LIBERTY REVIEW

Spawn of Hatred

By Tammy Derouin

The American people made a very important statement.   The time has come to reclaim our government.  The people have had enough of runaway lawlessness.  We are fed up with the corruption, scandals, targeting, weakening, dictatorial actions and the suicidal course put before us by the Obama administration.  We refused to transfer our future to a different vehicle going down the same dark, destructive path.

The awakening has begun. Our course had to be altered before we found ourselves forever lost in darkness.  There is hope that we can, over time, recover from the damage and willful attempts to destroy our country by those who currently dwell within our government.  It’s not going to be easy and it isn’t going to happen overnight.  The first step is to identify the problem.  The second step is to remove it from our system.  A nationwide decision was cast to take back our lives, our future and our country.

Our founding fathers established a revolutionary system of governance.  We were to be a land of laws not of men.  We must restrict and restrain our government within the confines of the Constitution.  Actions, laws and policy must be made within the boundaries of the Constitution regardless of party lines.  We the people control the government but, we must learn and understand the Constitution in order to uphold it.

These past eight years have been extremely difficult.  We watched as our nation changed and transformed into a system of government so distant from our founding principles.  It was difficult to watch dependency replace independence and willful enslavement replace freedom.  Lawlessness was applauded and those who stood for truth and justice were vilified.  Facts became irrelevant and fiction was becoming reality.

What I found most astonishing was the influence of hatred and how it took hold of so many.  So many Americans were used and allowed themselves to be used by their own party.  They were used to stir up problems and create unrest against fellow Americans. Destructive actions were being encouraged as false narratives were being created.  This sent shock waves of hate and destruction through many American cities.  Hatred and unrest did not rise to such levels without help.  It was carefully cultivated.  History will trace the spawn of hatred to the Obama administration........

The North Carolina governor’s race may come down to voter fraud questions

The North Carolina governor’s race may come down to voter fraud questions « Hot Air:
And I bet most of you thought the 2016 elections were over, right?
Dream on.
In North Carolina, the gubernatorial election is still being counted and with more than 4.6 million ballots having been cast, barely 5,000 votes separate Governor Pat McCrory and his challenger, Roy Cooper.
The local ABC outlet reports that the final canvass is set for Friday, but as the Washington Post notes, this race is about to get ugly and we may not know the winner until after Thanksgiving.
...This one isn’t just going to come down to counting the rest of the military and absentee ballots.
If that were the case, there’s a good chance that McCrory would simply lose a very close race.
But yesterday a formal protest was filed in Bladen County challenging over 400 fraudulent votes that stem from an “absentee ballot mill” run by a Democratic PAC.
The details of that one look pretty bad.
There were stacks of straight Democratic ticket ballots turning up, most of which had “suspiciously” similar handwriting on the witness signature line.
...This looks bad all the way around. A Superior Court Judge was recently quoted as saying, “Durham historically hasn’t figured out how to carry out an election properly.”
Also, the State Bureau of Investigation has opened up an investigation of the processing of provisional and absentee ballots..."

Hillary Clinton Screaming Obscenities and Throwing Objects in Election Night Meltdown - Breitbart:

“Sources have told The American Spectator that on Tuesday night, after Hillary realized she had lost, she went into a rage,” R. Emmett Tyrrell reports. “Secret Service officers told at least one source that she began yelling, screaming obscenities, and pounding furniture. She picked up objects and threw them at attendants and staff. She was in an uncontrollable rage.”

NPR Puts 'Trigger Warning' at Start of Steve Bannon Story
"National Public Radio added a “trigger warning” to the start of a story on All Things Considered on Monday evening about President-elect Donald Trump’s decision to appoint Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon as Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor.
Host Robert Siegel introduced the story by David Folkenflik with the following warning (emphasis added):
Donald Trump has richly rewarded his campaign’s CEO, Steve Bannon, with an appointment as chief White House strategist. That appointment has inspired a firestorm. Bannon’s critics say his right-wing news site, Breitbart, spreads hate and bigotry, as NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik reports. And just a note – this story has language that some listeners might find offensive.

George Soros Can Be Charged With Treason and Sedition | iPatriot

George Soros Can Be Charged With Treason and Sedition | iPatriot:

"Sedition compliments treason. Then there is Seditious Conspiracy, which Webster defines as: “The crime of saying, writing, or doing something that encourages people to destroy the government.”

The Law Dictionary states that sedition is: “The crime of creating a revolt, disaster or violence against lawful civic authority with the intent to cause overthrow or destroy.” Read this one carefully. George Soros is attempting to deconstruct the constitutional government of the United States and replace it with a Communist Controlled One World Order, destroying the structure of America that was legally put in order."

Trump and International Security

Trump and International Security:
  • It is the EU, not Donald Trump, that threatens to undermine NATO and the security of the West. An EU defence union will present a direct threat to NATO, competing for funds, building in duplication and confusion, and setting up rival military structures.
  • "You can't say the past doesn't matter, the values we share don't matter, but instead try to get as much money out of NATO as possible and whether I can get a good deal out of it." — German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen.
  • This is breath-taking hypocrisy from the defence minister of Germany, which spends less than 1.2% of GDP on defence against an agreed NATO minimumtarget of 2%, while freeloading off the America's 73% contribution to NATO's overall defence spending.
  • European leaders would do well to recognize that they need the US more than the US needs them, and that real, concrete, committed defence from the world's greatest military power is more beneficial to them than a fantasy army that will have plenty of flags, headquarters and generals but no teeth.
  • Trump should also prioritize both practical and moral support to anti-Islamist regimes in the Middle East, such as Sisi's Egypt.
  • Rather than spreading fear and false propaganda about Donald Trump, they should be praying that he will provide the strength that is so desperately needed today, and working out how best they can support rather than attack him.
Since Donald Trump's election, media-fuelled panic has engulfed Europe, including over defence and security.
We are told that World War III is imminent, that Trump will jump into bed with Putin and pull the US out of NATO.
Such fantasies are put about by media cheerleaders for European political elites, terrified that Trump's election will inspire support for populist candidates in the forthcoming elections in Germany, the Netherlands and France.
In fact, it is the EU, not Donald Trump, that threatens to undermine NATO and the security of the West. In recent days, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, his foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, and German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen have suggested that Trump's election should give greater impetus to a European defence force..."

Annual Cost To Pay Teachers Same As Doctors $1,283 Per Person

Annual Cost To Pay Teachers Same As Doctors $1,283 Per Person [Michigan Capitol Confidential]
"A music video called “I just sued the school system” by rapper Prince Ea has gone viral on social media with its own pop recipe for how to fix the nation’s education system.
In the video, Prince Ea states that teachers are underpaid. “Teachers should earn just as much as doctors,” he states.
...But if the amount of training and skill needed to be a teacher is equivalent to that of a full medical doctor — which is what the suggestion they should get equivalent pay implies — then transitioning to this would come with a steep price tag.
The 101,025 teachers in Michigan earned an average $61,978 in 2014-15, the latest year for which data is available.
The average pay for family practitioners and pediatricians nationwide was $189,000 a year according to a 2012 survey done by Merritt Hawkins & Associates.
...Increasing the salary of all of Michigan’s public school teachers from $61,978 to $189,000 would cost every person in Michigan $1,283 annually, or $12.8 billion..."

Rice University Students Organize Group Hug to Cope with Trump Win - Breitbart:
"During a candlelight vigil event last week at Rice University, 150 students participated in a massive group hug in an effort to cope with Donald Trump’s victory in last week’s presidential election.
Students at Rice University organized the vigil in order to remind their peers that Rice “will continue to be a safe place” in Trump’s America.
Approximately 150 students gathered together and participated in the group hug, which occurred on one of the university’s main quads.
Female students at Rice University were also offered a “destress hour” by faculty members at the institution’s Women’s Resource Center.
“Please take care of yourselves in this stressful time.
...Students at Cornell University conducted a “cry in” event, in which students gathered together to drink Starbucks coffee and cry together over the results of the election.
At the University of Pennsylvania, students were offered emotional support puppies and coloring books in an effort to help them cope with Trump’s rise to the White House."

Here's Where People Voted For Barack Obama And Donald Trump In The Presidential Election : NPR
"Donald Trump's surprise victory on Tuesday came largely due to his over-performance of expectations in the Midwest.
His populist, anti-trade deal message was tailor-made for this region, but polling hadn't shown him pulling ahead of rival Hillary Clinton there.
But on Election Night, it was clear the surveys had missed a massive surge in some places and shifts in others of white, working-class voters in Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania that helped Donald Trump pull off the upset.
These maps show where the Trump surge happened and the places that flipped from supporting President Obama in 2012 to going for the Republican nominee and billionaire real-estate mogul just four years later."

ZERO TOLERANCE: Middle schooler suspended after cutting peach with ‘toddler’ butter knife | EAGnews.org:
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A Florida middle school suspended an honor-roll student for using a child knife to cut a peach to share with her friend at lunch in the cafeteria.
Ronald and Andrea Souto told WPLG that their 11-year-old daughter was eating lunch at Silver Trail Middle School and used the child butter knife to cut a peach to share with her friend, and she was quickly suspended for six days for violating the district’s weapons policy.
“This is a set of a spoon, fork and knife for toddlers – one year old,” Andrea Souto said.
“It is made for children to learn how to eat properly.

She’s used it since she was a baby.”
“The friend asked for half of the peach and she cuts half of the peach and gives it to her friend,” Roland Souto told the news site.
“She goes to the bathroom and comes back and the guy said, ‘Follow me.’”
The Soutos said the girl, an honor roll student who is “always trying to help someone” and “always trying to share things,” was issued the harsh punishment without much discussion and could now face criminal charges.
The Pembroke Pines Police Department confirmed to WPLG it investigated the case and forwarded the findings to the State Attorney’s Office..."

George Soros meets with Democratic donors to plot plan to ‘take back power’ from Trump – TheBlaze:

"After their millions of dollars failed to elect Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton last week, billionaire George Soros and his fellow wealthy liberals have gathered in Washington, D.C., to determine how to spend their money to block President-elect Donald Trump throughout his term in the White House.
The three-day meeting at the Mandarin Oriental hotel began Sunday, according to Politico, and is sponsored by the Democracy Alliance donor club. The event will feature keynote addresses from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), whose name is being floated for the chairmanship of the Democratic National Committee."

Stranded In The Academic Archipelago

Stranded In The Academic Archipelago | The American Conservative:
Jon Askonas, a reader studying at Oxford for his PhD, writes:
The Chronicle of Higher Education ran an article with a quick and dirty analysis of the university bubble as shown by county-by-county voter data comparing the counties where a state’s flagship public university is located and the overall state average. Obviously this is “noisy data”, but it is still absolutely astounding.

Two graphs below. First one shows states and flagship universities. But then I used the data to make one that displays the difference. In almost half of all the states, there was a TWENTY POINT difference between how much a state supported Hillary and how much the flagship university county did. No wonder the response from the ivory tower to a Trump victory has been so out of touch with the mood in the rest of America.
I have not used the first graf, because it belongs to the Chronicle (you can see it by following the link). But the second one, created by Jon, is here, and it is astonishing:

She further noted that Socialist Alternative is the name of the Socialist Party’s social media arm."

Trump Supporters Targeted in Vicious Attacks

Trump Supporters Targeted in Vicious Attacks | LifeZette:
"Election-crazed liberals increasingly turn violent against backers of the president-elect
In addition to a rash of violent protests from angry liberal agitators, Donald Trump’s stunning victory in the presidential election appears to have sparked a spate of attacks on his supporters.
Trump’s unexpected win seems to have triggered progressives so hard that all pretense of respectability — not to mention respect for the democratic process — has been shed, and for the first time in generations, the American Left has let its violent, totalitarian flag fly openly.

  • “That’s one of those white boy Trump supporters.” Two men were arrested in Meriden, Connecticut, on Saturday after beating up a Trump supporter. The Trump fan was on a traffic island, holding up both a pro-Trump sign and American flag, when suspects Wilson Eschevarria and Anthony Hobdy got out of their vehicle and proceeded to attack the victim.
  • In New York City on Friday, a Trump supporter wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap was assaulted while riding the subway. The victim was reportedly choked by an anti-Trump aggressor.
  • On Wednesday, a man in Chicago was dragged from his vehicle and beaten within an inch of his life following a traffic incident. “Somebody yelled, ‘That’s one of those white boy Trump supporters,'” the man told the local CBS affiliate. “I saw my life flash before my face,” he added.
  • The anti-Trump violence has also spread to schools. Jade Armenio, a sophomore at Woodside High School in Woodside, California, who isn't even old enough to vote, was nevertheless attacked by a gang of fellow students for having supported Trump.

In addition to isolated incidents of violent attacks on individual Trump supporters, the anti-Trump protests popping up across the country have also seen incidents of violence.
The worst violence has been in Portland, where on Saturday one person was shot and roughly 70 people were arrested.
Projectiles, including glass bottles and road flares, were thrown at police officers.
On Friday, harrowing video footage from the city showed a pregnant woman trapped in her car as protesters proceeded to attack it.
Her only apparent crime was being white and in the wrong place at the wrong time..."

There were more “Not Donald Trump” endorsements (32) than Trump endorsements (26).
The Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Florida Times-Union were the only two daily newspapers with circulations over 100,000 to endorse Trump. Seven of the 72 newspapers with circulations over 100,000 didn't give an endorsement.
USA Today broke its tradition of not endorsing presidential candidates by telling its readers that Trump wasn't fit to be president.
In Michigan, none of the 13 daily newspapers tracked by Wikipedia endorsed Trump.

Inrikes. Anders Vendel, a famous chef, restaurant owner and TV star from Malmö, Sweden, was savagely beaten by three “Muslim” men because they thought he looked like “Mr. Trump”, Sydsvenskan reports.
In a Facebook post that was later removed, Mr. Vendel – who is a well-known anti-Racist figure and a star of the TV show “The Struggle of the Chefs”– described the brutal assault that took place early Saturday morning in a late-night fast food restaurant in Malmö.

“Two of the men grabbed my arms from behind and the third one started punching me all over the face. I tried to defend myself with my legs. After receiving about 20 fists to my face, I fell down to the floor. All three then started kicking me as much as they could in my face and head. I now have a broken nose, bumps, a clogged eye, mouth, lips and jaw. Even a broken right thumb,” he continued..."
