Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, revealed his intentions to sue The Washington Post over a reported claim in a story he told President Donald Trump of testimony from the intelligence community that Russa was working on getting Trump re-elected later this year.
During an interview on the Fox News Channel, Nunes laid out the details and his concerns over revelations, pointing out the Intelligence Committee’s testimony should not have been revealed to the press, to begin with.

"...A recent forum held by the Black Student Alliance (BSA) on racist activities featured strong calls for action and change.
Calls include the student government “working to obtain warrants,” for individuals who made alleged racist and racist remarks in an “Ask President Stanley”  forum with MSU’s President the previous day. 
In addition, calls for mandated diversity classes and a free Black Power Rally.
...“We’re searching for IP addresses and working to obtain warrants to hold those responsible accountable for their actions.”

• 2016 - MSU student calls black high school student a gorilla, Molly Muck gorilla incident
• 2017 - Shoelace Noose; black students discover noose made out of shoelace in residence hall
• 2018 - MSU student posts racist slurs on social media; Jillian Kirk
• 2019 - Toilet paper noose incident and racist survey; noose is written off as a Halloween prank, MSU professor sends out the racist survey, which was reported by The Morning Watch
• 2020 - Wharton Center gift shop depicts prominent African American figures hanging from trees.

The report claims that customers are at risk of being ripped off in a “Wild West” unregulated carbon market, and that in many cases the schemes may not be offsetting emissions at all.
It includes this video, which gives a glimpse into the abuse of the system.

Just to pick some of the points raised in the story, it is claimed that many offsetting projects which claim to prevent deforestation or plant trees have had the opposite effect. 

...Meanwhile studies have shown that around three quarters of projects do not provide any environmental gain because they would have happened anyway.

...If you chuck millions of pounds at developing countries no questions asked, you should not be surprised if they just take the money and carry on as before, looking after their own interest.

...And in many cases, the West is merely paying for things that would have been done anyway.

"The Perverse Panic over Plastic. 
The green campaign against plastic isn’t merely a waste of time and money. Besides inconveniencing humans, it’s harmful to the environment. 
Banning plastic grocery bags contributes to global warming because it leads to more carbon emissions. 
Forcing Americans and Europeans to recycle plastic leads to more plastic pollution in the ocean because some of the recyclables end up being dumped in Asian rivers.

So why do greens keep stoking this panic? 
Because it makes them feel virtuously superior. 
The plastic bans are best understood as a modern version of medieval sumptuary laws, which forbade merchants and other commoners to wear clothes or use other products that offended the sensibilities of  aristocrats and clergymen. 
The sumptuary edicts consistently failed to accomplish their stated purpose, but they kept getting issued anyway (there were thousands of them across Europe, as I explain in City Journal) because they enabled nobles to lord it over their social inferiors.
The plastic panic also serves to provide employment for green activists. 
It’s one more example of what I call the Crisis Crisis: the never-ending series of hyped threats leading to policies that grow the government and leave everyone worse off.
