Fifth Video Emerges, Showing Gruber Mocking Man Worried About Obamacare:

"After hearing the Vermonter’s worries, Gruber responds, “Was this written by my adolescent children by any chance?”

The remark was met with uproarious laughter.

The video is the fifth in string of videos to surface this week in which Gruber publicly mocks citizens or boasts of his use of deception in crafting health care policies. "

State Superintendent Claims Detroit Public Schools has Dramatic Teacher Shortage

State Superintendent Claims Detroit Public Schools has Dramatic Teacher Shortage [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"In late September, State Superintendent Mike Flanagan said in a press release that there was a “dramatic teacher shortage” causing large classroom sizes in Detroit Public Schools.
Flanagan called on businesses, career professionals and the state Legislature to help.
A review of the number of teachers relative to the student enrollment in DPS, however, doesn’t paint a picture of a teacher shortage.
Detroit Public Schools has one classroom teacher for every 16.65 students, a ratio that is a little higher than the state average but lower than higher performing school districts."

Happening in America: Police Department Seizing Firearms From Families After the Original Owner Passes Away:

"Remember that part in the Second Amendment that deals with what happens to firearms once someone passes away? “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed… until they die. Then the police can swoop in and snag grandpa’s service pistol.”

Wait… No, I just checked; that last part is not in there."

Heartwarming Video: Woman’s Sign Brings Garth Brooks Concert to a Halt | MRCTV: "A woman held up a sign at a Garth Brooks concert in Minneapolis Friday that made the singer stop everything mid-performance to honor his fan.
Teresa Shaw held up a sign during the song "The Dance," that read: "Chemo this morning, Garth tonight. Enjoy the dance," Kare11 reported.
She had needed a break from her breast cancer treatment, and decided to go to Brooks’ concert with her 19-year-old daughter.
"I was just hoping he would see it and maybe if I could get him to get it signed," said Shaw.
But Shaw got a lot more than she bargained for when, “The next thing I knew, another usher was coming up to me and were like, 'follow us,'" said Shaw. "And they took me to the very front, right in front of him.""

Obama Hints at Keystone Pipeline Veto, Says It Won’t Help Jobs or Gas Prices | TheBlaze.com:

“My position hasn’t changed, that this is a process that is supposed to be followed,” Obama said. “Right now you have a case pending in Nebraska, where the pipeline would run through, in which a state court judge has questioned the plan. And until we know what the route is, it’s very hard to finish that evaluation and I don’t think we should short-circuit that process."

This is so very interesting.
There is another "process" that is supposed to be followed.

Michigan Senate OKs sharp gas tax hikes to fix roads

Michigan Senate OKs sharp gas tax hikes to fix roads:
"LANSING, Mich. (Detroit Free Press) -- The Michigan Senate voted Thursday to sharply increase gas taxes over the next four years to potentially raise more than $1 billion annually to fix the state's crumbling roads and bridges.
The bill from Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville, R-Monroe, was passed quickly and without debate, by a 23-14 vote, after a number of false starts earlier in the day, during a lame-duck session.
Richardville told reporters the measure passed Thursday could still change during the remainder of the lame-duck session and it's still possible voters could be asked to approve a 1 percentage point hike in the state's 6% sales tax as an alternative.
The Senate took "a big step to show people we're serious," Richardville said. "If you've got an alternative, we're going to take a look at it."
In the latest version, the wholesale tax would begin at 9% on April 1, 2015 and gradually increase to 15.5% on Jan. 1, 2018.
Based on a wholesale gas price of $2.50 a gallon, that would result in a gas price hike of 17 cents a gallon when fully implemented.
There are measures in the bill to cap price increases if the wholesale price of gas spikes."

It’s something Paul called “entrapment.”

FBI Confirms; Firearms Numbers at Record Levels & Violent Crime Decreases

FBI Confirms; Firearms Numbers at Record Levels & Violent Crime Decreases
A few days ago we reported of the influence of pistol purchasing/ownership with a decrease in crime rate. The FBI has now released a report confirming what every gun owner already knows… gun ownership increasing will deter thugs.
The FBI just released its data for Crime in the United States, 2013 and gun control lobbyists are probably not going to like what it says.
According to the report, while background checks for firearm purchasers hit record levels in 2013 — 21,093,273 to be exact — “violent crimes in 2013 decreased 4.4 percent when compared with 2012 figures, and the estimated number of property crimes decreased 4.1 percent.”
It’s important to note that background checks for firearm purchasers are fewer than the number of guns sold. Breitbart explains:
… the number of guns sold could be many times higher. That is because background checks are done on gun purchasers, not on the number of guns being purchased.
The truth is that gun purchasers could have picked up multiple firearms during sales, and the numbers wouldn’t include private sales, anyway.

Will you have a plastic bag or the plague? « Watchdog.org:

When the bag was tested – two weeks later – it still contained norovirus.
THE $33,000 BAN: The city of Santa Fe is spending more than $33,000 in taxpayer dollars for costs associated with banning plastic grocery bags,
BAN THE BAGS: Many environmentalists are promoting a ban on plastic bags, but unfortunately they are doing more harm than good.
In other tests, half of reusable grocery bags had coliform bacteria on them and eight percent had E. coli — fecal contamination."

After the first video emerged, Gruber told MSNBC’s Ronan Farrow he was merely “speaking off-the-cuff.

"Weinstein said the coming wave of higher premiums and lost plans are structured in a way that you blame the “evil insurance companies,” in Gruber’s words, not the government that forced them to implement the policies.

The administration and Gruber will deny that they are out to change employer-based health insurance, Weinstein asserted. But he also cautioned that you cannot rely on what they say in speeches — you must also listen to what they are saying at the universities, at economic forums, and among themselves.

“It’s all out there,” he said."

The Economic End Game Explained

The Economic End Game Explained | The Daily Sheeple
Throughout history, in most cases of economic collapse the societies in question believed they were financially invincible just before their disastrous fall.
Rarely does anyone see the edge of the cliff or even the bottom of the abyss before it has swallowed a nation whole.
This lack of foresight, however, is not entirely the fault of the public.
It is, rather, a consequence caused by the manipulation of the fundamental information available to the public by governments and social gatekeepers

Army Air Corps lost 615 planes shot down. The Japanese garrison of 36,000 men lost at least 31,000 killed in action, with only 1,000 captured, the rest unaccounted for, 38 ships sunk, and about 700 planes shot down.

It is considered sacred to both navies and silence is observed whenever a ship passes through it.
While the navies dueled to the death off the coast, Guadalcanal was the scene of triple canopy jungle fighting of the same drawn-out attrition as that seen in Vietnam. The most bitter fighting was seen around the airstrip, renamed Henderson Field in honor of Lofton Henderson, killed in action at Midway; and “Edson’s Ridge,” also called “Bloody Ridge,” overseeing the airstrip and which the Japanese attempted to wrest from the Marines.

‘Smite Republicans Mafia-Style’: Hillary Clinton Operatives’ Emails Revealed | TheBlaze.com:

In a message announcing that Marshall was taking a new job, Mook wrote: “I know this prodical [sic] son will return to the mafia manger soon enough to smite Republicans mafia-style.”

Liberal Ignorance at its Finest: Gays and Muslim Unite?:

"The left has an ever-increasing intolerance for Christianity, but largely offers a warm embrace to Muslims. The logic behind this is so frustratingly flawed. Muslims kill gay people for being gay, women for being raped, and other Muslims for speaking out of turn. There is no greater intolerance than that of Islam, yet these same liberals who scream peace and love fail to see the vicious murder, hate, and inhumanity.

The gays uniting with Muslims should keep their ignorance out of the Middle East, where they would not be accepted or tolerated like they are in America. In the Middle East, they would be imprisoned and killed."

MN wind and solar mandate would mean costly grid upgrade

MN wind and solar mandate would mean costly grid upgrade « Watchdog.org:
"A new report released by the Minnesota Commerce Department lays the technical groundwork for ramping up one of the nation’s highest state renewable energy mandates from 30 to 40 percent by 2030.
One technicality left out of the $750,000 study underwritten by Minnesota utility ratepayers?
Who pays for what in a potentially massive upgrade of high voltage transmission lines from the Dakotas to Indiana.
“The results indicate that Minnesota’s renewable energy standard is clearly on track and that the capacity for adding additional wind and solar up to 40% by 2030 can be reliably accommodated by the electric power system,” according to a Minnesota Commerce Department news release.
A search of the 178-page report shows the authors never mention ratepayers, leaving unanswered whether spending nearly $400 million to upgrade the grid would be a good investment for Minnesota consumers and employers.
“It doesn’t say it would be cost effective to upgrade the system to accommodate 40 percent renewables. It doesn’t say it would be a good idea,” said Bill Glahn, an independent energy analyst for Piedmont Consulting and a former Pawlenty administration energy official.
“It just said that given enough time and money, it’s technically feasible.
I could have told you that.”"

"Twenty-four hours is great," said Dr. Norman Rowe, a board certified plastic surgeon who practices in Manhattan, "but it's still just 24 hours."
