FBI Wants Biometrics Database Exempt From Federal Privacy Law | TheBlaze.com:

"The public has an opportunity to object to the proposed rule change.

Among the groups challenging the proposal is the American Civil Liberties Union, which says the change would make it harder for people to know whether the government maintains information on them and whether that information contains errors.

Neema Singh Guliani, ACLU legislative counsel, said in a statement that it was disturbing that the FBI has been collecting biometric information “without adequate privacy protections.”"

Saudi Father Overjoyed To Welcome Baby Into World, Shoots OB/GYN For Seeing Wife Naked

Saudi Father Overjoyed To Welcome Baby Into World, Shoots OB/GYN For Seeing Wife Naked | Daily Wire:
"A Saudi man was naturally ecstatic about his new baby being born, so he proceeded to shoot the doctor who delivered the baby.
According to Gulf News, the man had requested that a female gynecologist operate on his wife, and was enraged when the male Dr. Muhannad Al Zabn was the one who delivered the baby at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia back in April.
The man lured Dr. Al Zabn to the hospital garden by telling him he wanted to express gratitude for successfully bringing a newborn baby into the new world.
In the middle of their conversation, the man suddenly unleashed a handgun and shot Al Zabn.
The man fled but was eventually arrested by the police and is currently in jail.
Al Zabn is currently in stable condition inside the hospital, according to the hospital's spokesperson Bassam Al Buraikan.
The reason for the man's rage: Dr. Al Zabn had seen his wife naked by delivering the baby.
That was apparently too much for the man to bear..."

Hillary University: Bill Clinton Bagged $16.46 Million from For-Profit College as State Dept. Funneled $55 Million Back

Hillary University: Bill Clinton Bagged $16.46 Million from For-Profit College as State Dept. Funneled $55 Million Back - Breitbart:
"With her campaign sinking in the polls, Hillary Clinton has launched a desperate attack against Trump University to deflect attention away from her deep involvement with a controversial for-profit college that made the Clintons millions, even as the school faced serious legal scrutiny and criminal investigations.
In April 2015, Bill Clinton was forced to abruptly resign from his lucrative perch as honorary chancellor of Laureate Education, a for-profit college company.
The reason for Clinton’s immediate departure: Clinton Cash revealed, and Bloomberg confirmed, that Laureate funneled Bill Clinton $16.46 million over five years while Hillary Clinton’s State Dept. pumped at least $55 million to a group run by Laureate’s founder and chairman, Douglas Becker, a man with strong ties to the Clinton Global Initiative.
Laureate has donated between $1 million and $5 million (donations are reported in ranges, not exact amounts) to the Clinton Foundation..."

Democrat cities killing our children?-----At Least 33 US Cities Used Water Testing 'Cheats' Over Lead Concerns

At Least 33 US Cities Used Water Testing 'Cheats' Over Lead Concerns - Slashdot:
"In an exclusive report via The Guardian, investigators found there to be at least 33 cities across 17 U.S. states that have used water testing "cheats" in an effort to cover up potentially dangerous levels of lead.
The investigation was launched after the toxic water crisis in Flint, Michigan, and found that 21 of these cities used the same water testing methods that resulted in criminal charges against three government employees in Flint.
Such cities include Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit and Milwaukee.
The Guardian reports: "The Guardian investigation concerned thousands of documents detailing water testing practices over the past decade.
They include: Despite warnings of regulators and experts, water departments in at least 33 cities used testing methods over the past decade that could underestimate lead found in drinking water.
Officials in two major cities -- Philadelphia and Chicago -- asked employees to test water safety in their own homes.
Two states -- Michigan and New Hampshire -- advised water departments to give themselves extra time to complete tests so that if lead contamination exceeded federal limits, officials could re-sample and remove results with high lead levels.
Some cities denied knowledge of the locations of lead pipes, failed to sample the required number of homes with lead plumbing of refused to release lead pipe maps, claiming it was a security risk.""

Wonderful American heroes!-----Doughnut: The Official Story

Doughnut: The Official Story:
"Since 1917, when a cheerful Salvation Army lassie handed a fresh doughnut to a homesick doughboy in France, The Salvation Army doughnut has symbolized loving concern for those in the armed forces.
In 1917 young Helen Purviance, an ensign in the Salvation Army, was sent to France to work with the American First Division.
Putting her Hoosier ingenuity to work, she and a fellow officer, Ensign Margaret Sheldon, patted the first dough into shape by hand, but soon employed an ordinary wine bottle as a rolling pin.
Since they had no doughnut cutter, the lassies used a knife to cut the dough into strips and then twisted them into crullers..."

Obama Failed to Nominate Inspector General for Clinton’s State Department | Glenn Beck:

"During Hillary Clinton’s term to oversee the State Department, there wasn’t an Inspector General appointed, Buck Sexton said while filling in for Glenn on The Glenn Beck Program Wednesday. That would be a very convenient coincidence for a Secretary of State who played loosey goosey with her email communications."

Obama: Prepare to Flee Climate-Caused Hurricane Devastation

Obama: Prepare to Flee Climate-Caused Hurricane Devastation | MRCTV
"Pres. Obama called for every American to put together a disaster supply kit and evacuation plan because climate change is bringing “more powerful and more devastating” hurricanes to the U.S. – even though the U.S. hasn’t been hit with a major hurricane in more than a decade.
Announcing the June 1 start of hurricane season, Obama warned Americans to prepare for imminent climate change-caused hurricanes:
“All of us have seen the heartbreak, the damage and, in some case, the loss of life that hurricanes can cause.
And as climate continues to change, hurricanes are only going to become more powerful and more devastating..."

Ranking the States by Fiscal Condition 2016 Edition

Ranking the States by Fiscal Condition 2016 Edition | Mercatus:
A new study for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University ranks each US state’s financial health based on short- and long-term debt and other key fiscal obligations, such as unfunded pensions and healthcare benefits.
This 2016 edition updates the version the Mercatus Center published in 2015
Using the approach pioneered in 2015, the 2016 edition presents information from each state’s audited financial report in an easily accessible format, this time including Puerto Rico to provide a benchmark of poor fiscal performance.
Growing long-term obligations for pensions and healthcare benefits continue to strain the finances of state governments, highlighting the fact that state policymakers must be vigilant to consider both the short-term and the long-term consequences of their decisions.
Understanding how each state is performing in regard to a variety of fiscal indicators can help policymakers as they consider the consequences of policy decisions.
The study also highlights some of the limits of the financial data reported by state governments.
States release these data years after they are most relevant, and because the information is highly aggregated, analysts and the public have difficulty discerning the true fiscal position of any state.
To read the study in its entirety and learn more about its authors, Mercatus Senior Research Fellow Eileen Norcross, director of the Mercatus Center’s State and Local Policy Project, and Research Assistant Olivia Gonzalez, see the 2016 edition of “Ranking the States by Fiscal Condition.”

If You're A Woman Planning On Using A Public Restroom In The Future, You Should Know About This

If You're A Woman Planning On Using A Public Restroom In The Future, You Should Know About This:

"I’m at the point where I’m ruling out using public restrooms altogether. I mean, they’re usually disgusting anyway, so it isn’t that difficult of a decision. But now we run the risk of having creepy pervy men using our bathrooms for no other reason than “they feel like a woman.” And it’s not just that. Cameras. We have to watch out for hidden cameras now."

Simply wrong!-----CRAZY BARRY’S IS HAVING A HALF-OFF SALE! “Bank of America gets half off its Justice Dept. settle…

CRAZY BARRY’S IS HAVING A HALF-OFF SALE! “Bank of America gets half off its Justice Dept. settle…:

CRAZY BARRY’S IS HAVING A HALF-OFF SALE! “Bank of America gets half off its Justice Dept. settlement…by giving millions of dollars to liberal groups approved by the Obama administration:”
The bank has wiped about $194 million off its record $16.6 billion 2014 mortgage settlement by donating to nonprofits and legal groups. Thanks to little-known provisions in the settlement, the bank only had to make $84 million in donations to do that.

The bank wasn’t exploiting any loophole. It’s a key part of the deal the Justice Department offered to get it to settle in the first place. For every dollar the bank has given the nonprofits — none of which were victims of fraud themselves — it has claimed at least two dollars off the settlement. The deal ensured the Obama administration that a certain part of the settlement funds would go to friendly liberal groups, bypassing the normal congressional appropriations.

Among the groups receiving the money were Hispanic civil rights group the National Council of La Raza ($1.5 million), the National Urban League ($1.1 million) and the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America ($750,000).

* * * * * * * *

“This is nothing short of a shakedown and another example of how the Obama administration is rigging the system to benefit their political allies. Instead of directing settlements directly to victims or returning the money to the U.S. Treasury, President Obama set up a slush fund for community organizers and other liberal activists. This is outrageous,” said Rep. Sean Duffy, R-Wis., chairman of the Financial Services Committee’s Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.
It’s quite a racket – the 2008 financial crisis was caused by the Clinton administration massively expanding Jimmy Carter’s Community Reinvestment Act, forcing banks to give high-risk loans to those who had no business owning a home, in a textbook example of Reynolds’ Law run amok. Now in its wreckage, Bank of America is shaken down for billions by the same party that created the CRIA. And of course, no one in the MSM will ask Hillary about her husband’s involvement in the debacle – instead, as this NewsBusters headline today notes, “NY Mag Writer Begs Media to ‘Stop Bugging Hillary Clinton!’
As Michael Walsh would say, “think of the Democratic Party as what it really is: a criminal organization masquerading as a political party,” and you won’t go far wrong. Not to mention how all of the above is another marker on the road to “The Coming Middle-Class Anarchy,” if sufficient voters begin to realize how corrupt Beltway elites have rigged the system to benefit themselves and their cronies.

Defense Department falls prey to campus-style 'gender-neutral' political correctness

Defense Department falls prey to campus-style 'gender-neutral' political correctness - The College Fix:
"Poor Defense Secretary Ash Carter.
He is struggling, you see — not with strategies to fight ISIS or thwarting terror attacks here and abroad — but with how to make the whole of the Defense Department gender-neutral.
“One wants to signify a reality, which is a very favorable reality for us in defense, of the modern era, which is that we’re making full use of the wonderful talents of half of the population of the country,” he said.
“And it would be a huge mistake not to do so.”
The Navy and Marine Corps have been busy excising the word “man” from job titles, but Carter admits one term may be a a real challenge: “unmanned.”
[H]e has yet to come up with a practical alternative for those jobs that have “unmanned” as part of the title, such as “unmanned vehicle operator.”
Carter suggested that not only the titles, but also the programs and equipment might be examined for a less gender-specific name.
“We have all these programs that begin with ‘U.’
And I guess you can have a tech challenge for somebody who comes up with a word that begins with ‘U,’ which is — which — which doesn’t specify whether it’s a man or woman, but makes sure — but specifies that homo sapiens isn’t driving the thing,” he said..."

Home Internet Providers Are Going to Start Charging by the Gig, Just Like Your Phone Company Does

Home Internet Providers Are Going to Start Charging by the Gig, Just Like Your Phone Company Does:
"You must have known it was coming; if not then you were living in blissful ignorance.
AT&T has moved first, the second-largest broadband internet provider in the U.S. has imposed data usage limits on its customers.
If it doesn’t already, your home internet will soon come with a data plan just like your phone.
This could also put an end to mobile wireless networks and “hotspots,” as usage will cost money.
For AT&T U-Verse customers, limits between 300GB – 1 TB have been instituted depending on their plan.
That’s enough for somewhere between 100-400 hours of high-definition streaming.
Much like your phone, going over the data limit will result in additional charges.
It’s a model that looks to rapidly transform the home internet market..."

Paris bans pre-1997 cars from its streets during the week

Paris bans pre-1997 cars from its streets during the week | Ars Technica
Parisians with cars built before 1997 are going to need to head to the nearest car dealership if they want to keep driving in the city after July 1.
The French capital has experienced quite horrific air pollution in the last few years, and there was a massive spike in March 2015 that saw the city's air quality drop lower than that of Beijing, China.
After trying out temporary restrictions to vehicle traffic, Les Echos reports that the city has decided to implement new rules that will ban older and more polluting vehicles from its streets on weekdays. Those restrictions will also tighten over time; in 2020, only cars built since 2011 will be allowed.

The vehicle classification scheme means you get one of these window stickers based on which Euro emissions standard your vehicle complies with.
...Any vehicle made on or before December 31, 1996 was built to conform with Euro 1, the weakest of these standards, and it's these cars that are no longer allowed in the capital.
Pre-2000 motorbikes and other two-wheeled vehicles are also on the hit list.
