It seems that this is truly just a delay and not a foreshadowing of some possible reversal of course.
In preparation for this shift in policy, the Army is rolling out special training material specifically tailored for female soldiers to “train” them in advance so they can be prepared for the day when a “woman with male genitalia” strolls into the shower with them. (Life Site News)

"National Collegiate Funding (NCF) is an umbrella name for 15 trusts that collectively hold 800,000 private student loans, totaling some $12 billion in outstanding obligations.
The only problem is that roughly $5 billion worth of those loans, or over 40%, are currently in default (and you thought auto delinquencies were bad).

Now, ordinarily when a student defaults on their loan, NCF simply files a lawsuit in local or state court as a means for negotiating a settlement or payment plan with the borrower.
Often times, NCF wins these cases automatically as the borrowers don't even bother to show up for their court date.
In cases like that, NCF can use their court victory to garnish wages and/or federal benefits from entitlement programs like Social Security which can haunt borrowers for decades (we actually wrote about it here: Baby Boomers Increasingly Having Social Security Checks Garnished To Cover Student Loan Payments).
Often times, NCF wins these cases automatically as the borrowers don't even bother to show up for their court date.
In cases like that, NCF can use their court victory to garnish wages and/or federal benefits from entitlement programs like Social Security which can haunt borrowers for decades (we actually wrote about it here: Baby Boomers Increasingly Having Social Security Checks Garnished To Cover Student Loan Payments).
That said, NCF is increasingly finding that, much like the subprime mortgage debacle from 10 years ago, student lending institutions apparently had a really hard time keeping tracking of paperwork over the years and/or processed deeply flawed contracts with incomplete ownership records and mass-produced documentation (who can forget that whole robo-signing catastrophe).

The Cambrian explosion—when most animal lineages first appeared—occurred a little more than 500 million years ago when, according to all estimates, carbon dioxide levels were several times higher than today.
The atmosphere of Venus is 965,000 ppm carbon dioxide, enveloped in clouds of sulfuric acid.
And Venus itself is almost 26 million miles closer to the sun than Earth.
So Hawking’s claim that the earth is on the “brink” of becoming like Venus is preposterous.
...What is really disturbing, though, is that Hawking has flagrantly given up on even the pretense of engaging with actual science.
He speaks entirely from authority:
I am a scientist.
Adopt this political policy that I favor or suffer fire and sulfuric acid.
The threatened punishment for noncompliance substitutes sulfuric acid for the regular sulfur (brimstone) that features in old-fashioned religion.
As far as the justification for the claim, there is no important difference between this and a religious statement that is supposed to be believed simply because it issues forth from a high priest.
