OPINION: Don’t Forget All The Democrats And Media Who Accused Trump Of ‘Treason’ | The Daily Caller:

For the past two years, Democrat politicians, liberal pundits and disgruntled former national security officials have stoked “collusion” hysteria in the media with accusations of treason against President Trump.
The mainstream media were able to keep their fake collusion narrative going for so long in large part because a steady stream of “expert” commentators were on hand to assure liberal journalists that the hoax was real.

In A Single Comic Strip, Dilbert Just Nuked Global Warming Hysteria
"In Sunday’s edition (5/14/2017) of the cartoon strip, Dilbert savages climate change scientist Michael Mann, who in response has been throwing a fit on Twitter for several days.

The climate scientist depicted in the strip bears a striking resemblance to Mann, who developed the disputed “hockey stick” graph, which he claims proves global warming is imminently upon us.
After the strip was published, Mann threw a fit on Twitter.

"Imagine you spent two years completely screwing up at your job, I mean not merely getting every single thing wrong but loudly, proudly getting in everyone else’s face about how right you are.
You’d get fired, terminated, 86’d, and Schiff-canned.
But not the mainstream media.
The media hacks failed for two years-plus, nonstop and without equivocation, but are they ever going to be held to account?
No, they’re just going to gather in a big circle and Pulitzer each other.
Imagine you committed a racial hate crime where you falsely accused people who didn’t look or think like you of a horrible atrocity, and that you’d have gladly picked some poor saps with the wrong skin tone out of a line-up and sent them to prison for decades given the chance.
...Now, what are the chances the DA is going to transform your 16 felony counts into a $10K fine and a couple days community servicing?
Your chances of said outcome are poor.
They are poor because your pals are neither Mrs. Obama or Willie Brown’s gal pal.
Now imagine that you studied really hard while the rich kids partied and smoked dope and splattered water on you by running their BMWs through puddles as you walked home from high school.
...Our elite is not elite.
Instead, it’s a bunch of bums who somehow got a little money and took the reins of power and are now shaking-down our great nation for every penny they can wring out of it.
People's Republic by [Schlichter, Kurt]
We owe them nothing – not respect, not gratitude and certainly not obedience.
If you still wonder how we got Trump, just look around you.
He’s a cry for help, a scream against the injustice we’re surrounded by.
This injustice is poison to our country.
This injustice is what makes republics fall apart, when the worthless ruling class pushes its contempt in the people’s collective face so hard and for so long that the population finally screams “The hell with this!”
It can’t continue.
It won’t continue.
That’s the essential message of my novels People's Republic, Indian Country and Wildfire, about an America split apart into red and blue nations and going uphill and way, way downhill, respectively. Check ‘em out so that when the consequences of our failed elite’s venal, stupid decisions arrive, you won’t be surprised.

Alleged Mexican drug dealer disappears after low bond, upsetting Detroit police chief - mlive.com
"DETROIT – Detroit police Chief James Craig said he’s “disappointed” and “troubled” that a man arrested with enough narcotics to earn a life sentence could flee to Mexico after a Detroit-area judge required him to pay a bond of just $200.
Speaking with the media on Friday, Craig asked why Mexican national Jose Antonio Lopez, who he described as a mid-to-high level drug dealer, was treated by a Romulus magistrate as if he were someone who stole a Hersey candy bar a third time.
Lopez’s bond was set by a visiting weekend judge on March 2.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy told the Associated Press that her office typically doesn't have an assistant prosecutor at weekend arraignments but said a high bond in Lopez' case was a "no-brainer."
...Lopez didn’t appear in court on March 12. Defense attorney William Winters says he hasn’t heard from Lopez, according to the Associated Press."

"A report in Huffington Post recently revealed the case of Wikipedia editor Ed Sussman, who was paid by media clients such as NBC and Axios to help diminish critical material.
Paid editors operating in a similar manner to Sussman have worked on behalf of CNN contributor Hilary Rosen and the CEOs of Reddit and Intel, among other clients.
Other conduct by Sussman not covered by the Huffington Post shows him authoring fluff pieces for NBC executives and getting his proposed changes approved by another paid Wikipedia editor..."

"WHICH IS WHY THE LEFT SEEKS TO DESTROY IT:
Good News, AIPAC Remains Bipartisan.
Readers have likely heard of O’Sullivan’s Law: “any organization or enterprise that is not expressly right wing will become left wing over time.”
The corollary is that the left seeks to destroy the unusual organization that successfully resists this evolution.
The left is going after AIPAC precisely because it cooperates with Republicans and Democrats, and because it cooperates with the Israeli government whether its led by the left or the right
...the constant refrain on the left that AIPAC is “right-wing” in fact should be translated to “it’s not left-wing, and anything not left-wing is implicitly right-wing and must be destroyed.”---Posted by David Bernstein"
(AIPAC--American Israel Public Affairs Committee is a lobbying group that advocates pro-Israel policies)

Ban on plastic bags comes close to reality in a 3rd state

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo and fellow Democrats who control the Legislature have reached a deal to make New York the third state with a ban on single-use plastic grocery bags as they worked to finalize budget agreements, officials said Friday.
The ban would prohibit grocery stores from providing plastic bags for most purchases, something California has been doing since a statewide ban was approved in 2016.
Hawaii has an effective statewide ban, with all its counties imposing their own restrictions.
Supporters of such bans say they keep plastic bags from entering the environment and causing damage to ecosystems and waterways..."

The Democrat-media meltdown over Special Olympics funding is everything we hate about Washington - Conservative Review

The Democrat-media meltdown over Special Olympics funding is everything we hate about Washington - Conservative Review
"The current debate surrounding grant funding for the Special Olympics is an excellent case study of why our country will probably never get out of debt.
In case you missed it, there’s been a fair amount of outrage over the Department of Education’s budget proposal to cut $18 million in federal grant money to the Special Olympics.
The proposed budget states that “such activities are better supported with other federal, state, local or private funds.
On Wednesday, Education Secretary DeVos responded to widespread criticism of the proposed spending reduction with a statement saying:
The Special Olympics is not a federal program. It’s a private organization. I love its work, and I have personally supported its mission. Because of its important work, it is able to raise more than $100 million every year. There are dozens of worthy nonprofits that support students and adults with disabilities that don’t get a dime of federal grant money. But given our current budget realities, the federal government cannot fund every worthy program, particularly ones that enjoy robust support from private donations.
Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., confronted DeVos on the proposed spending reforms during a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing on Thursday and said that whoever came up with the idea for the cuts “gets a Special Olympic gold medal for insensitivity.”...
DeVos responded to Durbin’s questions by saying that she wasn’t personally involved in that decision and that she hopes that the debate drives more private donations to the organization.
She added: “Let’s not use disabled children in a twisted way for your political narrative.
That is just disgusting and it’s shameful.”
Furthermore, according to a report at Politico, DeVos has even been an advocate against cutting the grant funding for years.
But Durbin’s not alone. Multiple congressional Democrats have used the news to score points against the administration.
Rep. Joe Kennedy says Education Secretary Betsy DeVos' proposal to cut Special Olympics funding is "cruel" and "misguided" https://

Long, worth your time. Could be you or your child-----The Duke Lacrosse Player Still Outrunning His Past | Vanity Fair

The Duke Lacrosse Player Still Outrunning His Past | Vanity Fair
ryan-mcfadyen-duke-lacrosse-scandal-book.png"...The entire Duke-lacrosse criminal case, from the night in question to the dismissal of the criminal charges against three players—Collin Finnerty, Reade Seligmann, and David Evans—took 13 months.
In that time, lacrosse coach Mike Pressler was forced to resign; the remainder of the team’s promising 2006 season, for which Duke returned six All Americans, was canceled; and nearly the entire nation, including many of the players’ own professors, presumed their guilt.
Pressler would eventually settle with the university for an unknown amount, and Finnerty, Seligmann, and Evans are thought to have received as much as $20 million each in a confidential settlement with Duke.
If that is correct, then between legal fees, settlements, and other public-relations fees, the party on the night of March 13, 2006 may have cost Duke $100 million.
For what was subsequently adjudged to be his many shortcomings in the handling of the Duke lacrosse case, Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong was fired from office, was disbarred and was sentenced to one day in jail—the only person who spent any time in jail in connection with the case.
Faced with the prospect of $180 million worth of lawsuits filed against him by the Duke players, he also filed for personal bankruptcy..."
