Trump could win the debate simply by bluffing:

Instapundit » Blog Archive » ANALYSIS: TRUE. Trump could win the debate simply by bluffing: Whatever his failings may be, Trump…:

Whatever his failings may be, Trump is an alpha male, and Holt is a nerd. Nobody outside the media-political-progressive class likes to see nerds beat alphas. It’s contrary to the basic order of things.

All Trump has to do is raise his voice a little to make it clear who’s in charge: “Ex-CUSE me, Lester, are you going to let me finish?” Or, “Listen, I’m the candidate here. People want to hear what I have to say, not what you have to say, OK?”

Holt will look pathetic, Trump supporters will roar and middle-of-the-road voters will think, “The man’s a strong leader, no doubt about it.”

Debates are not intelligence tests. They’re not LSATs. They’re television shows, and one participant is the former star of one of the top-ten highest-rated programs in the land.

Trump Sees the Jihadist Trojan Horse

Articles: Trump Sees the Jihadist Trojan Horse
"Ever wonder why there are so many Muslims and Muslim countries in the world?
Over the millennia many countries were conquered, but didn't remain Persian or Greek or Roman as the case may be.
You see, the countries conquered in the name of Islam, became and remained Islamic.
For example Pakistan, part of India, and Malaysia both were Hindu; Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Egypt and N. Africa were Christian; Afghanistan was Buddhist.
They are all Islamic now.
This transformation was not by chance but by design.
All these countries were conquered by force then shorn of their wealth and many of their women.
Then the Muslim conquerors introduced Sharia and continued fighting the local inhabitants.
The inhabitants were either forced to convert or accorded Dhimmi status.
As time went on all cultures submitted and eventually became Islamic.
The advance of Islam was finally reversed in Spain and stopped at the Gates of Vienna in 1642.
Thereafter the power of Islam went into decline but other than Spain, it never lost its hold on the people it conquered.
This decline was reversed in the Twentieth Century when Arabs became wealthy as a result of their vast oil reserves.
This wealth was then deployed to conquer the west, not by Violent Jihad, but by Stealth Jihad.
This design was referred to as The Islamic Doctrine. It consists of Koran (14%) which stipulates that “there is no god but ALLAH and Mohammed is his messenger”, Sira, Mohammed’s biography (26%) and Hadiths, traditions, (60%). There are two different Korans combined into one, the Mecca Koran and the Medina Koran.
Dr. Moorthy Muthuswamy writes,
About sixty-one percent of the contents of the Koran are found to speak ill of the unbelievers or call for their violent conquest; at best only 2.6 percent of the verses of the Koran are noted to show goodwill toward humanity. About seventy-five percent of Muhammad’s biography (Sira) consists of jihad waged on unbelievers.

College football players protest during anthem:

"Players for Michigan and Michigan State raised their fists during the national anthem at each team's respective home game Saturday.

Three Michigan State players -- running back Delton Williams, safety Kenney Lyke and defensive end Gabe Sherrod -- held their right fists in the air while standing for the anthem before the eighth-ranked Spartans' 30-6 loss to No. 11 Wisconsin."

"Before They Exchange Blows": Economic Facts Americans Should Remember in Trump-Clinton Debate

"Before They Exchange Blows": Economic Facts Americans Should Remember in Trump-Clinton Debate:
"...26 Incredible Facts About The Economy That Every American Should Know For The Trump-Clinton Debate
by Michael Snyder
Are you ready for the most anticipated presidential debate in decades?
It is being projected that Monday’s debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could potentially break the all-time record of 80 million viewers that watched Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter debate back in 1980.
Many Americans probably hope to see some personal fireworks between the two nominees, but the two candidates have both expressed a desire to focus on substantive issues.
There will likely be quite a few questions about the economy, and without a doubt this is an area where Trump and Clinton have some very sharp differences.
The mainstream media would have us believe that the U.S. economy is in pretty good shape, and if that was true that would seem to favor Clinton.
But is it actually true?

The following are 26 incredible facts about the economy that every American should know for the Trump-Clinton debate…
#1 When Barack Obama entered the White House, the U.S. government was 10.6 trillion dollars in debtToday, the U.S. government is 19.5 trillion dollars in debt, and Obama still has several months to go until the end of his second term.  That means that an average of more than 1.1 trillion dollars will be added to the national debt during his presidency.  We are stealing a tremendous amount of consumption from the future to make the economy look much, much better than it otherwise would be, and we are systematically destroying the future in the process.
#2 As Obama prepares to leave office, the rate at which we are adding to the national debt is actually increasing.  During the fiscal year that is just ending, the U.S. government has added another 1.36 trillion dollars to the national debt.
#3 It isn’t just the federal government that is on a massive debt binge.  Total U.S. corporate debt has nearly doubled since the end of 2007.
#4 Default rates on U.S. corporate debt are the highest that they have been since the last financial crisis..."

Why I Switched My Endorsement from Clinton to...

Why I Switched My Endorsement from Clinton to... | Scott Adams' Blog:
"As most of you know, I had been endorsing Hillary Clinton for president, for my personal safety, because I live in California.
It isn’t safe to be a Trump supporter where I live.
And it’s bad for business too.
But recently I switched my endorsement to Trump, and I owe you an explanation. So here it goes.
...2. Confiscation of Property: Clinton proposed a new top Estate Tax of 65% on people with net worth over $500 million. Her website goes to great length to obscure the actual policy details, including the fact that taxes would increase on lower value estates as well. See the total lack of transparency here, where the text simply refers to going back to 2009 rates. It is clear that the intent of the page is to mislead, not inform....
6. Persuasion: Economies are driven by psychology. If you expect things to go well tomorrow, you invest today, which causes things to go well tomorrow, as long as others are doing the same. The best kind of president for managing the psychology of citizens – and therefore the economy – is a trained persuader. You can call that persuader a con man, a snake oil salesman, a carnival barker, or full of shit. It’s all persuasion. And Trump simply does it better than I have ever seen anyone do it.
The battle with ISIS is also a persuasion problem. The entire purpose of military action against ISIS is to persuade them to stop, not to kill every single one of them. We need military-grade persuasion to get at the root of the problem. Trump understands persuasion, so he is likely to put more emphasis in that area.
Most of the job of president is persuasion. Presidents don’t need to understand policy minutia. They need to listen to experts and then help sell the best expert solutions to the public. Trump sells better than anyone you have ever seen, even if you haven’t personally bought into him yet. You can’t deny his persuasion talents that have gotten him this far....
I will be live streaming my viewing of the debate Monday night, with my co-host and neighbor, Kristina Basham. Tune your television to the debate and use your phone or iPad with the Periscope app, and look for me at @ScottAdamsSays.

‘Hillary cover-up operation’: FBI documents reveal how Clinton IT aide described plan to delete emails | TheBlaze.com:

"New documents released by the FBI Friday in another late-week document dump revealed that an IT aide to former secretary of state Hillary Clinton once referred to the operation to begin automatically deleting her emails as the “Hillary cover-up operation.”

The employee worked for the Platte River Network, which was the company tasked with handling Clinton’s emails after she left the State Department in February 2013."

"I’M SURE IT WAS IN EXCHANGE FOR COMPLETE AND HONEST TESTIMONY: Why Did the Obama Justice Department Grant Cheryl Mills Immunity?
In normal cases, the Justice Department does not grant immunity in exchange for evidence when it has lawful power to compel production of that evidence. Mills is not alone. Apparently her subordinate, longtime Clinton aide Heather Samuelson, was given the same deal.

Unbelievably, Mills and Samuelson, who are lawyers, were also permitted to represent Hillary Clinton in the very same investigation in which, we now learn, they were personally granted immunity from prosecution.

That’s apart from the fact that both of them were involved as government officials at the time they engaged in some of the conduct under investigation – a circumstance that, by itself, should have disqualified them from later serving as lawyers for other subjects in the same the investigation.
Gangster government, as Michael Barone says."

We need a wall!-----Mexico Can’t Stop Lying About a Massacre

Mexico Can’t Stop Lying About a Massacre - The Daily Beast:
The government claims the missing students were murdered by the cartels and incinerated en masse—but experts doubt this is the truth, and the families are still begging for answers.
MEXICO — The lives of dozens of Mexican families were forever altered when bullets rained down on their sons, rural college students who dreamed of one day becoming teachers.
Two years ago this Monday, a convoy of corrupt police ambushed students traveling to the city of Iguala, from the underfunded, all-male Raul Isidro Burgos Rural Normal School in the impoverished state of Guerrero.
The hours-long encounter, often referred to as “the night of terror,” left six people dead—both students and passersby.
But what happened in Iguala that night was just the beginning of a case that continues to shake the country.
As morning came on September 27, 2014, the country awoke to a horror that has not yet ended—a tragedy known simply as Ayotzinapa, after the tiny town where the teaching school was built.

That morning, as blood dried in the streets of Iguala, and bodies were collected, dozens of students who were unable to escape remained unaccounted for. Mexico soon learned that 43 students had been forcefully disappeared, taken by corrupt cops in the night.
Now, 24 months later, the fate of most of them remains unknown.
...“We’re going to kill you all,” the police told the students that night, according to testimony from one of the surviving bus drivers.
...Their sons, who traveled aboard a small fleet of buses they had commandeered—a practice that has become common among normalistas, and is usually tolerated—were making plans to attend the upcoming march in Mexico City on October 2, in memory of the students who died in the 1968 Tlatelolco student massacre.
...The order to attack the boys came from high up in the city’s hierarchy, from Iguala Mayor Jose Luis Abarca and his wife Maria de los Angeles Pineda, who later was revealed to be a key player in the Guerreros Unidos drug gang, with family ties to the Beltrán Leyva cartel.
The political power couple first claimed no knowledge of the attack—“I was dancing,” said the mayor after the chaos—but after repeatedly denying their role, the couple made a run for it, spending weeks on the lam, before their November 2014 arrest in a shabby Mexico City home.
Since the investigation began, the fugitive mayor and his wife, along with more than 100 others—mostly police officers, and small-town criminals—have been arrested and interrogated for their alleged roles in the disappearance.
Yet, still, the students have not been found..."

Release of 14,900 new Hillary Clinton emails delayed until AFTER Election Day | Daily Mail Online

Release of 14,900 new Hillary Clinton emails delayed until AFTER Election Day | Daily Mail Online:

"The president of a government transparency group lashed out at the U.S. State Department on Friday after a federal judge ruled that a trove of Hillary Clinton's emails can be released to the public after Election Day.
That means the majority of messages recovered during an FBI investigation into Clinton's classified email scandal won't see the light of day until well after Americans pick a new president, raising the possibility that an 'October surprise' might pop up in December or January."

1984:
Mondale lets Reagan’s one-liner negate a serious weakness
During 1984’s first debate, Reagan, then 73, aroused concern when he seemed to have trouble remembering his answers or following the questions.
He stumbled over his words and lacked clarity with each statement.
His opponent, former Vice President Walter Mondale, was crisp and sharp. In contrast, Reagan rambled through his closing statement to the alarm of his advisers.
Image result for reagan my opponent’s youth and inexperience.”Lou Cannon wrote that Reagan left the stage admitting to campaign adviser Stu Spencer “that he had flopped.”
The Wall Street Journal’s headline the next morning captured the zeitgeist: “New Question in Race: Is Oldest President Now Showing his Age?”
Fortunately for Reagan, he came back with a vengeance.
In a later debate, when Baltimore Sun journalist Henry Trewitt asked Reagan if his age would prevent him from fulfilling the rigors of the presidency, Reagan had a quip for the ages:
“I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I will not exploit, for political purposes, my opponent’s youth and inexperience.”
The audience erupted in laughter, including Mondale, which completely undercut the seriousness of the underlying charge."

It’s Time for Conservatives to Boycott the NFL - John Hawkins

It’s Time for Conservatives to Boycott the NFL - John Hawkins:

"Now, watching a football game requires you to put up with spoiled, pampered, privileged, obscenely wealthy man-children disrespecting America during the national anthem. As if that isn’t bad enough, you turn on ESPN or somewhere else discussing sports and what do you hear? Liberals talking about how great it is that these football players are crapping all over the country that made them rich and famous.
Forget about rushing for 100 yards and throwing 4 touchdowns in a game; if you really want people to talk about you, just tell everyone about how racist America is and how awful the police are because the latest criminal who was “about to turn his life around and go to college” gets shot after doing something insanely stupid and dangerous with a cop around."

Worthy read-----The Experiment: Capitalism versus Socialism

The Experiment: Capitalism versus Socialism | The Arts Mechanical
It comes down to the Mercedes or the Trabant
Paul Driessen writes:
University of Delaware climatology professor (and amateur history buff) David Legates offers some fascinating insights into a persuasive socio-economic experiment.
His analysis could provide handy intellectual ammunition for ongoing battles between free enterprise-oriented Republicans and committed socialists in the Democratic camp.
What if we could destroy a country’s political and economic fabric through a natural disaster – or a war – and then rebuild one half of it using capitalism as its base, while the other rebuilds on a socialist foundation?
David wonders.
Let the virtues of each system work their magic, and then see where the two new countries are after fifty years.
Actually, he says, we’ve already performed The Experiment.
It’s post-war Germany – and the outcome ought to end the debate over which system is better..."
