that upset unions in those states.
...In Ohio, led by GOP Gov. John Kasich, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 5, which also limited public sector union collective bargaining privileges. Unions scored a victory in 2012 when the law was overturned in a referendum.
...But on Tuesday, Walker, Kasich and Snyder all won re-election after challenging the power of their states’ union establishments.

Watch the evolution of an MSNBC meltdown « Hot Air:
"As a rule, the most interesting coverage of an election night is always the losing side’s coverage.
Last night, MSNBC’s anchors, most of whom would concede they are more ideologically friendly toward Democrats than Republicans, lost and lost big.
While there was some stellar analysis and measured commentary on that network from the likes of Chuck Todd and Steve Kornacki, there was also a fair bit of infighting, punchy recrimination, and general despair from the left-leaning network’s flagship personalities.
The evolution of MSNBC’s coming to terms with one of the largest Republican electoral landslides in the history of American midterm elections is worth dissecting."

Fun n games over. Real world danger exists!-------Report: Obama Raises 'Centrifuge Ceiling' in Iran

Report: Obama Raises 'Centrifuge Ceiling' in Iran - Global Agenda - News - Arutz Sheva:
Number of centrifuges allegedly raised from 4,000 to 6,000 - as Obama is rumored to be desperate to strike a deal.
The Obama administration may be covertly allowing Iran's nuclear program to enrich more uranium than in initial agreements, a state-approved Iranian website said Wednesday - amid reports that he is looking to bypass congressional approval for a full-fledged nuclear deal.
According to the report, the White House has allowed Iran to enrich uranium by operating 6,000 centrifuges - 2,000 more than initially reports last month.
And that is after Obama has slowly raised the centrifuge threshold, it said - from 500 to 1,500 and finally to 4,000 - in a series of negotiations.
...The size of Iran’s centrifuge inventory is a key sticking point in deal talks, with experts saying that the total centrifuge count is close to 10,000.
Iran, for its part, has drawn a "red line" at maintaining enough centrifuges to produce enough uranium for 38 A-bombs per year

LIBERTY REVIEW

LIBERTY REVIEW:

http://www.libertyreview76.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-liberal-ticket-by-tammy-derouin.html

The Liberal Ticket

"There’s new hope for some much needed change.  Many Democratic candidates have been distancing themselves from the disasters of the Obama administration.  When asked if they voted for Obama or his policies, you begin to wonder when you landed in the theater.  The lights seem to dim as the first act begins.  A long winded monologue by the candidate attempts to explain the situation without actually telling you anything.  The second scene moves a little quicker as slippery sidetracking causes the candidate to stumble over props.  As the scene unfolds you begin to realize the props are liabilities; created by the candidate for following the party line."

The theater never disappoints.   The art of comedy and tragedy are both painful and amusing to watch.
