We've been warned!-----The Looming Electricity Crunch Facing The US

Major US grid operators are raising the alarm about the looming capacity crunch. - From NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT - Paul Homewood
“Six major U.S. grid operators have raised a unified alarm about an impending capacity crunch, warning that the pace and scale of explosive demand—including from data centers, manufacturing, and electrification—poses a precarious misalignment with accelerating generator retirements and transmission constraints...
All of the ten regional grids seem to be facing the same problems of increasing demand and closure of dispatchable capacity...
The US still relies on gas and coal for half of its power:

The US grid has been neglected for many years now, all in the naive belief that reliable coal and gas generation can be replaced with wind and solar...

The looming crunch may be even worse than the grid operators think.

European Union offers to remove all tariffs on industrial goods after Trump demands reparations from Europe | Blaze Media

European Union offers to remove all tariffs on industrial goods after Trump demands reparations from Europe | Blaze Media:

President Donald Trump issued an economic threat to European nations as the U.S. trade war continued to roil global markets, and European officials responded by offering industrial concessions Monday. The president told reporters Sunday that Europe needed to pay the U.S. for past grievances in order to alleviate the tariffs he imposed on them. The stock market has been in turmoil since Wednesday, when he announced across-the-board economic sanctions against various nations.

Transportation secretary says feds won't invest if cities 'don't clean up' act * WorldNetDaily * by Hailey Gomez, Daily Caller News Foundation:

"Our position is, if you don't clean up your act, we're not going to invest in you. If you do it well and you have beautiful trains that are on time, that are safe, we'll make those investments as taxpayers. But if you don't, we're going to pull the money and we'll put it somewhere else," Duffy added.

2 Wonderful stories!-----The High School Kids from Kansas Who Found the Female Schindler - Intellectual Takeout

Sendler’s story made history come alive for a handful of girls from Kansas who learned to apply the lessons of the past to their present struggles. - Annie Holmquist
...a handful of girls from Uniontown High School who introduced the world to Irena Sendler, the female version of Oskar Schindler, of Schindler’s List fame...
As student Megan Felt explains, Sendler’s name intrigued the girls in her history project group.
Yet despite extensive searching, they were unable to find out much about her, due to Communist suppression of the story after the war. Megan Felt remembers:
“Irena’s story was very much a light in my life, something that gave me encouragement that I need as a 14-year-old, that if she could walk into the Warsaw ghetto every day, not even being 5 feet tall, walking pass the German officers with a child sedated in a gunny sack over her shoulder saying, ‘They are dead from disease, I’m going to go get rid of the body,’ what if the baby would have whimpered a cry? She would have been shot immediately along with the child. … So, Irena’s story, I think very much impacted all of us in a very special, deep way.”
In other words, Sendler’s story made history come alive for a handful of girls from Kansas who learned to apply the lessons of the past to their present struggles.
That’s a rare occurrence these days.
  • Many Americans have become convinced that history is no longer relevant to modern life, a fact reflected in the scores of American high school seniors, which show that 88 percent are not proficient in history.
  • Is it time we made the past more of a priority in today’s public schools?

Cutting emissions: hairdressers and barbers will be trained to talk about climate with customers | Irish Independent

Can I get a cut, blow-dry and a crash course in climate please?
University College Cork is overseeing the project and Dr Maria Kirrane of the university’s office of sustainability said the idea was to tap into places where chat flowed naturally...
The participants will also practice how to counteract some of the myths and misunderstandings that people have about climate change and how to help turn negative attitudes into positive action...
The Brush With Climate scheme is being supported by a €63,000 grant from the Research Ireland Discover Programme funded by the Department of Education.

'Equity' Cameras Go Live in California - If You're Not Low Income, Prepare to Pay

'Equity' Cameras Go Live in California - If You're Not Low Income, Prepare to Pay:

San Francisco launched a controversial new traffic camera program through which residents with low incomes or receiving government assistance will receive substantial discounts in fines. City authorities turned on 33 new cameras last month, according to KABC-TV in Los Angeles, yet they will not give out citations for the first two months of the program. Instead, drivers will receive warnings during that time. Once citations do start, however, the income level of the driver will determine how much he or she will pay.

To all the "Hands Off" Protesters...

Time is of the essence—instead of being in the way, let’s act together before it’s too late. If not... - Wendy Sue Berry Ensing
We are currently at a critical juncture with a national debt of $36.5 trillion, increasing by $2 trillion each year.
This is a critical issue, and most experts are warning us that we have relatively few years left to take decisive action before America faces a financial crisis that would have catastrophic consequences for this country and the world.
  • Amid all your protests, the burning of Teslas, and your petulant vitriol, one crucial element is glaringly missing: any plan to cut government spending.
  • Instead, your goal appears to be to spend even more...
Time is of the essence—instead of being in the way, let’s act together before it’s too late.
If not...
  • HANDS OFF - my tax dollars, which were not intended for your pet projects and the corrupt, virtue-signaling Socialists who spew the garbage you all take as gospel. It’s not a slush fund and a money laundering operation through left-wing NGO's to make politicians rich.
  • HANDS OFF - my child at school. Teach them the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic. They are not there to be indoctrinated into your Marxist ideologies...READ ALL!

'Really hurting': Trump urged to investigate schools hiding 'secret transitions' from parents * WorldNetDaily * by Katelynn Richardson, Daily Caller News Foundation:

The district's policy instructing staff to label gender-related information as "confidential" and to remove it from students' official record violates federal law, the groups allege, citing the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA). Forms that staff fill out in connection with the district's "Gender Inclusion Guidance" ask if the student's parents are "aware and supportive" of their child's gender. If the parents are not supportive, it asks how "school-home communications" should be handled.

There Are Signs of a Category 5 Housing Crisis Forming and Coming Straight For Us

The tentacles of a homeowners insurance crisis are far-reaching - Eric Salzman
If there was ever a “canary in the coal mine” moment for the next housing crisis, it’s that mortgage and insurance giant Fannie Mae maintains a secret mortgage blacklist.
The Wall Street Journal broke the news on March 17 that Fannie Mae keeps a blacklist that includes condo associations it believes have too little property insurance or need to make critical building repairs.
According to the Journal, it’s a list that every major lender pays attention to.
  • In other words, if you’re buying a condo in a building on that list, you’re likely not going to get a loan.
  • However, the insurance “canary” isn’t just about condo buildings.
If you think homeowners insurance has already skyrocketed — and it has — hold on because you’re likely about to get screwed even more...

the modest warming we have experienced since 1950 is only one part of a natural trend.

It is not possible to claim that human emissions have any impact on global temperature. - Bjørn K Vottestad
No photo description available.
Snorre Næss -
This only confirms what SSB came up with in its statistical analysis of longer temperature datasets.
It is not possible to claim that human emissions have any impact on global temperature.
  • The small ice age from 1450-1850 is considered to be the coldest period in the last 10,000 years after the last ice age.
Thus, the modest warming we have experienced since 1950 is only one part of a natural trend.

President Trump wants 'fair and reciprocal' trade, not radical transformation

On Monday afternoon, the president provided significant and necessary clarity on his intentions for America’s position in the global economy... - Jordan Schachtel
Many permanently online sycophantic voices have even taken to suggesting that the president is determined to radically reorient global trade itself.
Well, it turns out that the president doesn’t share the sentiments of the ideologues.
On Monday, we received lots of much-needed clarity about the president’s plan of action.
The President held a press gaggle with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which he detailed his intentions for rebalancing global trade.
  • Two key words best capture the president’s intentions: “fair and reciprocal.”
  • More than anything, the president expressed that he wants better deals for American exporters.
  • Specifically, he wants foreign countries to grant American companies access to their markets, citing Japan, China, and European countries that he felt were creating unfair conditions for U.S. exports...

What a crayon box can teach the left about real diversity | Blaze Media

What a crayon box can teach the left about real diversity | Blaze Media:

But here’s a question. If science tells us that white is a mix of all colors, why do we often hear from the left that society is divided into “white” and “people of color”? Doesn’t that imply white isn’t a color at all?

Is it possible that the left’s framing is flawed? Could its prevailing narrative be missing something?

Let’s be honest: No one is actually the color white. Most so-called white people are really more off-white — maybe with a hint of pink, tan, yellow, or red mixed in. In other words, they’re still a color. So by that logic, wouldn’t that technically qualify them as “people of color,” too?

Apples and Oranges - Right now the US economy is struggling.

Jason Jacoby - There is a natural inclination to say that we're no better off than under Biden. - The Oculus
Yet there are huge differences between the struggles of both administrations.
Without going technical, here a brief summation of the differences ideologically.
  • Biden administration sought to modify for social and cultural outcomes. Virtually every move was designed to fit in the Green New Deal ( environmental) agenda. The idea was the shocks and pain were for the " greater good of saving the planet"...
  • The Trump plan is radically different. The goal is not some lofty, globalist theory. He is trying to achieve a better life for the average American. The government will be the area making sacrifices first. It will downsize, cut costs, undergo audits, root out corruption, tax cuts-ie: less income from the American citizen- is a plank. Opening up energy, meaning lower costs is underway.
The Trump plan is to return money and let Americans make choices.
The Biden plan was almost completely opposite....

'U.S. should pull out': Conservative group reveals how to squash the border crisis forever * WorldNetDaily * by Jason Hopkins, Daily Caller News Foundation:

Legislators must prohibit illegal border crossers from pursuing asylum, limiting such applications only to those arriving lawfully at ports of entry, Heritage argues. Migrants should also not be eligible for asylum if they: can safely relocate to their home country, already settled in a third country or travelled across a safe country and did not first seek asylum there.
