Video: New Trump Ad Calls Out Democrats for "Defund the Police" Movement: "If you call 911, who will answer the phone?"
"The Trump Campaign just came out with a great ad that calls attention to what will happen when the police departments are defunded.
When a crime is committed, because of defunding, no one will be there for days. This ad drills home the point that what the government is supposed to do will not be done.
The number one job of the government is to protect its citizens.
"Joe Biden’s allies are doing everything they can to Defund the Police.
If you call 911, who will answer the phone?
You won’t be safe in Joe Biden’s America."

Tweeting From His Basement, Joe Biden Threatens to 'Transform America'

Tweeting From His Basement, Joe Biden Threatens to 'Transform America'
"One can say a lot with few words, and Democrat former veep and presidential nominee Joe Biden has in this tweet.
The next question any reporter, if there are any actual ones with access to Biden or any of his surrogates, should be “Into what?”
Into what, would lifelong political hack Joe Biden transform the world’s oldest and most stable liberal republic, which by the way is also the strongest and most prosperous nation the world has ever seen?
He tweeted the tweet, so it should be simple enough to answer: Into what?
And what should Americans read into the fact that he tweeted this the day after America’s 244th birthday?...
  • He’s brought radical socialist Rep. AOC onto his campaign as his climate adviser, and she’s the face of the Green New Deal. That packet of far far left wishcasts would destroy what’s left of the economy and, among other crazy things, end air travel, end the consumption of meat, and force literally every building in the nation to undergo a government-run energy use overhaul.
  • Joe himself has pledged to end the use of fossil fuels, which would throw millions of Americans out of work, wreak havoc on several state economies and the national economy, and have us all depending on wind turbines, solar cells and the kind thoughts of unicorns to power our lives.
  • And Joe Biden has been wrong on just about every foreign policy issue of the past forty years.

In Detailed Thread, Twitter User Nails What Really Triggered the Media About Trump's Mount Rushmore Speech
"As several of my RedState colleagues noted over the weekend, the unhinged media/Democrat reactions to President Trump’s stirring Mount Rushmore speech from Friday were both predictable and annoying at the same time.
But perhaps the most annoying and predictable of them all was the response to it from CNN editor-at-large Chris Cillizza, who was so fauxfended over Trump’s remarks that he wrote an entire piece detailing what he called the “28 most outrageous lines” from Trump’s speech.
Here are some of the more noteworthy examples he cited of the “outrageous” nature of Trump’s speech:
2. “I am here as your President to proclaim, before the country and before the world, this monument will never be desecrated.”
5. “Angry mobs are trying to tear down statues of our founders, deface our most sacred memorials, and unleash a wave of violent crime in our cities.”
6. “Many of these people have no idea why they are doing this, but some know exactly what they are doing.”
10. “This left-wing cultural revolution is designed to overthrow the American Revolution.”
22. “Their goal is not a better America. Their goal is to end America.”
23. “For the sake of our honor, for the sake of our children, for the sake of our union, we must protect and preserve our history, our heritage, and our great heroes.”
Imagine thinking any of those lines from Trump’s speech are “outrageous” or in need of fact checking.
But this is Chris Cillizza we’re talking about here, the guy who once infamously proclaimed that reporters “don’t root for a side. Period.”
And yet here he is, rooting for a side.
Or rather, in this instance, against one.
A Twitter user who goes by the name “Destructive Chemistry” tweeted out a lengthy Twitter thread dissecting Cillizza’s piece by providing the context of Trump’s remarks that Cillizza conveniently left out.
The reasons why he left out the context will become more obvious the more you read the tweets.
Here are a few of them...Read all!

"...But though Black Lives Matter, AOC, and other high-profile Democrats have made it clear that no less than 100% defunding and abolishment of the police will do in their cities, there are Black leaders in Minneapolis who are putting the brakes on the whole idea for reasons up until this point were typically only mentioned by critics of the movement to defund police (bolded emphasis added):
“They have shown a complete disregard for the voices and perspectives of many members of the African American community,” said Nekima Levy Armstrong, a civil rights attorney and former president of the Minneapolis chapter of the NAACP.
“We have not been consulted as the city makes its decisions, even though our community is the one most heavily impacted by both police violence and community violence.”
...“We have a department that is troubled, but it is also a department that with the leadership of our chief could be really transformed, and the culture of policing could change dramatically if he was given the proper support,” said Herron, who ministers at Zion Baptist Church in north Minneapolis...

The two biggest news stories in the country are Coronavirus and race relations.
No news source reports the relevant death counts of either one in a form that would be useful to citizens.
The press is no longer pretending to inform.
It is straight propaganda.

A gifted orator, Douglass traveled frequently to give lectures on abolition. His “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” Speech, delivered July 5, 1852 in Rochester, New York is among his most famous. Douglass acknowledges the country’s founders as great, brave men who he considers heroes “for the good they did, and the principles they contended for.” Although he unites with other Americans to honor their memory, he also laments the disparity that exists between white and black Americans who did not equally enjoy the benefits that came from the Declaration of Independence.

"Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway cited the lack of concrete scientific evidence to support widespread mask-wearing to contend that the media has “overstated their confidence” in the practice and are using it as a “political cudgel” against skeptics.
...“Why are the pundits so rankled that President Trump is not a leading proponent of mask-wearing?” Kurtz asked Hemingway.
...“Right, the outrage and shame directed at skeptics of mask-wearing is excessive and almost certainly counterproductive,” Hemingway responded. “The CDC couches the evidence in support of widespread mask-wearing as undetermined.”

Trump proposes 'National Garden of American Heroes' to counter monument protests. Here's who is on the list so far. - TheBlaze:

Image result for flickr commons images president trumpThe president made the announcement during a speech at Mount Rushmore Friday in which he railed against left-wing activists who have been calling for the removal of American statues and monuments in the wake of George Floyd's death.
"Statues are silent teachers in solid form of stone and metal," the executive order reads. "[They] call forth gratitude for the accomplishments and sacrifices of our exceptional fellow citizens who, despite their flaws, placed their virtues, their talents, and their lives in the service of our Nation ... In preserving them, we show reverence for our past, we dignify our present, and we inspire those who are to come. To build a monument is to ratify our shared national project."
